1 Koryntian 12

Dary Ducha

1 Przyjaciele, zależy mi na tym, abyście mieli rozeznanie w kwestii darów Ducha.

2 Kiedyś, jako poganie, nie mogliście się oderwać od niemych bożków.

3 Teraz jednak możecie być pewni, że będąc pod działaniem Bożego Ducha nikt nie może powiedzieć: „Niech Jezus będzie przeklęty”. Nikt też, bez pomocy Ducha Świętego, nie może z przekonaniem powiedzieć: „Jezus jest Panem”.

4 Różne są dary łaski Bożej, ale wszystkie pochodzą z tego samego źródła – od Ducha Świętego.

5 Różne są też rodzaje Bożej służby, ale istnieje tylko jeden Pan, któremu służymy.

6 Różne są też działania, ale jest tylko jeden Bóg, który sprawia wszystko i we wszystkich.

7 Każdy otrzymuje jakiś przejaw działania Ducha – dla wspólnego dobra.

8 Jednemu Duch daje słowa mądrości; drugiemu ten sam Duch daje słowa szczególnej wiedzy.

9 Inny otrzymuje od Ducha dar wyjątkowej wiary, jeszcze inny – dar uzdrawiania mocą tego samego Ducha.

10 Ktoś inny otrzymuje dar czynienia cudów, dar prorokowania, dar rozpoznawania duchów, dar mówienia obcymi językami, a jeszcze inny – dar tłumaczenia tych języków.

11 Wszystkie one pochodzą jednak od jednego i tego samego Ducha, który rozdziela dary zgodnie ze swoją wolą.

Ciało Chrystusa

12 Z Chrystusem jest podobnie, jak z naszym ciałem: mamy je jedno, ale części ciała jest wiele. A chociaż jest ich dużo, mimo to tworzą tylko jedno ciało.

13 W taki właśnie sposób my wszyscy zostaliśmy zanurzeni w jednym Duchu i zostaliśmy włączeni w jedno ciało – Żydzi i poganie, niewolnicy i wolni. Wszyscy zaczerpnęliśmy z jednego Ducha!

14 Ciało nie składa się z jednej części, ale z wielu!

15 Gdyby noga powiedziała: „Nie należę do ciała, bo nie jestem ręką”, to czy mimo wszystko nie należy do ciała?

16 A gdyby ucho rzekło: „Nie należę do ciała, bo nie jestem okiem”, to czy rzeczywiście nie należy do ciała?

17 Gdyby całe ciało było wzrokiem, gdzie byłby słuch? A gdyby było słuchem, gdzie byłby zmysł powonienia?

18 Bóg jednak umieścił je wszystkie w ciele – i uczynił to w sposób zgodny z Jego wolą.

19 Gdyby wszystkie części ciała były takie same, to jak wyglądałoby nasze ciało?

20 Na szczęście jednak istnieje wiele różnych części ciała – a wszystkie razem stanowią całość.

21 Oko nie może powiedzieć do ręki: „Nie potrzebuję cię”, ani głowa do nóg: „Nie jesteście mi potrzebne”.

22 Niektóre części, z pozoru najsłabsze, są w gruncie rzeczy bardzo ważne.

23 Większym szacunkiem darzymy też te części, które same z siebie wydają się być mało szlachetne. Wstydliwe części ciała natomiast chronimy szczególnie,

24 te zaś, których nie musimy okrywać, nie potrzebują takiego traktowania. Bóg tak ukształtował nasze ciało, aby słabsze części ciała otaczane były większą troską

25 i aby w ciele nie było konfliktu, ale aby jego poszczególne części wzajemnie się o siebie troszczyły.

26 I gdy cierpi jedna część ciała, cierpią z nią pozostałe. A jeśli jedną spotyka wyróżnienie, wszystkie pozostałe również się cieszą.

27 Wy jesteście ciałem Chrystusa! I jesteście dla siebie nawzajem częściami tego ciała!

28 Bóg najpierw umieścił w kościele apostołów, potem proroków, potem nauczycieli, następnie obdarzył niektórych darem czynienia cudów, darem uzdrawiania, darem niesienia innym pomocy, darem zarządzania lub darem języków.

29 Czy wszyscy są apostołami? Czy wszyscy są prorokami? Czy wszyscy są nauczycielami? Czy wszyscy mają dar czynienia cudów?

30 Czy wszyscy otrzymali dar uzdrawiania? Czy wszyscy mówią obcymi językami? Czy wszyscy potrafią je tłumaczyć?

31 Starajcie się o największe dary, ale ja pokażę wam coś jeszcze doskonalszego.

1 CORINTHIANS 12

Spiritual Gifts

1 My friends, you asked me about spiritual gifts. 2 I want you to remember that before you became followers of the Lord, you were led in all the wrong ways by idols that cannot even talk.

3 Now I want you to know that if you are led by God's Spirit, you will say that Jesus is Lord, and you will never curse Jesus.
4  t There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they all come from the same Spirit. 5 There are different ways to serve the same Lord,

6 and we can each do different things. Yet the same God works in all of us and helps us in everything we do.
7 The Spirit has given each of us a special way of serving others. 8 Some of us can speak with wisdom, while others can speak with knowledge, but these gifts come from the same Spirit. 9 To others the Spirit has given great faith or the power to heal the sick 10 or the power to work mighty miracles. Some of us are prophets, and some of us recognize when God's Spirit is present.t Others can speak different kinds of languages, and still others can tell what these languages mean.

11 But it is the Spirit who does all this and decides which gifts to give to each of us.

One Body with Many Parts

13 Some of us are Jews, and others are Gentiles. Some of us are slaves, and others are free. But God's Spirit baptized each of us and made us part of the body of Christ. Now we each drink from that same Spirit.t
14 Our bodies don't have just one part. They have many parts. 15 Suppose a foot says, “I'm not a hand, and so I'm not part of the body.” Wouldn't the foot still belong to the body? 16 Or suppose an ear says, “I'm not an eye, and so I'm not part of the body.” Wouldn't the ear still belong to the body? 17 If our bodies were only an eye, we couldn't hear a thing. And if they were only an ear, we couldn't smell a thing.

18 But God has put all parts of our body together in the way that he decided is best.
19 A body isn't really a body, unless there is more than one part. 20 It takes many parts to make a single body. 21 That's why the eyes cannot say they don't need the hands. That's also why the head cannot say it doesn't need the feet. 22 In fact, we cannot get along without the parts of the body that seem to be the weakest. 23 We take special care to dress up some parts of our bodies. We are modest about our personal parts,

24 but we don't have to be modest about other parts.
God put our bodies together in such a way that even the parts that seem the least important are valuable. 25 He did this to make all parts of the body work together smoothly, with each part caring about the others.

26 If one part of our body hurts, we hurt all over. If one part of our body is honored, the whole body will be happy.
27 Together you are the body of Christ. Each one of you is part of his body. 28 t First, God chose some people to be apostles and prophets and teachers for the church. But he also chose some to work miracles or heal the sick or help others or be leaders or speak different kinds of languages. 29 Not everyone is an apostle. Not everyone is a prophet. Not everyone is a teacher. Not everyone can work miracles. 30 Not everyone can heal the sick. Not everyone can speak different kinds of languages. Not everyone can tell what these languages mean. 31 I want you to desire the best gifts.t So I will show you a much better way.
