Hijos de Aram:s Uz, Hul, Guéter y Mésec. 18 Arfaxad fue el padre de Selá, y éste lo fue de Éber. 19 Éber tuvo dos hijos; el primero se llamó Péleg, porque en su tiempo se dividió la tierra. El hermano de Péleg se llamó Joctán. 20 Joctán fue el padre de Almodad, Sélef, Jazar Mávet, Yeraj, 21 Hadorán, Uzal, Diclá, 22 Obal,s Abimael, Sabá, 23 Ofir, Javilá y Jobab. Todos éstos fueron hijos de Joctán.

24 Sem, Arfaxad, Selá, 25 Éber, Péleg, Reú, 26 Serug, Najor, Téraj 27 y Abram, que es también Abraham.

Descendientes de Abraham

28 Hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael. 29 Sus descendientes fueron Nebayot, primogénito de Ismael, Cedar, Adbel, Mibsán, 30 Mismá, Dumá, Masá, Hadad, Temá, 31 Jetur, Nafis y Cedema. Éstos fueron los hijos de Ismael. 32 Los hijos de Cetura, la concubina de Abraham, fueron Zimrán, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac y Súah. Su ciudad se llamaba Avit. 47 Cuando Hadad murió, lo sucedió en el trono Samla, que era de Masreca. 48 Cuando Samla murió, lo sucedió en el trono Saúl, que era de Rejobot a orillas del río Éufrates. 49 Cuando Saúl murió, lo sucedió en el trono Baal Janán hijo de Acbor. 50 Cuando Baal Janán murió, lo sucedió en el trono Hadad. Su ciudad se llamaba Pau,s y su esposa fue Mehitabel, hija de Matred y nieta de Mezab. 51 Después de que murió Hadad, gobernaron en Edom los siguientes caudillos: Timná, Alvá, Jetet, 52 Aholibama, Elá, Pinón, 53 Quenaz, Temán, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel e Iram. Éstos fueron los caudillos de Edom.

18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.

19 Two sons were born to Eber: the first was named Peleg, for during his lifetime the earth was divided;s his brother’s name was Joktan.
20 Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,22 Ebal,s Abimael, Sheba,

23 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Keturah’s Descendants

32 The sons to whom Keturah, Abraham’s concubine,s gave birth:
Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, Shuah.
The sons of Jokshan:
Sheba and Dedan.

33 The sons of Midian:
Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

34 Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac:

45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him.

46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad succeeded him. He struck down the Midianites in the plains of Moab; the name of his city was Avith.

47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him.

48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the riverts succeeded him.

49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded him.

50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him; the name of his city was Pai.s His wife was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab.

51 Hadad died.
