5 Synové Jáfetovi: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Mešech a Tiras.6 Synové pak Gomerovi: Ascenez, Difat a Togorma.7 Synové pak Javanovi: Elisa, Tarsis, Cetim a Rodanim.

8 Synové Chamovi: Chus, Mizraim, Put a Kanán.9 A synové Chusovi: Sába, Evila, Sabata, Regma, Sabatacha. 17 Synové Semovi: Elam, Assur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Hus a Hul, Geter a Mas.18 A Arfaxad zplodil Sále, Sále pak zplodil Hebera.19 Heberovi pak narodili se dva synové, z nichž jednoho jméno Peleg, proto že za dnů jeho rozdělena byla země, jméno pak bratra jeho Jektan.20 Kterýžto Jektan zplodil Elmodada, Salefa, Azarmota a Járe,21 A Adoráma, Uzala a Dikla,22 A Ebale, Abimahele a Sebai,23 A Ofira, Evila a Jobaba. Všickni ti byli synové Jektanovi.

24 Sem, Arfaxad, Sále,25 Heber, Peleg, Réhu,26 Sárug, Náchor, Táre,27 Abram, ten jest Abraham.

28 Synové Abrahamovi: Izák a Izmael.

29 Tito jsou rodové jejich: Prvorozený Izmaelův Nabajot, Cedar, Adbeel a Mabsan,30 Masma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad a Tema,31 Jetur, Nafis a Cedma. Ti jsou synové Izmaelovi.

32 Synové pak Cetury, ženiny Abrahamovy: Ta porodila Zamrana, Jeksana, Madana, Madiana, Jezbocha a Suecha. Synové pak Jeksanovi: Sába a Dedan.33 Synové pak Madianovi: Efa, Efer, Enoch, Abida a Helda. Všickni ti synové Cetury.34 Zplodil tedy Abraham Izáka. Synové pak Izákovi: Ezau a Izrael.

51 A když umřel Adad, byli vývodové Idumejští: Vývoda Tamna, vývoda Alja, vývoda Jetet,52 Vývoda Olibama, vývoda Ela, vývoda Finon,53 Vývoda Kenaz, vývoda Teman, vývoda Mabsar,54 Vývoda Magdiel, vývoda Híram. Ti byli vývodové Idumejští.

16 Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites.

17 The sons of Shem:

18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.

19 Two sons were born to Eber: the first was named Peleg, for during his lifetime the earth was divided;s his brother’s name was Joktan.
20 Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,22 Ebal,s Abimael, Sheba,

23 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

27 Abram (that is, Abraham).

28 The sons of Abraham:
Isaac and Ishmael.

Ishmael’s firstborn son was Nebaioth; the others weret Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

Keturah’s Descendants

32 The sons to whom Keturah, Abraham’s concubine,s gave birth:
Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, Shuah.
The sons of Jokshan:
Sheba and Dedan.

33 The sons of Midian:
Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

34 Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac:

46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad succeeded him. He struck down the Midianites in the plains of Moab; the name of his city was Avith.

47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him.

48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the riverts succeeded him.

49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded him.

50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him; the name of his city was Pai.s His wife was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab.

51 Hadad died.
