2 ความ_จริง_แล้ว คน_ที่_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_ได้_นั้น ไม่_ได้_พูด_กับ_มนุษย์_หรอก_แต่_พูด_กับ_พระเจ้า ไม่_มี_ใคร_เข้า_ใจ_ว่า_เขา_กำลัง_พูด_อะไร เพราะ_เขา_กำลัง_พูด_ถึง_สิ่ง_ลึกลับ_ผ่าน_ทาง_พระ_วิญญาณ

3 แต่_คน_ที่_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_นั้น_กำลัง_พูด_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_เสริม_สร้าง ให้_กำลัง_ใจ_และ_ปลอบ_ใจ_คน

4 คน_ที่_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_ได้_นั้น_ก็_เสริม_สร้าง_ตัวเอง แต่_คน_ที่_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_นั้น ก็_เสริม_สร้าง_ทั้ง_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

5 ผม_ก็_อยาก_ให้_พวก_คุณ_ทุก_คน_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_ได้ แต่_ยิ่งกว่า_นั้น_ผม_อยาก_ให้_พวก_คุณ_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_ได้ เพราะ_คน_ที่_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_นั้น_ยิ่ง_ใหญ่_กว่า_คน_ที่_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_ได้_เสีย_อีก นอก_จาก_ว่า_เขา_จะ_แปล_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_นั้น_ได้ เพื่อ_เขา_จะ_ได้_เสริม_สร้าง_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

6 พี่_น้อง_ครับ ถ้า_ผม_มาหา_พวก_คุณ_แล้ว_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_มัน_จะ_มี_ประโยชน์_อะไร_กับ_พวก_คุณ ถ้า_ผม_ไม่_ได้_เอา_สิ่ง_ที่_พระเจ้า_เปิดเผย_มา_บอก หรือ_ความ_รู้_พิเศษ_ที่_มา_จาก_พระเจ้า หรือ_มา_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า หรือ_เอา_คำ_สอน_มา_ให้

7 มัน_ก็_เหมือน_กับ_สิ่ง_ที่_ไม่_มี_ชีวิต_ที่_ทำ_ให้_เกิด_เสียง_ได้ เช่น ขลุ่ย หรือ พิณ ถ้า_เครื่อง_ดนตรี_นี้_ทำ_เสียง_ไม่_ชัด_เจน แล้ว_ใคร_จะ_ไป_รู้_ว่า_กำลัง_เล่น_เพลง_อะไร_อยู่

8 ถ้า_เสียง_ของ_แตร_รบ_ไม่_ชัด_เจน แล้ว_ใคร_จะ_เตรียม_ตัว_สู้_รบ

9 ก็_เหมือน_กัน ถ้า_พวก_คุณ_ไม่_ใช้_ภาษา_ที่_เข้า_ใจ_ง่ายๆ_ใคร_จะ_ไป_รู้_ว่า_คุณ_พูด_อะไร เหมือน_กับ_พูด_กับ_ลม

10 แน่_นอน_ว่า_ใน_โลก_นี้_มี_ตั้ง_หลาย_ภาษา และ_ทุก_ภาษา_ก็_ล้วน_มี_เสียง_ทั้ง_นั้น

11 ถ้า_ผม_ไม่_เข้า_ใจ_ความ_หมาย_ของ_เสียง_นั้น เรา_ก็_จะ_เป็น_คน_ต่างด้าว_ต่อ_กัน_เพราะ_คุย_กัน_ไม่_รู้_เรื่อง

12 พวก_คุณ_ก็_เหมือน_กัน คุณ_ใฝ่หา_อยาก_ได้_พรสวรรค์_จาก_พระ_วิญญาณ_เสีย_เหลือ_เกิน ก็_ให้_ใฝ่หา_พรสวรรค์_ต่างๆ_ที่_จะ_มา_ช่วย_เสริม_สร้าง_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

13 ด้วย_เหตุ_นี้ คน_ที่_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_ได้ ก็_ให้_ขอ_พระเจ้า_ให้_แปล_สิ่ง_ที่_พูด_ได้_ด้วย

14 เพราะ_ถ้า_ผม_อธิษฐาน_เป็น_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_จิต_วิญญาณ_ของ_ผม_อธิษฐาน_ก็_จริง แต่_สมอง_ของ_ผม_ไม่_เกิด_ผล_ที่_จะ_เป็น_ประโยชน์_กับ_ใคร_เลย

15 ถ้า_งั้น ผม_จะ_ทำ_อย่าง_ไร_ดี ผม_ก็_จะ_อธิษฐาน_ด้วย_จิต_วิญญาณ และ_ด้วย_สมอง ผม_ก็_จะ_ร้องเพลง_สรรเสริญ_ด้วย_จิต_วิญญาณ_และ_ด้วย_สมอง

16 เพราะ_ถ้า_คุณ_สรรเสริญ_พระเจ้า_ด้วย_จิต_วิญญาณ_เท่า_นั้น แล้ว_คน_ฟัง_ไม่_รู้_เรื่อง_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_คุณ_ขอบคุณ_พระเจ้า เขา_จะ_พูด_“อาเมน”_ได้_อย่าง_ไร

17 คุณ_อาจ_จะ_ขอบคุณ_ได้_ดี_ที_เดียว แต่_มัน_ไม่_ได้_เสริม_สร้าง_คน_อื่น_เลย

18 ผม_ขอบคุณ_พระเจ้า ที่_ผม_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_บ่อย_กว่า_พวก_คุณ

19 แต่_ใน_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า ผม_จะ_ใช้_สมอง_พูด_แค่_ห้า_คำ_ที่_เข้า_ใจ_ได้_เพื่อ_สอน_คน_อื่น ก็_ยัง_ดี_กว่า_พูด_สัก_หมื่น_คำ_เป็น_ภาษา_แปลกๆ

20 พี่_น้อง_ครับ เลิก_คิด_แบบ_เด็กๆ_ได้_แล้ว ใน_เรื่อง_ชั่ว_ๆ_นั้น_ให้_ไร้_เดียงสา_เหมือน_เด็ก_ทารก แต่_ใน_เรื่อง_ความ_คิด_ให้_เป็น_เหมือน_ผู้ใหญ่

21 เหมือน_กับ_ที่_มี_เขียน_ไว้_ใน_กฎ_ว่า

“องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_พูด_ไว้_ว่า เรา_จะ_ใช้_คน_ที่_พูด_ภาษา_อื่นๆ
เรา_จะ_ใช้_ริมฝีปาก_ของ_คน_ต่าง_ชาติ_พูด_กับ_คน_พวก_นี้
แต่_ถึง_อย่าง_ไร_พวก_เขา_ก็_จะ_ไม่_ฟัง_เรา”(อิสยาห์ 28:11-12)

22 ดัง_นั้น การ_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_นั้น จึง_เป็น_ลาง_ร้ายt_สำหรับ_คน_ที่_ไม่_เชื่อ ไม่_ใช่_สำหรับ_คน_ที่_เชื่อ แต่_การ_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_นั้น_มี_ไว้_สำหรับ_คน_ที่_เชื่อ ไม่_ใช่_สำหรับ_คน_ที่_ไม่_เชื่อ

23 ดัง_นั้น_ถ้า_ทั้ง_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า_มา_รวม_กัน และ_ทุก_คน_ก็_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_เมื่อ_มี_คน_นอก_หรือ_คน_ที่_ไม่_เชื่อ_เข้า_มา พวก_เขา_จะ_ไม่_คิด_ว่า_พวก_คุณ_เป็น_บ้า_ไป_หมด_แล้ว_หรือ

24 แต่_ถ้า_ทุก_คน_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_เมื่อ_คน_ที่_ไม่_เชื่อ_หรือ_คน_นอก_เข้า_มา สิ่ง_ที่_คุณ_พูด_ก็_จะ_ทำ_ให้_เขา_รู้ตัว_ว่า_เป็น_คน_บาป_และ_เขา_จะ_ถูก_ตัดสิน_ตาม_ที่_คุณ_ได้_พูด_นั้น

25 แล้ว_ความ_ลับ_ต่างๆ_ใน_ใจ_เขา_จะ_ถูก_แฉ_ออก_มา_จน_หมด แล้ว_เขา_ก็_จะ_ก้ม_กราบ_ลง_นมัสการ_พระเจ้า_และ_พูด_ว่า “พระเจ้า_อยู่_กับ_พวก_คุณ_จริงๆ”

การ_ประชุม_ของ_คุณ_ควร_จะ_เสริม_สร้าง_//หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

26 พี่_น้อง_ครับ แล้ว_เรา_จะ_ทำ_อย่าง_ไร_ดี เมื่อ_พวก_คุณ_มา_ประชุม_กัน บางคน_ก็_มี_เพลง_สรรเสริญ บางคน_ก็_มี_คำ_สั่งสอน บางคน_ก็_มี_สิ่ง_ที่_พระเจ้า_เปิดเผย_ให้_รู้ บางคน_ก็_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ บางคน_ก็_แปล_ภาษา_พวก_นั้น_ได้ ก็_ให้_ทำ_สิ่ง_เหล่า_นี้_ทั้ง_หมด_เพื่อ_เสริม_สร้าง_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

27 ถ้า_จะ_มี_การ_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ_ก็_ขอ_ให้_พูด_แค่_สอง_หรือ_สาม_คน_เป็น_อย่าง_มาก และ_ให้_พูด_ที_ละ_คน และ_ให้_มี_การ_แปล_ด้วย

28 ถ้า_ไม่_มี_คน_แปล_ได้ ก็_ให้_คน_ที่_พูด_นั้น_เงียบ_เสีย_ใน_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า ให้_เขา_พูด_กับ_พระเจ้า_เป็น_การ_ส่วน_ตัว

29 ส่วน_พวก_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า ก็_ให้_สอง_หรือ_สาม_คน_พูด และ_ให้_คน_อื่น_แยก_แยะ_ว่า_สิ่ง_ที่_พวก_เขา_พูด_นั้น_มา_จาก_พระเจ้า_หรือ_เปล่า

30 ถ้า_พระเจ้า_เปิดเผย_อะไร_กับ_คน_ที่_นั่ง_อยู่ ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_คน_แรก_ก็_ควร_จะ_เงียบ_ก่อน

31 เพราะ_พวก_คุณ_ทุก_คน จะ_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_ได้_ที_ละ_คน_เท่า_นั้น เพื่อ_ทุก_คน_จะ_ได้_เรียนรู้_จาก_สิ่ง_ที่_พูด_นั้น และ_จะ_ได้_มี_กำลัง_ใจ_ขึ้น

32 ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_นั้น_สามารถ_บังคับ_วิญญาณ_ของ_ตัวเอง_ได้

33 เพราะ_พระเจ้า_ไม่_ได้_เป็น_พระเจ้า_แห่ง_ความ_วุ่นวาย แต่_เป็น_พระเจ้า_แห่ง_สันติสุข เหมือน_กับ_ที่_พระองค์_เป็น_ใน_ที่ประชุม_ทุก_แห่ง_ของ_คน_ของ_พระเจ้า

34 พวก_ผู้หญิงt_ควร_จะ_อยู่_เงียบๆ_ใน_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า เพราะ_พวก_เขา_ไม่_ได้_รับ_อนุญาต_ให้_พูด_สอด_แทรก_ขึ้น_มา_อยู่_เรื่อยๆ_แต่_ให้_อยู่_ใน_ระเบียบ_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_กฎ_บอก_ไว้

35 ถ้า_พวก_เขา_อยาก_รู้_อะไร ก็_ให้_ไป_ถาม_สามี_ที่_บ้าน เพราะ_มัน_เป็น_เรื่อง_น่า_อาย_ที่_ผู้หญิง_จะ_พูด_สอด_แทรก_ขึ้น_มา_อยู่_เรื่อยๆ_ใน_ที่ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า

36 คุณ_คิด_ว่า_ถ้อย_คำ_ของ_พระเจ้า_เกิด_มา_จาก_พวก_คุณ_หรือ หรือ_มี_แต่_พวก_คุณ_เท่า_นั้น_ที่_ได้_รับ_ถ้อย_คำ_นี้

37 ถ้า_มี_ใคร_คิด_ว่า_ตัวเอง_เป็น_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_หรือ_คน_ที่_มี_พระ_วิญญาณ_อยู่ คนๆ_นั้น_จะ_ต้อง_ยอมรับ_ว่า สิ่ง_ที่_ผม_เขียน_มา_ให้_พวก_คุณ_นี้_เป็น_คำ_สั่ง_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต

38 ถ้า_ใคร_ไม่_ยอมรับ_คำ_สั่ง_นี้ พระเจ้า_ก็_จะ_ไม่_ยอมรับ_พวก_เขา_เหมือน_กัน

39 ดัง_นั้น_พี่_น้อง_ครับ ให้_ใฝ่หา_ที่_จะ_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า และ_อย่า_ไป_ห้าม_คน_ที่_พูด_ภาษา_แปลกๆ

40 แต่_ให้_ทำ_ทุก_อย่าง_นี้ อย่าง_เหมาะ_สม_และ_เป็น_ระเบียบ

1 Corinthians 14

Prophecy a Superior Gift

1 Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.3 But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.4 One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church.5 Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy; and greater is one who prophesies than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edifying.

6 But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what will I profit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation or of knowledge or of prophecy or of teaching?7 Yet even lifeless things, either flute or harp, in producing a sound, if they do not produce a distinction in the tones, how will it be known what is played on the flute or on the harp?8 For if the bugle produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle?9 So also you, unless you utter by the tongue speech that is clear, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air.10 There are, perhaps, a great many kinds of languages in the world, and no kind is without meaning.11 If then I do not know the meaning of the language, I will be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who speaks will be a barbarian to me.12 So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church.

13 Therefore let one who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret.14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.15 What is the outcome then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also.16 Otherwise if you bless in the spirit only, how will the one who fills the place of the ungifted say the "Amen" at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?17 For you are giving thanks well enough, but the other person is not edified.18 I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all;19 however, in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind so that I may instruct others also, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.

Instruction for the Church

20 Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature.21 In the Law it is written, "BY MEN OF STRANGE TONGUES AND BY THE LIPS OF STRANGERS I WILL SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE, AND EVEN SO THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO ME," says the Lord.22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign, not to unbelievers but to those who believe.23 Therefore if the whole church assembles together and all speak in tongues, and ungifted men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad?24 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.

26 What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret;28 but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God.29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment.30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent.31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted;32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets;33 for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

34 The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says.35 If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.36 Was it from you that the word of God first went forth? Or has it come to you only?

37 If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord's commandment.38 But if anyone does not recognize this, he tis not recognized.

39 Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.40 But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.
