1 A-đam sanh Sết, Sết sanh Ê-nót;2 Ê-nót sanh Kê-nan, Kê-nan sanh Ma-ha-la-le, Ma-ha-la-le sanh Giê-rệt;3 Giê-rệt sanh Hê-nóc, Hê-nóc sanh Mê-tu-sê-la, Mê-tu-sê-la sanh Lê-méc;4 Lê-méc sanh Nô-ê, Nô-ê sanh Sem, Cham và Gia-phết.5 Con trai Gia-phết là Gô-me, Ma-gốc, Ma-đai, Gia-van, Tu-banh, Mê-siếc, và Ti-ra.6 Con trai của Gô-me là Ách-kê-na, Đi-phát, và Tô-ga-ma.7 Con trai của Gia-van là Ê-li-sa, Ta-rê-si, Kít-tim, và Rô-đa-nim.8 Con trai của Cham là Cúc, Mích-ra-im, Phút, và Ca-na-an.9 Con trai của Cúc là Sê-ba, Ha-vi-la, Sáp-ta, Ra-ê-ma và Sáp-tê-ca. 13 Canaan was the father of Sidon – his firstborn – and Heth,14 as well as the Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,15 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,

16 Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites.

17 The sons of Shem:
Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
The sons of Aram:s
Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.s
18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.

19 Two sons were born to Eber: the first was named Peleg, for during his lifetime the earth was divided;s his brother’s name was Joktan.
20 Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,22 Ebal,s Abimael, Sheba,

23 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,s25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 Abram (that is, Abraham).

47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him.

48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the riverts succeeded him.

49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded him.

50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him; the name of his city was Pai.s His wife was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab.
