1 Crónicas 2

1 ESTOS son los hijos de Israel: Rubén, Simeón, Leví, Judá, Issachâr, Zabulón,2 Dan, José, Benjamín, Nephtalí, Gad, y Aser.3 Los hijos de Judá: Er, Onán, y Sela. Estos tres le nacieron de la hija de Sua, Cananea. Y Er, primogénito de Judá, fué malo delante de Jehová; y matólo.4 Y Thamar su nuera le parió á Phares y á Zara. Todos los hijos de Judá fueron cinco.5 Los hijos de Phares: Hesrón y Hamul.6 Y los hijos de Zara: Zimri, Ethán, Hemán, y Calcol, y Darda; en todos cinco.7 Hijo de Chârmi fué Achâr, el que alborotó á Israel, porque prevaricó en el anatema.8 Azaría fué hijo de Ethán.9 Los hijos que nacieron á Hesrón: Jerameel, Ram, y Chêlubai.10 Y Ram engendró á Aminadab; y Aminadab engendró á Nahasón, príncipe de los hijos de Judá;11 Y Nahasón engendró á Salma, y Salma engendró á Booz;12 Y Booz engendró á Obed, y Obed engendró á Isaí;13 E Isaí engendró á Eliab, su primogénito, y el segundo Abinadab, y Sima el tercero;14 El cuarto Nathanael, el quinto Radai;15 El sexto Osem, el séptimo David:16 De los cuales Sarvia y Abigail fueron hermanas. Los hijos de Sarvia fueron tres: Abisai, Joab, y Asael.17 Abigail engendró á Amasa, cuyo padre fué Jether Ismaelita.

18 Caleb hijo de Hesrón engendró á Jerioth de su mujer Azuba. Y los hijos de ella fueron Jeser, Sobad, y Ardón.

19 Y muerta Azuba, tomó Caleb por mujer á Ephrata, la cual le parió á Hur.

20 Y Hur engendró á Uri, y Uri engendró á Bezaleel.

21 Después entró Hesrón á la hija de Machîr padre de Galaad, la cual tomó siendo él de sesenta años, y ella le parió á Segub.

22 Y Segub engendró á Jair, el cual tuvo veintitrés ciudades en la tierra de Galaad.

23 Y Gesur y Aram tomaron las ciudades de Jair de ellos, y á Cenath con sus aldeas, sesenta lugares. Todos estos fueron de los hijos de Machîr padre de Galaad.

24 Y muerto Hesrón en Caleb de Ephrata, Abia mujer de Hesrón le parió á Ashur padre de Tecoa.

25 Y los hijos de Jerameel primogénito de Hesrón fueron Ram su primogénito, Buna, Orem, Osem, y Achîa.

26 Y tuvo Jerameel otra mujer llamada Atara, que fué madre de Onam.

27 Y los hijos de Ram primogénito de Jerameel fueron Maas, Jamín, y Acar.

28 Y los hijos de Onam fueron Sammai, y Jada. Los hijos de Sammai: Nadab, y Abisur.

29 Y el nombre de la mujer de Abisur fué Abihail, la cual le parió á Abán, y á Molib.

30 Y los hijos de Nadab: Seled y Aphaim. Y Seled murió sin hijos.

31 E Isi fué hijo fué hijo de Aphaim; y Sesam, hijo de Isi; é hijo de Sesam, Alai.

32 Los hijos de Jada hermano de Simmai: Jether y Jonathán. Y murió Jether sin hijos.

33 Y los hijos de Jonathán: Peleth, y Zaza. Estos fueron los hijos de Jerameel.

34 Y Sesán no tuvo hijos, sino hijas.

35 Y tuvo Sesán un siervo Egipcio, llamado Jarha, al cual dió Sesán por mujer á su hija; y ella le parió á Athai.

36 Y Athai engendró á Nathán, y Nathán engendró á Zabad:

37 Y Zabad engendró á Ephlal, y Ephlal engendró á Obed;

38 Y Obed engendró á Jehú, y Jehú engendró á Azarías;

39 Y Azarías engendró á Heles, Heles engedró á Elasa;

40 Elasa engendró á Sismai, y Sismai engendró á Sallum;

41 Y Sallum engendró á Jecamía, y Jecamía engendró á Elisama.

42 Los hijos de Caleb hermano de Jerameel fueron Mesa su primogénito, que fué el padre de Ziph; y los hijos de Maresa padre de Hebrón.

43 Y los hijos de Hebrón: Core, y Thaphua, y Recem, y Sema.

44 Y Sema engendró á Raham, padre de Jorcaam; y Recem engendró á Sammai.

45 Maón fué hijo de Sammai, y Maón padre de Beth-zur.

46 Y Epha, concubina de Caleb, le parió á Harán, y á Mosa, y á Gazez. Y Harán engendró á Gazez.

47 Y los hijos de Joddai: Regem, Jotham, Gesán, Pelet, Epho, y Saaph.

48 Maachâ, concubina de Caleb, le parió á Sebet, y á Thirana.

49 Y también le parió á Saaph padre de Madmannah, y á Seva padre de Macbena, y padre de Ghiba. Y Achsa fué hija de Caleb.

50 Estos fueron los hijos de Caleb, hijo de Hur, primogénito de Ephrata: Sobal, padre de Chîriath-jearim;

51 Salma, padre de Beth-lehem; Hareph, padre de Beth-gader.

52 Y los hijos de Sobal padre de Chîriath-jearim fueron Haroeh, la mitad de los Manahethitas.

53 Y las familias de Chîriath-jearim fueron los Ithreos, y los Phuteos, y los Samatheos, y los Misraiteos; de los cuales salieron los Soratitas, y los Estaolitas.

54 Los hijos de Salma: Beth-lehem, y los Nethophatitas, los cuales son las coronas de la casa de Joab, y de la mitad de los Manahethitas, los Soraitas.

55 Y las familias de los escribas, que moraban en Jabes, fueron los Thiratheos, Simatheos, Sucatheos; los cuales son los Cineos que vinieron de Hamath, padre de la casa de Rechâb.

Israel’s Descendants

1 These were the sons of Israel:t
Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah;
Issachar and Zebulun;

2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin;
Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

Judah’s Descendants

3 The sons of Judah:
Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bathshua,t a Canaanite woman. Er, Judah’s firstborn, displeased the Lord, so the Lord killed him.t

4 Tamar, Judah’st daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

5 The sons of Perez:
Hezron and Hamul.

6 The sons of Zerah:
Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Kalkol, Daras – five in all.

7 The sont of Carmi:
Achan,s who brought the disaster on Israel when he stole what was devoted to God.t

8 The sont of Ethan:
Azariah.

9 The sons born to Hezron:
Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.t

Ram’s Descendants

10 Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, the tribal chief of Judah.11 Nahshon was the father of Salma,s and Salma was the father of Boaz.

12 Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.
13 Jesse was the father of Eliab, his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,15 Ozem sixth, David seventh.16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah’s three sons were Abshai,t Joab, and Asahel.

17 Abigail bore Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

Caleb’s Descendants

18 Caleb son of Hezron fathered sons by his wife Azubah (also known as Jerioth).t Her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.19 When Azubah died, Caleb marriedt Ephrath, who bore him Hur.

20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.
21 Laters Hezron had sexual relations witht the daughter of Makir, the father of Gilead. (He had marriedt her when he was sixty years old.) She bore him Segub.22 Segub was the father of Jair, who owned twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23 (Geshur and Aram captured the towns of Jair,t along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding towns.) All these were descendants of Makir, the father of Gilead.

24 After Hezron’s death, Caleb had sexual relations with Ephrath, his father Hezron’s widow, and she bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.t

Jerahmeel’s Descendants

25 The sons of Jerahmeel, Hezron’s firstborn, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah; she was Onam’s mother.

27 The sons of Ram, Jerahmeel’s firstborn, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28 The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada.
The sons of Shammai:
Nadab and Abishur.

29 Abishur’s wife was Abihail, who bore him Ahban and Molid.

30 The sons of Nadab:
Seled and Appaim. (Seled died without having sons.)

31 The sont of Appaim:
Ishi.
The son of Ishi:
Sheshan.
The son of Sheshan:
Ahlai.

32 The sons of Jada, Shammai’s brother:
Jether and Jonathan. (Jether died without having sons.)

33 The sons of Jonathan:
Peleth and Zaza.
These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
34 Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. Sheshan had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

35 Sheshan gave his daughter to his servant Jarha as a wife; she bore him Attai.
36 Attai was the father of Nathan, and Nathan was the father of Zabad.37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal was the father of Obed.38 Obed was the father of Jehu, and Jehu was the father of Azariah.39 Azariah was the father of Helez, and Helez was the father of Eleasah.40 Eleasah was the father of Sismai, and Sismai was the father of Shallum.

41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.

42 The sons of Caleb, Jerahmeel’s brother:
His firstborn Mesha, the father of Ziph, and his second son Mareshah,s the father of Hebron.

43 The sons of Hebron:
Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
44 Shema was the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam. Rekem was the father of Shammai.

45 Shammai’s son was Maon, who was the father of Beth-Zur.

46 Caleb’s concubines Ephah bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.

47 The sons of Jahdai:
Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Caleb’s concubine Maacah bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

49 She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah and Sheva the father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Achsah.

50 These were the descendants of Caleb.
The sonst of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrath:t
Shobal, the father of Kiriath Jearim,

51 Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Beth-Gader.
52 The sons of Shobal, the father of Kiriath Jearim, were Haroeh, half of the Manahathites,t

53 the clans of Kiriath Jearim – the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. (The Zorathites and Eshtaolites descended from these groups.)t

54 The sons of Salma:
Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth-Joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,

55 and the clans of the scribest who lived in Jabez: the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who descendedt from Hammath, the father of Beth-Rechab.t
