コリント人への第一の手紙 15

一五

1 さて、皆さん、良い知らせとはほんとうは何なのか、思い出してほしいのです。　というのも、それは少しも変質していず、以前あなたがたに宣べ伝えた良い知らせと同じものだからです。　あなたがたは、それを喜んで受け入れました。　そして今に至っています。　信仰が、このすばらしい知らせにしっかり根ざしているからです。　2 もし初めにいい加減な気持ちでその良い知らせを信じたのでなく、今もなお、それを堅く信じているのなら、この良い知らせは、あなたがたを救ってくれるのです。
3 私はまず第一に、かつて自分も知らされた、次のことを伝えました。　すなわち、キリスト様は、聖書に記されているとおり、私たちの罪のために死なれ、　4 葬られたこと、そして預言者たちの予告どおりに、三日目に墓の中から復活されたことです。　5 キリスト様はペテロに姿を現わし、そのあと「十二弟子」の残りの者の前にも立たれました。　6 そしてある時には、五百人以上のクリスチャンの前にも、姿をお見せになったのです。　その中の何人かはもう死にましたが、大部分は今も健在です。　7 それから、キリスト様はヤコブに、そして使徒たち全員に現われました。　8 そして最後に、未熟児みたいな私の前にも現われてくださったのです。　9 私は、使徒の中では一番ちっぽけな者であり、使徒と呼ばれる資格さえない者です。　神の教会の迫害者だったのですから。
10 しかし、今の私があるのは、ただひとえに、あふれるほどに注がれた神様の恵みと、あわれみとのおかげです。　この恵みとあわれみは、むだではありませんでした。　なぜなら、私はほかのどの使徒たちよりも、よく働いてきたからです。　とはいえ、実際に働いたのは私ではありません。　神様が私の内部で働き、祝福してくださったのです。　11 一番よく働いたのが、私であろうとだれであろうと、そんなことは問題ではありません。　大切なのは、私たちが良い知らせを宣べ伝え、あなたがたが、それを信じたという事実です。
12 しかし、これだけは言わせてください。　私たちが伝えたとおり、あなたがたが、キリスト様の死からの復活を信じているのなら、なぜ、「死んだ者は二度と生き返らない」と言ったりする人が出るのですか。　13 もし死人の復活がないなら、キリスト様は、今も死んだままのはずです。　14 もしそれが事実なら、私たちが宣べ伝えていることはすべてむだであり、神様に対するあなたがたの信頼もむなしく、価値のない、絶望的なものとなるのです。　15 そして、使徒はみな、うそつきということになります。　なぜなら、「神様はキリスト様を、墓から復活させられた」という私たちの主張は、もし死人の復活がないのなら、当然、うそになるからです。　16 もし死人が復活しないのなら、キリスト様は、今なお死んだまま、ということになります。　17 そして、神様が救ってくださると信じ続けることは、全くばかげており、あなたがたは、今なお有罪宣告を受けたまま、ということになります。　18 また、すでに死んだクリスチャンは、みな、滅んでしまったことになります。　19 もしクリスチャンであることが、この世の生活でしか価値がないのなら、私たちほどみじめな者はありません。
20 しかし、事実、キリスト様は死人の中から復活しました。　そして、復活が約束されている何千万何百万もの人の、復活第一号となられたのです。
21 一人の人〔アダム〕の行為によって、死がこの世に入って来ました。　そして、このもう一人の人〔キリスト〕の行為によって、今や、死人の復活は事実となったのです。　22 人はみな、罪深いアダムの子孫として、その血縁のために、死ななければなりません。　罪のあるところには、その結果として、死もあるのです。　しかし、キリスト様と血縁関係にある者はみな、やがて復活します。　23 ただし、順番があります。　最初にキリスト様が復活なさいました。　次に、キリスト様が帰って来られる時に、彼に属する全員が復活します。
24 そのあとで、終わりが来ます。　その時、キリスト様はあらゆる敵を滅ぼし、国を父なる神にお渡しになります。　25 王としてキリスト様が支配なさるのは、敵を全滅させる時までだからです。　26 その敵の中には、最終の敵である死も入っています。　死もまた、打ち破られ、とどめを刺されなければならないのです。　27 というのは、キリスト様には、すべてのものを支配する権威が、父なる神から授けられているからです。　ただ、すべてのものと言っても、この支配権をお授けになった父なる神だけは、もちろんキリスト様の支配下に含まれません。　28 キリスト様は、ついにあらゆる敵との戦いに勝利を収めると、神の子として、自分を父なる神の支配におゆだねになります。　それは、子にすべてを征服する力をお授けになった神様が、最終的に、最高の存在となられるためです。
29 もし死人の復活がないのなら、死んだ人のためにバプテスマ（洗礼）を受ける人たちには、何の意味があるのですか。　将来の死人の復活を信じてもいないのに、どうしてそんなことをするでしょう。
30 また、なぜ私たちは、いつも死に直面し、いのちの危険にさらされるのに、甘んじているのでしょうか。　31 事実、私は毎日、死に直面しています。　このことは、あなたがたの主にある成長を、私が誇るのと同じように、確かなことです。　32 もし私が、この地上の生涯のために、野獣――それはエペソの人たちのことですが――と戦ったのだとしたら、どれだけの価値があるでしょう。　死後の復活などありえないのなら、「大いに飲み食いして、愉快に過ごそう。　文句があるか。　どうせ明日は死ぬ身だ。　死ねば、何もかもおしまいなのだ」ということになります。
33 そう言う人たちにだまされてはいけません。　それに耳を傾けていると、同じ状態に陥ってしまいます。　34 目を覚まして、罪を犯すのをやめなさい。　恥をかかせるつもりで、あえて申しますが、あなたがたの中には、神様について実際には何も知らない、全くクリスチャンらしくない人がいます。
35 しかし、こう聞く人もいるでしょう。　「死人は、どのように復活するのですか。　どんな体になるのですか。」　36 なんとばからしい質問でしょう。　畑を見れば、わかるではありませんか。　まいた種は、まず死ななければ、芽を出しません。　37 そして、その種から出る緑の芽は、初めの種とは全く別物です。　土にまくのは、麦でも何でも、干からびた小さな種粒だからです。　38 ところが神様は、その種に、それぞれにふさわしい、美しく新しい体を与えてくださいます。　それで、いろいろな種類の種から、それぞれ植物が生長してくるのです。　39 いろいろな種類の種や植物があるように、肉にもいろいろな種類があります。　人間、獣、鳥、魚は、それぞれみな異なっています。
40 天の御使いは、私たちとは全く異なった体を持っています。　その美しさや栄光は、人間の体の美しさや栄光とは異なっています。41 太陽には太陽の栄光があり、月や星には別の栄光があります。　一つ一つの星にも、美しさや輝きに違いがあります。
42 同じように、死んだら朽ち果てる、私たちの地上の体は、復活の時に与えられる体とは異なったものです。　復活の体は決して死にません。　43 今の体は、病気や死で、私たちを悩まします。　しかし、復活の時には、それは栄光に満ちたものとなるのです。　確かに、今は死ぬべき弱い体ですが、復活の時には、力にあふれた体となるのです。　44 今は死ぬべき人間の体にすぎませんが、復活の時には、神様から与えられる超自然の体になります。　自然のままの人体があるように、神様からの超自然の体も存在するのです。
45 旧約聖書には、「最初の人アダムは、自然のままの人間の体を与えられた」と書いてあります。　しかし、キリスト様は、アダムより、はるかにまさった方です。　なぜなら、いのちを与える方となられたからです。
46 初めはこのような体をまとっている私たちに、後には、神様が天上の体を下さるのです。　47 アダムは地上の土から造られた者ですが、キリスト様は天から来られた方です。　48 人間はだれでも、アダムと同じ土の体を持っています。　しかし、キリスト様のものとなった人はみな、キリスト様と同じ、天から与えられる体を、持つようになるのです。　49 今アダムと同じ体を持っている私たちは、そのように、いつの日かキリスト様と同じ体を持つのです。
50 愛する皆さん。　念を押しておきます。　地上の、血と肉の体は、神の国から閉め出されます。　今の私たちの体は死ぬべきもので、永遠に生きることはできません。　51 しかし、ここで驚くべきことを告げましょう。　それは、神様のすばらしい特別の計画です。　私たちは全滅するのではありません。　新しい体をいただくのです。　52 終わりのラッパが鳴り渡る時、一瞬のうちに、そうなるのです。　天からラッパの音が響くと、死んでいたすべてのクリスチャンは、たちまち、絶対に死なない、新しい体に復活します。　次に、まだ生き残っている私たちもまた、一瞬にして、新しい体に変わるのです。　53 なぜなら、地上の、死ぬべき今の体は、天上の、決して死ぬことのない、永遠に生きる体に変えられなければならないからです。
54 この時、「死は勝利にのみ込まれた」という旧約聖書のことばが、現実となるのです。
55-56 「死よ。　おまえの勝利はどこにあるのか。
死よ。　おまえのとげはどこにあるのか。」
罪、すなわち死をもたらすとげは、ことごとく切り取られます。　そして、罪をあばくおきても、もはや私たちをさばきません。　57 これらすべてのゆえに、どう神様に感謝したらよいでしょう。　神様は、主イエス・キリストによって、私たちに勝利を与えてくださるのです。
58 そこで愛する皆さん、このように将来の勝利は確実なのですから、しっかり立って、動揺することなく、いつも、主の働きに熱心に励みなさい。　なぜなら、復活は確かであり、主のための働きが、決してむだ骨に終わらないことを、あなたがたは知っているからです。

1 Corinthians 15

1 Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand,2 by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except ye believed in vain.3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;4 and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures;5 and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve;6 then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep;7 then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;8 and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he appeared to me also.9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.11 Whether then it be I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.12 Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither hath Christ been raised:14 and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain.15 Yea, we are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead are not raised, neither hath Christ been raised:17 and if Christ hath not been raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.18 Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.19 If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.20 But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming.24 Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.27 For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.29 Else what shall they do that are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?30 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?31 I protest by that glorifying in you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.32 If after the manner of men I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.33 Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.34 Awake to soberness righteously, and sin not; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak this to move you to shame.35 But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come?36 Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die:37 and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;38 but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:43 it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:44 it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.45 So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46 Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.54 But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?56 The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
