Descendientes de Adán y Noé

1 Adán, Set, Enós,2 Cainán, Mahalaleel, Jared,3 Enoc, Matusalén, Lamec,

4 Noé, Sem, Cam y Jafet.
5 Los hijos de Jafet fueron Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mesec y Tiras.6 Los hijos de Gomer fueron Askenaz, Difat y Togarmá.

7 Los hijos de Javán fueron Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim y Rodanim.
8 Los hijos de Cam fueron Cus, Mizrayim, Fut y Canaán.9 Los hijos de Cus fueron Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca; y los hijos de Raama fueron Seba y Dedán.10 Cus fue el padre de Nimrod; éste llegó a ser poderoso sobre la tierra.11 Y Mizrayim fue el padre del pueblo de Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Neftuhim,

12 Patrusim y Casluhim, de los cuales vinieron los Filisteos, y Caftor.
13 Canaán fue el padre de Sidón su primogénito, y de Het,14 y de los Jebuseos, los Amorreos, los Gergeseos,15 de los Heveos, los Araceos, los Sineos,

16 de los Arvadeos, los Zemareos y Hamateos.
17 Los hijos de Sem fueron Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Geter y Mesec.18 Arfaxad fue el padre de Sela, y Sela fue padre de Heber.19 A Heber le nacieron dos hijos, el nombre de uno fue Peleg, porque en sus días fue repartida la tierra, y el nombre de su hermano era Joctán.20 Joctán fue el padre de Almodad, Selef, Hazar Mavet, Jera,21 Adoram, Uzal, Dicla,22 Ebal, Abimael, Seba,

23 Ofir, Havila y Jobab; todos estos fueron hijos de Joctán.
24 Sem, Arfaxad, Sela,25 Heber, Peleg, Reu,26 Serug, Nacor, Taré,

27 Abram, es decir, Abraham.

Descendientes de Abraham

28 Los hijos de Abraham fueron Isaac e Ismael.29 Estas son sus genealogías: el primogénito de Ismael, Nebaiot, luego Cedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,30 Misma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Tema,31 Jetur, Nafis y Cedema; estos fueron los hijos de Ismael.32 Los hijos que Cetura, concubina de Abraham, dio a luz, fueron Zimram, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac y Súa. Y los hijos de Jocsán fueron Seba y Dedán.

33 Los hijos de Madián fueron Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida y Elda. Todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.
34 Abraham fue el padre de Isaac. Los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú e Israel.35 Los hijos de Esaú fueron Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jaalam y Coré.36 Los hijos de Elifaz fueron Temán, Omar, Zefí, Gatam, Quenaz, Timna y Amalec.37 Los hijos de Reuel fueron Nahat, Zera, Sama y Miza.38 Los hijos de Seir fueron Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Aná, Disón, Ezer y Disán.39 Los hijos de Lotán fueron Hori y Homam, y la hermana de Lotán fue Timna.40 Los hijos de Sobal fueron Alían, Manahat, Ebal, Sofi y Onam. Y los hijos de Zibeón fueron Aja y Aná.41 El hijo de Aná fue Disón. Y los hijos de Disón fueron Amram, Esbán, Itrán y Querán.

42 Los hijos de Ezer fueron Bilhán, Zaaván y Jaacán. Los hijos de Disán fueron Uz y Arán.
43 Estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom antes que reinara rey alguno de los Israelitas. Bela fue hijo de Beor, y el nombre de su ciudad era Dinaba.44 Cuando murió Bela, reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Zera, de Bosra.45 Cuando murió Jobab, reinó en su lugar Husam de la tierra de los Temanitas.46 Cuando murió Husam, reinó en su lugar Hadad, hijo de Bedad, que derrotó a Madián en el campo de Moab. El nombre de su ciudad era Avit.47 Cuando murió Hadad, reinó en su lugar Samla de Masreca.48 Cuando murió Samla, reinó en su lugar Saúl de Rehobot, que está junto al río.49 Cuando murió Saúl, reinó en su lugar Baal Hanán, hijo de Acbor.50 Cuando murió Baal Hanán, reinó en su lugar Hadad. El nombre de su ciudad era Pai, y el nombre de su mujer era Mehetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.51 Hadad murió. Y los jefes de Edom fueron: el jefe Timna, el jefe Alya, el jefe Jetet,52 el jefe Aholibama, el jefe Ela, el jefe Pinón,53 el jefe Quenaz, el jefe Temán, el jefe Mibzar,54 el jefe Magdiel, el jefe Iram. Estos fueron los jefes de Edom.

Japheth’s Descendants

5 The sons of Japheth:
Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

Ashkenaz, Riphath,s and Togarmah.

7 The sonst of Javan:
Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.st

Ham’s Descendants

8 The sons of Ham:

Sheba and Dedan.

10 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who established himself as a mighty warrior on earth.t
11 Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites,

12 Pathrusites, Casluhites (from whom the Philistines descendedt), and the Caphtorites.
13 Canaan was the father of Sidon – his firstborn – and Heth,14 as well as the Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,15 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,

16 Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites.

Shem’s Descendants

17 The sons of Shem:
Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
The sons of Aram:s
Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.s
18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.

19 Two sons were born to Eber: the first was named Peleg, for during his lifetime the earth was divided;s his brother’s name was Joktan.
20 Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,22 Ebal,s Abimael, Sheba,

23 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,s25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 Abram (that is, Abraham).

28 The sons of Abraham:
Isaac and Ishmael.

29 These were their descendants:
Ishmael’s firstborn son was Nebaioth; the others weret Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,

31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.

Keturah’s Descendants

32 The sons to whom Keturah, Abraham’s concubine,s gave birth:
Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, Shuah.
The sons of Jokshan:
Sheba and Dedan.

33 The sons of Midian:
Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

Isaac’s Descendants

34 Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac:
Esau and Israel.

Esau’s Descendants

35 The sons of Esau:
Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

36 The sons of Eliphaz:
Teman, Omar, Zephi,s Gatam, Kenaz, and (by Timna) Amalek.t

37 The sons of Reuel:
Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

The Descendants of Seir

38 The sons of Seir:
Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

39 The sons of Lotan:
Hori and Homam. (Timna was Lotan’s sister.)t

40 The sons of Shobal:
Alyan,s Manahath, Ebal, Shephi,s and Onam.
The sons of Zibeon:
Aiah and Anah.

41 The sont of Anah:
Dishon.
The sons of Dishon:
Hamran,t Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.

Kings of Edom

43 These were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king ruled over the Israelites:
Bela son of Beor; the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah, succeeded him.t

45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him.

46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad succeeded him. He struck down the Midianites in the plains of Moab; the name of his city was Avith.

47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him.

48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the riverts succeeded him.

49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded him.

50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him; the name of his city was Pai.s His wife was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab.

51 Hadad died.
