2 พวก_เขา_ทุก_คน_ก็_ถูก_จุ่ม_เข้า_ไป_ใน_เมฆ และ_ใน_ทะเล_เพื่อ_จะ_ได้_กลาย_เป็น_ผู้_ติด_ตาม_โมเสส

3 เขา_ได้_กิน_อาหาร_ทิพย์_อย่าง_เดียว_กัน

4 ดื่ม_น้ำ_ทิพย์_เหมือน_กัน ที่_ไหล_ออก_มา_จาก_ศิลา_ศักดิ์สิทธิ์_นั้น_ที่_ร่วม_เดิน_ทาง_มา_กับ_พวก_เขา ศิลา_นั้น_คือ_พระคริสต์_นั่น_เอง

5 แต่_พระเจ้า_ไม่_พอใจ_พวก_เขา_ส่วน_ใหญ่ ที่_เรา_รู้_ก็_เพราะ_มี_คน_ตาย_เกลื่อน_กลาด_ใน_ที่_เปล่า_เปลี่ยว_แห้ง_แล้ง_นั้น

6 เรื่อง_พวก_นี้_เกิด_ขึ้น_เพื่อ_เป็น_ตัวอย่าง_ไม่_ให้_เรา_เกิด_ความ_อยาก_ใน_สิ่ง_ชั่วๆ_นั้น เหมือน_กับ_ความ_อยาก_ของ_คน_พวก_นั้น

7 เรา_ต้อง_ไม่_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_พวก_เขา_บางคน_ทำ พระคัมภีร์_บอก_ไว้_ว่า “ผู้คน_นั่ง_ลง_กิน_ดื่ม และ_ลุก_ขึ้น_มา_เต้นรำ_มั่วสุม_ทาง_เพศ”t

8 เรา_ต้อง_ไม่_ทำ_ผิด_ทาง_เพศ_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_บางคน_ใน_พวก_เขา_ทำ จน_มี_คน_ต้อง_ล้ม_ตาย_ลง_ถึง_สอง_หมื่น_สาม_พัน_คน_ใน_วัน_เดียว

9 เรา_ต้อง_ไม่_ลองดี_กับ_พระคริสต์_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_พวก_เขา_บางคน_ทำ จน_ถูก_งู_กัด_ตาย

10 เรา_ต้อง_ไม่_บ่น_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_บางคน_ใน_พวก_เขา_บ่น จน_พระเจ้า_ต้อง_ส่ง_ทูต_มา_ฆ่า_พวก_เขา

11 สิ่ง_เหล่า_นี้_เกิด_ขึ้น_กับ_พวก_เขา_เพื่อ_เอา_ไว้_เป็น_ตัวอย่าง และ_มัน_ถูก_เขียน_ขึ้น_มา_เพื่อ_เตือนสติ_เรา_ที่_อยู่_ใน_ช่วง_รอย_ต่อ_ของ_ยุค_เก่า_และ_ยุค_ใหม่

12 ดัง_นั้น_คน_ที่_คิด_ว่า_ตัวเอง_ยืน_มั่นคง_อยู่_แล้ว_ก็_ระวัง_ตัว_ให้_ดี จะ_ได้_ไม่_ล้ม_ลง

13 การ_ทด_ลอง_ที่_พวก_คุณ_มี_นั้น_ก็_ไม่_ได้_แตกต่าง_ไป_จาก_ที่_คน_อื่น_มี_หรอก_ครับ แต่_พระเจ้า_นั้น_ซื่อ_สัตย์ พระองค์_จะ_ไม่_ปล่อย_ให้_พวก_คุณ_ถูก_ทด_ลอง_จน_ทน_ไม่_ไหว แต่_พระองค์_จะ_มี_ทางออก_ให้ เพื่อ_พวก_คุณ_จะ_ทน_ได้

14 สรุป_แล้ว เพื่อน_รัก ให้_หลีก_เลี่ยง_การ_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ_เสีย

15 ผม_กำลัง_พูด_กับ_พวก_คุณ_อย่าง_คน_ที่_มี_มันสมอง ให้_ตัดสิน_เอา_เอง_ถึง_สิ่ง_ที่_ผม_พูด_นี้

16 เมื่อ_เรา_ขอบคุณ_พระเจ้า_และ_ดื่ม_จาก_ถ้วย_นั้น ก็_เป็น_การ_เข้า_ส่วน_ใน_เลือด_ของ_พระคริสต์_ไม่_ใช่_หรือ และ_ขนมปัง_ที่_เรา_หัก_นั้น เป็น_การ_เข้า_ส่วน_ใน_ร่าง_กาย_ของ_พระคริสต์_ไม่_ใช่_หรือ

17 มี_ขนมปัง_แค่_ก้อน_เดียว พวก_เรา_ที่_มี_กัน_หลาย_คน_ก็_เลย_เป็น_กาย_เดียว_กัน เพราะ_เรา_ทุก_คน_ได้_กิน_ขนมปัง_ก้อน_เดียว_กัน

18 ดู_ชนชาติ_อิสราเอล_สิ เมื่อ_พวก_เขา_กิน_ของ_ที่_บูชา_มา เขา_ก็_เป็น_ส่วน_หนึ่ง_ใน_แท่น_บูชา_นั้น_ไม่_ใช่_หรือ

19 ผม_พยายาม_จะ_พูด_อะไร_หรือ ผม_กำลัง_พูด_ว่า_เนื้อ_สัตว์_ที่_เอา_มา_เซ่น_ไหว้_นั้น_มี_ค่า_และ_รูป_เคารพ_นั้น_สำคัญ_หรือ_อย่าง_ไร

21 พวก_คุณ_จะ_ดื่ม_ทั้ง_ถ้วย_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_พร้อม_กับ_ถ้วย_ของ_พวก_ปีศาจ_ด้วย_ก็_ไม่_ได้ และ_จะ_ร่วม_โต๊ะ_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_พร้อม_กับ_โต๊ะ_ของ_พวก_ปีศาจ_ด้วย_ก็_ไม่_ได้

22 เรา_พยายาม_จะ_ทำ_ให้_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_หึง_หรือ เรา_คิด_ว่า_เรา_แข็งแรง_กว่า_พระองค์_หรือ

ใช้_เสรีภาพ_เพื่อ_ให้_เกียรติ_พระเจ้า_เถิด

23 บางคน_พูด_ว่า “ฉัน_มี_สิทธิ์_ที่_จะ_ทำ_อะไร_ก็_ได้” แต่_ผม_ว่า_ไม่_ใช่_ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_ทำ_ไป_นั้น_จะ_เป็น_ประโยชน์ บางคน_ว่า “ฉัน_มี_สิทธิ์_จะ_ทำ_อะไร_ก็_ได้” แต่_ผม_ว่า_ไม่_ใช่_ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_จะ_ทำ_ให้_คน_เข้มแข็ง_ขึ้น

24 อย่า_เห็นแก่_ตัว ให้_เห็น_กับ_คน_อื่น

25 เนื้อ_ที่_วาง_ขาย_อยู่_ตาม_ท้องตลาด_นั้น_กิน_ได้_หมด ไม่_ต้อง_ไป_ถาม_ซอก_แซก_ว่า_เนื้อ_มา_จาก_ไหน เพื่อ_ความ_สบายใจ_ของ_คุณ_เอง

26 เพราะ_พระคัมภีร์_บอก_ไว้_ว่า “โลก_และ_ทุก_สิ่ง_ใน_โลก_นี้_เป็น_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต”t

27 ถ้า_คน_ที่_ไม่_ไว้_วางใจ_พระเจ้า_เชิญ_พวก_คุณ_ไป_กิน_อาหาร และ_คุณ_ก็_อยาก_ไป ก็_ให้_กิน_ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_เขา_จัด_มา_ให้_โดย_ไม่_ต้อง_ถาม_อะไร_ทั้ง_นั้น เพื่อ_ความ_สบายใจ_ของ_ตัว_คุณ_เอง

28 แต่_ถ้า_มี_คน_มา_บอก_พวก_คุณ_ว่า “เนื้อ_นี้_เอา_ไป_บูชา_มา” ก็_อย่า_กิน_เลย เพื่อ_เห็น_กับ_คน_ที่_บอก_คุณ_นั้น และ_เพื่อ_ความ_สบายใจ_ด้วย

29 ผม_ไม่_ได้_หมายถึง_ความ_สบายใจ_ของ_คุณ_นะ แต่_หมายถึง_ความ_สบายใจ_ของ_คน_นั้น_ที่_คิด_ว่า ถ้า_คุณ_กิน_ก็_ผิด_แน่ พวก_คุณ_บางคน_อาจ_จะ_ย้อน_ถาม_ผม_ว่า “ทำ_ไม_สิทธิ์_ของ_ผม_จะ_ต้อง_ถูก_จำกัด_ด้วย_ความ_คิด_ของ_คน_อื่น_ด้วย

30 ถ้า_ผม_กิน_ร่วม_กับ_พวก_เขา_และ_ขอบคุณ_พระเจ้า_แล้ว ทำ_ไม_ผม_จะ_ต้อง_ถูก_ต่อว่า_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_อย่าง_น้อย_ผม_ได้_ขอบคุณ_พระเจ้า_แล้ว”

31 คำ_ตอบ_คือ ไม่ว่า_จะ_กิน หรือ_จะ_ดื่ม หรือ_จะ_ทำ_อะไรก็_ตาม ให้_ทำ_ทุก_อย่าง_เพื่อ_ถวาย_เกียรติ_กับ_พระเจ้า

32 อย่า_สร้าง_ปัญหา_ให้_กับ_ใคร_เลย ไม่ว่า_จะ_เป็น_ยิว_หรือ_ไม่_ใช่_ยิว_หรือ_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

33 เหมือน_กับ_ที่_ผม_พยายาม_จะ_เอา_ใจ_ทุก_คน_ใน_ทุก_เรื่อง โดย_ไม่_ได้_คิด_ถึง_ประโยชน์_ของ_ตัวเอง แต่_คิด_ถึง_ประโยชน์_ของ_ทุกๆ_คน เพื่อ_พวก_เขา_จะ_ได้_รอด

1 Corinthians 10

Avoid Israel's Mistakes

1 For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea;2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;3 and all ate the same spiritual food;4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.5 Nevertheless, with most of them God was not well-pleased; for they were laid low in the wilderness.

6 Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved.7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, "THE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND STOOD UP TO PLAY."8 Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day.9 Nor let us try the Lord, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents.10 Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer.11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.15 I speak as to wise men; you judge what I say.16 Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ?17 Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.18 Look at the nation Israel; are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar?19 What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?20  No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons.21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?

23 All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify.24 Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor.25 Eat anything that is sold in the meat market without asking questions for conscience' sake;26 FOR THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S, AND ALL IT CONTAINS.27 If one of the unbelievers invites you and you want to go, eat anything that is set before you without asking questions for conscience' sake.28 But if anyone says to you, "This is meat sacrificed to idols," do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for conscience' sake;29 I mean not your own conscience, but the other man's; for why is my freedom judged by another's conscience?30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I slandered concerning that for which I give thanks?

31 Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.32 Give no offense either to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God;33 just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit but the profit of the many, so that they may be saved.
