Descendientes de Jacob

1 Estos son los hijos de Israel (Jacob): Rubén, Simeón, Leví, Judá, Isacar, Zabulón,

2 Dan, José, Benjamín, Neftalí, Gad y Aser.
3 Los hijos de Judá fueron Er, Onán, y Sela; estos tres le nacieron de Bet Súa la Cananea. Y Er, primogénito de Judá, fue malo ante los ojos del Señor, quien le dio muerte.

4 Tamar, su nuera, dio a luz a Pérez y a Zera. Judá tuvo cinco hijos en total.
5 Los hijos de Pérez fueron Hezrón y Hamul.6 Los hijos de Zera fueron Zimri, Etán, Hemán, Calcol y Dara: cinco en total.7 El hijo de Carmi fue Acar (Acán), el perturbador de Israel, que hizo mal en cuanto al anatema.

8 El hijo de Etán fue Azarías.
9 Los hijos que le nacieron a Hezrón, fueron Jerameel, Ram y Quelubai.10 Ram fue el padre de Aminadab y Aminadab fue el padre de Naasón, jefe de los hijos de Judá;11 Naasón fue el padre de Salmón y Salmón fue padre de Booz;

Genealogía de David

12 Booz fue el padre de Obed y Obed el padre de Isaí,13 e Isaí fue el padre de Eliab su primogénito, luego Abinadab el segundo y Simea el tercero.14 Natanael el cuarto, Radai el quinto,15 Ozem el sexto, y David el séptimo;16 y sus hermanas fueron Sarvia y Abigail. Y los tres hijos de Sarvia fueron Abisai, Joab y Asael.

17 Abigail dio a luz a Amasa, y el padre de Amasa fue Jeter el Ismaelita.
18 Y Caleb, hijo de Hezrón, tuvo hijos de Azuba su mujer, y de Jeriot; y estos fueron los hijos de ella: Jeser, Sobab y Ardón.19 Cuando Azuba murió, Caleb tomó por mujer a Efrata, la cual dio a luz a Hur.

20 Hur fue el padre de Uri y Uri fue el padre de Bezalel.
21 Después Hezrón se unió a la hija de Maquir, padre de Galaad, y la tomó por mujer cuando él tenía sesenta años; y ella dio a luz a Segub.22 Segub fue el padre de Jair, que tuvo veintitrés ciudades en la tierra de Galaad.23 Pero Gesur y Aram les tomaron las aldeas de Jair, con Kenat y sus aldeas, sesenta ciudades. Todos estos fueron los hijos de Maquir, padre de Galaad.

24 Después de la muerte de Hezrón en Caleb Efrata, Abías, mujer de Hezrón, dio a luz a Asur, padre de Tecoa.
25 Los hijos de Jerameel, primogénito de Hezrón, fueron Ram el primogénito, luego Buna, Orén, Ozem y Ahías.26 Jerameel tuvo otra mujer, cuyo nombre era Atara; ella fue la madre de Onam.27 Los hijos de Ram, primogénito de Jerameel, fueron Maaz, Jamín y Equer.28 Los hijos de Onam fueron Samai y Jada. Y los hijos de Samai fueron Nadab y Abisur.29 Y el nombre de la mujer de Abisur era Abihail, y ella dio a luz a Ahbán y a Molid.30 Los hijos de Nadab fueron Seled y Apaim, y Seled murió sin hijos.31 El hijo de Apaim fue Isi, el hijo de Isi fue Sesán, y el hijo de Sesán fue Ahlai.32 Los hijos de Jada, hermano de Samai, fueron Jeter y Jonatán. Jeter murió sin hijos.

33 Los hijos de Jonatán fueron Pelet y Zaza. Estos fueron los hijos de Jerameel.
34 Sesán no tuvo hijos, sino hijas. Sesán tenía un siervo Egipcio cuyo nombre era Jarha.35 Sesán dio a su hija por mujer a Jarha su siervo, y ella dio a luz a Atai.36 Atai fue el padre de Natán y Natán fue el padre de Zabad,37 Zabad fue el padre de Eflal y Eflal fue el padre de Obed,38 Obed fue el padre de Jehú y Jehú fue el padre de Azarías,39 Azarías fue el padre de Heles y Heles fue el padre de Elasa,40 Elasa fue el padre de Sismai y Sismai fue el padre de Salum,

41 Salum fue el padre de Jecamías y Jecamías fue el padre de Elisama.

Y Harán fue el padre de Gazez.47 Los hijos de Jahdai fueron Regem, Jotam, Gesam, Pelet, Efa y Saaf.48 Maaca, concubina de Caleb, dio a luz a Seber y a Tirhana.49 También dio a luz a Saaf, padre de Madmana, a Seva, padre de Macbena y padre de Gibea; y la hija de Caleb fue Acsa.

50 Estos fueron los hijos de Caleb.
Los hijos de Hur, primogénito de Efrata, fueron Sobal, padre de Quiriat Jearim,51 Salma, padre de Belén, y Haref, padre de Bet Gader.52 Sobal, padre de Quiriat Jearim, tuvo hijos: Haroe, la mitad de los Manahetitas,53 y las familias de Quiriat Jearim: los Itritas, los Futitas, los Sumatitas y los Misraítas; de éstos salieron los Zoratitas y los Estaolitas.54 Los hijos de Salma fueron Belén y los Netofatitas, Atrot Bet Joab y la mitad de los Manahetitas, los Zoraítas.55 Y las familias de los escribas que habitaron en Jabes fueron los Tirateos, los Simeateos y los Sucateos. Esos son los Quenitas que vinieron de Hamat, padre de la casa de Recab.

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin;

Judah’s Descendants

3 The sons of Judah:
Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bathshua,t a Canaanite woman. Er, Judah’s firstborn, displeased the Lord, so the Lord killed him.t

4 Tamar, Judah’st daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

5 The sons of Perez:
Hezron and Hamul.

6 The sons of Zerah:
Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Kalkol, Daras – five in all.

7 The sont of Carmi:
Achan,s who brought the disaster on Israel when he stole what was devoted to God.t

8 The sont of Ethan:
Azariah.

9 The sons born to Hezron:
Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.t

Ram’s Descendants

10 Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, the tribal chief of Judah.11 Nahshon was the father of Salma,s and Salma was the father of Boaz.

12 Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.
13 Jesse was the father of Eliab, his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,15 Ozem sixth, David seventh.16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah’s three sons were Abshai,t Joab, and Asahel.

17 Abigail bore Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

Caleb’s Descendants

18 Caleb son of Hezron fathered sons by his wife Azubah (also known as Jerioth).t Her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.19 When Azubah died, Caleb marriedt Ephrath, who bore him Hur.

20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.
21 Laters Hezron had sexual relations witht the daughter of Makir, the father of Gilead. (He had marriedt her when he was sixty years old.) She bore him Segub.22 Segub was the father of Jair, who owned twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23 (Geshur and Aram captured the towns of Jair,t along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding towns.) All these were descendants of Makir, the father of Gilead.

24 After Hezron’s death, Caleb had sexual relations with Ephrath, his father Hezron’s widow, and she bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.t

Jerahmeel’s Descendants

25 The sons of Jerahmeel, Hezron’s firstborn, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah; she was Onam’s mother.

27 The sons of Ram, Jerahmeel’s firstborn, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28 The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada.
The sons of Shammai:
Nadab and Abishur.

29 Abishur’s wife was Abihail, who bore him Ahban and Molid.

30 The sons of Nadab:
Seled and Appaim. (Seled died without having sons.)

31 The sont of Appaim:
Ishi.
The son of Ishi:
Sheshan.
The son of Sheshan:
Ahlai.

32 The sons of Jada, Shammai’s brother:
Jether and Jonathan. (Jether died without having sons.)

33 The sons of Jonathan:
Peleth and Zaza.
These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
34 Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. Sheshan had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

35 Sheshan gave his daughter to his servant Jarha as a wife; she bore him Attai.
36 Attai was the father of Nathan, and Nathan was the father of Zabad.37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal was the father of Obed.38 Obed was the father of Jehu, and Jehu was the father of Azariah.39 Azariah was the father of Helez, and Helez was the father of Eleasah.40 Eleasah was the father of Sismai, and Sismai was the father of Shallum.

41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.

42 The sons of Caleb, Jerahmeel’s brother:
His firstborn Mesha, the father of Ziph, and his second son Mareshah,s the father of Hebron.

43 The sons of Hebron:
Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
44 Shema was the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam. Rekem was the father of Shammai.

45 Shammai’s son was Maon, who was the father of Beth-Zur.

46 Caleb’s concubines Ephah bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.

47 The sons of Jahdai:
Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Caleb’s concubine Maacah bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

49 She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah and Sheva the father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Achsah.

50 These were the descendants of Caleb.

51 Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Beth-Gader.
52 The sons of Shobal, the father of Kiriath Jearim, were Haroeh, half of the Manahathites,t

53 the clans of Kiriath Jearim – the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. (The Zorathites and Eshtaolites descended from these groups.)t

54 The sons of Salma:
Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth-Joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,

55 and the clans of the scribest who lived in Jabez: the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who descendedt from Hammath, the father of Beth-Rechab.t
