1 Korint 1

1 Ari Paul, ke dikangauka nyadi rasul Jesus Kristus nitihka peneka Allah Taala, enggau ari menyadi kitai Sostenes,

2  t Ngagai eklisia Allah Taala di Korint, ngagai orang ke dikuduska dalam Jesus Kristus, ke dikangauka nyadi nembiak Tuhan sama enggau semua orang di semua endur ke ngangauka nama Tuhan Jesus Kristus, ti Tuhan sida enggau Tuhan kitai:

3  t Awakka Allah Taala ti Apai kitai enggau Tuhan Jesus Kristus meri kita berekat enggau pemaik.

Berekat Dalam Kristus


4  t Aku endang seruran meri terima kasih ngagai Allah Taala ke kita, ketegal pengasih ti udah diberi Iya ngagai kita dalam Jesus Kristus, 5 laban dalam Jesus Kristus kita udah nyadi kaya dalam semua jaku enggau penemu, 6 laban saksi kami pasal Kristus udah dikamatka ba kita, 7 datai ke kita nadai kurang ba pemeri ti diberi Roh Kudus, lebuh kita nganti Jesus Kristus Tuhan kitai dipandangka. 8 t Iya deka mega negapka kita datai ke ujung, ngambika kita nadai penyalah lebuh Hari Jesus Kristus Tuhan kitai.

9 t Allah Taala endang tau dikarapka. Kita udah dikangauka Iya ngambika kita bekaul enggau Anak Iya Jesus Kristus Tuhan kitai.

Penyerekang Dalam Gerija


10 Diatu, dalam nama Jesus Kristus Tuhan kitai aku minta kita, menyadi, sama besetuju enggau pangan diri, enda beserekang, tang begempung enggau pangan diri, sama seati, sama sepenemu, sama juluk ati enggau pangan diri. 11 Laban sida Kloi sebilik bisi udah madah ngagai aku, menyadi, pasal kita ke belaya enggau pangan diri. 12 t Utai ti ku aku nya siku nyebut, “Aku nitihka Paul,” siku nyebut, “Aku nitihka Apollos,” siku nyebut, “Aku nitihka Peter”, lalu siku nyebut, “Aku nitihka Kristus.”

13 t Kati Kristus udah dibagi? Kati Paul udah diregang ngarika kita? Tauka, kita udah dibaptisa dalamt nama Paul?t
14  t Aku meri terima kasih ngagai Allah Taalat ke diri ke nadai udah maptisa kita, kelimpah ari maptisa Krispus seduai Gaius, 15 enggai ke orang ngumbai kita udah dibaptisa dalam nama aku. ( 16 t Aku udah mega maptisa sida Stepanas sebilik. Tang kelimpah ari nya, aku enda ingat enti aku bisi udah maptisa orang bukai.)

17 t Laban Kristus ukai ngasuh aku maptisa orang, tang ngasuh aku nusui Berita Manah - ukai ngena pengelanchar bejaku ti datai ari penemu-dalam mensia, enggai ke kuasa regang Kristus lenyau ngapa.

Kristus Nya Kuasa Enggau Penemu dalam Allah Taala


18 Laban pesan pasal regang nya utai ti mapap ba orang ke deka mati, tang ba kitai ke diselamatka, pesan nya kuasa Allah Taala.

19 t Laban endang udah ditulis,
“Aku deka ngerusak penemu-dalam orang ke pintar,
lalu ngemuntanka pemintar orang ke pandai.”

20  t Ni orang ke bepenemu-dalam? Ni orang ke bepelajar? Ni orang ke landik belabanka penemu di dunya tu? Kati Allah Taala nadai udah nunjukka pemeli penemu-dalam ti datai ari dunya?
21  t Laban dunya enda ulih ngelala Allah Taala ngena penemu-dalam sida, nya alai Allah Taala ngena penemu-dalam Iya, mutuska runding deka ngena pemeli pesan ti ditusui kami, nyelamatka orang ke arap. 22 t Laban orang Judah minta kereja ajih, lalu orang Gerika minta penemu-dalam, 23 t tang kami nusui pasal Kristus ke diregang, pesan ti ditulak orang Judah, lalu orang bansa bukai ngumbai pesan nya beli. 24 Tang ba orang ke dikangauka Allah Taala, orang Judah enggau orang bansa bukai, Kristus nya kuasa enggau penemu-dalam Allah Taala.

25 Laban pemeli Allah Taala pintar agi ari penemu-dalam mensia, lalu pengelemi Allah Taala kering agi ari pengering mensia.
26 Peratika gaya kita suba, menyadi, lebuh Allah Taala ngangauka kita: nadai mayuh kita nya orang ke bepenemu-dalam enti dikira nitihka penemu mensia. Nadai mayuh kita nya orang ke bekuasa, nadai mayuh kita nya orang ke tinggi pangkat, 27 t tang Allah Taala udah milih orang ke beli di dunya tu kena Iya ngemaluka orang ke bepenemu-dalam. Iya udah milih utai ti lemi di dunya tu kena Iya ngemaluka utai ti kering. 28 t Allah Taala udah milih orang ke baruh pendiau sereta dikeleseka dunya, ke nadai reti, kena Iya ngerusak utai ti endang udah bisi, 29 t ngambika nadai orang ulih temegah di mua Allah Taala. 30 t Allah Taala nya ti pun pengidup kita dalam Jesus Kristus, ke nyadi penemu-dalam Allah Taala, nyadi pengelurus, pengudus enggau penebus kitai, 31 t ngambika, munyi ti udah ditulis, “Awakka orang ke deka temegah, temegahkat Tuhan.”

1 CORINTHIANS 1

1 From Paul, chosen by God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from Sosthenes, who is also a follower.

2  t To God's church in Corinth. Christ Jesus chose you to be his very own people, and you worship in his name, as we and all others do who call him Lord.

3 My prayer is that God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you and will bless you with peace!
4 I never stop thanking my God for treating you with undeserved grace by giving you Christ Jesus, 5 who helps you speak and understand so well. 6 Now you are certain that everything we told you about our Lord Christ Jesus is true. 7 You are not missing out on any blessings, as you wait for him to return. 8 And until the day Christ does return, he will keep you completely innocent.

9 God can be trusted, and he chose you to be partners with his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Taking Sides


10 My dear friends, as a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, I beg you to get along with each other. Don't take sides. Always try to agree in what you think. 11 Several people from Chloe's familyt have already reported to me that you keep arguing with each other.

12 t They have said that some of you claim to follow me, while others claim to follow Apollos or Petert or Christ.
13 Has Christ been divided up? Was I nailed to a cross for you? Were you baptized in my name? 14 t I thank Godt that I didn't baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius. 15 Not one of you can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 t I did baptize the familyt of Stephanas, but I don't remember if I baptized anyone else.

17 Christ did not send me to baptize. He sent me to tell the good news without using words that sound wise and would make the cross of Christ lose its power.

Christ Is God's Power //and Wisdom


18 The message about the cross doesn't make any sense to lost people. But for those of us who are being saved, it is God's power at work.

19 t As God says in the Scriptures,
“I will destroy the wisdom
of all who claim
to be wise.
I will confuse those
who think they know
so much.”
20  t What happened to those wise people? What happened to those experts in the Scriptures? What happened to the ones who think they have all the answers? Didn't God show that the wisdom of this world is foolish?

21 t God was wise and decided not to let the people of this world use their wisdom to learn about him.
Instead, God chose to save only those who believe the foolish message we preach. 22 Jews ask for miracles, and Greeks want something that sounds wise. 23 But we preach that Christ was nailed to a cross. Most Jews have problems with this, and most Gentiles think it is foolish. 24 Our message is God's power and wisdom for the Jews and the Greeks that he has chosen.

25 Even when God is foolish, he is wiser than everyone else, and even when God is weak, he is stronger than everyone else.
26 My dear friends, remember what you were when God chose you. The people of this world didn't think that many of you were wise. Only a few of you were in places of power, and not many of you came from important families.

27 But God chose the foolish things of this world to put the wise to shame. He chose the weak things of this world to put the powerful to shame.
28 What the world thinks is worthless, useless, and nothing at all is what God has used to destroy what the world considers important. 29 God did all this to keep anyone from bragging to him. 30 You are God's children. He sent Christ Jesus to save us and to make us wise, acceptable, and holy. 31 t So if you want to brag, do what the Scriptures say and brag about the Lord.
