Ang Mahitungod sa Pagkabanhaw ni Cristo

1 Mga igsoon, gusto kong ipahinumdom kaninyo ang Maayong Balita nga akong giwali kaninyo. Kini gidawat ninyo ug hangtod karon inyong gibarogan.2 Pinaagi niining Maayong Balita maluwas kamo, kon huptan ninyog maayo ang akong giwali kaninyo. Kon dili, mahimong walay pulos ang inyong pagtuo.3 Gitudlo ko kaninyo ang labing mahinungdanon nga mga butang nga akong natun-an: nga si Jesu-Cristo namatay aron maluwas kita sa silot tungod sa atong mga sala. Ug kini sumala sa Kasulatan.4 Gilubong siya ug nabanhaw sa ikatulo ka adlaw, sumala usab sa Kasulatan.5  Nagpakita siya una kang Pedro ug unya sa uban pa sa dose ka mga apostoles 6 Pagkahuman nagpakita usab siya sa kapin 500 ka mga sumusunod nga nagtigom. Ug kadaghanan kanila buhi pa apan ang uban patay na.

7 Nagpakita usab siya kang Santiago ug dayon sa tanang mga apostoles.
8 Sa kataposan nagpakita usab siya kanako. Daw sama ako sa usa ka bata nga natawo sa dili insakto nga panahon.9 Ako ang labing ubos sa mga apostoles ug dili gani ako takos nga tawgon nga apostol, tungod kay gilutos ko ang mga tumutuo sa Dios.10 Apan tungod sa grasya sa Dios kanako, karon apostol na ako. Ug walay makaingon nga walay pulos ang grasya sa Dios kanako, tungod kay ang tinuod, mas labaw ang akong paghago kon itandi sa akong kaubang mga apostoles. Apan kana dili tungod sa akong kaugalingon, kondili tungod sa grasya ug tabang sa Dios.

11 Apan walay kalainan kon ako o sila ang nagatudlo, ang mahinungdanon nga pareho ang among giwali ug pareho usab ang inyong gituohan.

Ang Pagkabanhaw sa mga Nagatuo sa Dios

12 Kon among giwali kaninyo nga gibanhaw si Cristo, nganong ang uban kaninyo nagaingon nga walay pagkabanhaw sa mga patay?13 Kon tinuod nga walay pagkabanhaw sa mga patay nagakahulogan nga si Cristo wala usab mabanhaw.14 Ug kon wala mabanhaw si Cristo, walay kapuslanan ang among pagwali, ug wala usay kapuslanan ang inyong pagtuo.15 Dili lang kana, mogawas nga bakak ang among gisulti mahitungod sa Dios, kay nagasulti man kami nga gibanhaw niya si Cristo.16 Apan kon walay pagkabanhaw sa mga patay, wala siya mabanhaw.17 Ug kon wala mabanhaw si Cristo, ang inyong pagtuo walay kapuslanan ug wala pa kamo mapasaylo sa inyong mga sala.18 Ug magkahulogan usab nga ang mga tumutuo ni Cristo nga nangamatay na, wala usab maluwas.

19 Kon ang atong paglaom isip Kristohanon alang lang sa atong kinabuhi dinhi sa kalibotan, kita gayod ang labing makalulooy sa tanan.
20 Apan ang tinuod, nabanhaw si Cristo gikan sa kamatayon ug mao kini ang nagapamatuod nga banhawon gayod ang mga patay.21  Tungod sa usa ka tawo nga si Adan ang kamatayon miabot sa tanang mga tawo. Ug tungod usab sa usa ka tawo nga si Cristo ang mga patay mabanhaw.22 Kon ang tanang tawo mamatay tungod sa atong relasyon kang Adan, tungod usab sa atong relasyon kang Cristo kitang tanan mabanhaw.23 May iya-iya nga panahon ang pagkabanhaw. Ang una gayod nga nabanhaw mao si Cristo. Pagkahuman, pagbalik niya dinhi sa kalibotan, mabanhaw usab ang iyang katawhan.24 Ug dayon moabot ang kataposan. Walaon niya ang tanan nga paghari, pagdumala, ug paggahom, ug itugyan niya ang paghari ngadto sa Dios nga Amahan.25 Kay si Cristo kinahanglan pa nga maghari hangtod nga mapildi niya ang tanan nga nagabatok kaniya.26 Ang kataposang kaaway nga walaon mao ang kamatayon.27  add Ang Kasulatan nagaingon nga si Cristo gipahari sa Dios sa tanan. + 15:27 Tan-awa usab ang Salmo 8:6. Hinuon wala kini magkahulogan nga apil ang Dios nga maoy naghatag ug katungod kang Cristo sa paghari sa tanan.

28  Kondili, kon ang tanan anaa na ilalom sa paggahom ni Cristo, si Cristo nga Anak sa Dios magpasakop usab sa Dios nga maoy naghatag kaniyag katungod sa paghari sa tanan, aron ang Dios mao na ang mogahom sa tanan.
29 Adunay mga tawo nga nagpabautismo alang sa mga namatay. Unsay kapuslanan sa ilang gibuhat kon ugaling ang mga patay dili banhawon?30 Ug unsay among makuha sa kanunayng pagbutang sa among kinabuhi sa kakuyaw.31 Kon unsa ka tinuod nga gipasigarbo ko kamo sa atong paghiusa kang Cristo Jesus nga atong Ginoo, mao usab ka tinuod nga giatubang ko kada adlaw ang kakuyaw sa kamatayon.

32  Nalisdan gayod ako dinhi sa Efeso, tungod kay ang mga tawo nga nagabatok kanako sama sa mabangis nga mga mananap. Busa kon ang mga patay dili banhawon, unsa may akong makuha sa mga pag-antos nga sama niini? Kon ang mga patay dili banhawon, mas maayo pa nga sundon na lang nato ang panultihon nga nagaingon, + 15:32 Tan-awa usab ang Isa. 22:13.
33  Ayaw kamo pagtuo niana, kay kana nga panultihon panglingla + 15:33 panglingla: Sa uban nga binisaya panglinla. lang. Hinuon, tuohi ninyo ang panultihon nga nagaingon,

34 Pagtinarong na kamo ug biyai na ninyo ang pagpakasala. Gisulti ko kini kaninyo aron maulaw kamo kay ang uban kaninyo sayop ang pag-ila sa Dios.

Ang Lawas nga Nabanhaw

35 Kon adunay mangutana kon unsaon pagkabanhaw sa mga patay ug kon unsang matang sa lawas ang ilang maangkon,36 ania ang akong tubag nianang tawo nga wala gayoy nahibaloan: kon magtanom kita ug usa ka binhi sa yuta, kana nga binhi madunot una ayha motubo.37 Ug bisan unsa nga binhi ang imong itanom, kon motubo na gani, lahi na ang hitsura niini kaysa dihang imo kining gitanom.

38 Ang hitsura niini sumala man sa pagbuot sa Dios. Ug ang matag matang sa binhi adunay kaugalingon nga hitsura kon motubo.

39 Mao man usab ang lawas sa tanang dunay kinabuhi, kay ang mga lawas dili managsama. Lahi ang lawas sa tawo ug lahi usab ang sa mga mananap, lahi ang lawas sa mga langgam, ug lahi pa gayod ang sa mga isda.
40 Nagkalain-lain ang gibuhat sa Dios dinhi sa yuta ug didto sa langit, ug ang tanan nga iyang gibuhat matahom. Apan managlahi ang ilang katahom. Ang katahom sa mga butang didto sa langit lahi sa katahom sa mga butang dinhi sa yuta.41 Lahi ang katahom sa adlaw, ug lahi usab ang katahom sa bulan. Ang mga bituon may kaugalingon usab nga katahom. Ug bisan pa gani ang mga bituon may nagkalain-lain nga katahom.42 Ingon niana kon banhawon na ang mga patay. Ang atong lawas karon madunot, apan kon mabanhaw na, dili na gayod kini madunot bisan kanus-a.43 Ang atong lawas karon huyang ug dili makahatag ug dungog, apan kon banhawon na, kini mahimong lig-on ug dungganon.44 Ang atong lawas karon yutan-on, apan kon banhawon na, kini mahimo nang langitnon. Tungod kay kon may yutan-on nga lawas may langitnon usab nga lawas.45  Kay ang Kasulatan nagaingon, + 15:45 Tan-awa usab ang Gen. 2:7. Apan ang ulahi nga Adan nga mao si Cristo gihatagan sa espiritu nga nagahatag ug kinabuhi.46 Dili ang langitnon nga lawas ang nauna kondili ang yutan-on nga lawas, ug dayon mosunod ang langitnon nga lawas.47 Ang unang tawo nga si Adan yutan-on. Gibuhat siya gikan sa yuta. Apan ang ikaduhang tawo nga mao si Cristo gikan sa langit.48 Ang mga lawas nga yutan-on sama gayod sa lawas sa tawong gibuhat gikan sa yuta, apan ang mga lawas nga langitnon sama gayod sa lawas niadtong naggikan sa langit.

49 Busa ingon nga ang atong lawas nahisama sa lawas ni Adan nga gikan sa yuta, moabot gayod ang adlaw nga ang atong lawas mahisama usab kang Cristo nga gikan sa langit.

50 Mga igsoon, ang buot kong ipasabot mao kini: kining atong lawas nga yutan-on dili mahimo nga makapanunod sa Gingharian sa Dios. Ug kining lawas nga madunot dili makapanunod sa kinabuhi nga walay kataposan.
51 Paminaw kamo kay sultihan ko kamo niini nga tinago: dili kitang tanan mamatay, apan tanan kita, ang atong lawas, bag-ohon sa Dios.52 Kini kalit kaayo nga mahitabo, sama kakalit sa usa ka pagpamilok. Kay sa pagtingog sa kataposang trumpeta, ang mga patay banhawon dayon ug hatagan sa lawas nga dili na madunot. Ug kita nga buhi pa, bag-ohon usab ang atong mga lawas.53 Tungod kay kining lawas nga madunot ug mamatay kinahanglan nga ilisan sa lawas nga dili na madunot ug dili na mamatay.54  Busa kon kining lawas nga madunot mailisan na sa dili madunot, ug kon kining lawas nga mamatay mailisan na sa dili mamatay, matuman na ang ginaingon sa Kasulatan, + 15:54 Tan-awa usab ang Isa. 25:8. 56 Ang kamatayon may gahom lang kanato tungod sa sala, ug may gahom ang sala tungod kay may Kasugoan.57 Apan salamat sa Dios tungod kay pinaagi sa atong Ginoong Jesu-Cristo gihatagan niya kita ug kadaogan nianang mga butanga.58  Busa, mga hinigugma ko nga mga igsoon kang Cristo, pagpakalig-on kamo ug dili gayod matarog sa inyong pagtuo. Pagmakugihon kamo sa buluhaton nga gihatag kaninyo sa Ginoo, kay nasayod kamo nga may kapuslanan gayod ang inyong mga paghago alang sa Ginoo.

Christ’s Resurrection

1 Now I want to make clear for you,t brothers and sisters,t the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand,2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message I preached to you – unless you believed in vain.3 For I passed on to you as of first importancet what I also received – that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,4 and that he was buried, and that he was raisedt on the third day according to the scriptures,5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisterst at one time, most of whom are still alive,t though some have fallen asleep.t7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.8 Last of all, as though to one born at the wrong time,s he appeared to me also.9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been in vain. In fact, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

11 Whether then it was I or they, this is the way we preach and this is the way you believed.

No Resurrection?

12 Now if Christ is being preached as raised from the dead,t how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead?13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is futile and your faith is empty.15 Also, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified against God that he raised Christ from the dead, when in reality he did not raise him, if indeed the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised.17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins.18 Furthermore, those who have fallen asleept in Christ have also perished.

19 For if only in this life we have hope in Christ, we should be pitied more than anyone.
20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.21 For since death came through a man,t the resurrection of the dead also came through a man.t22 For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.23 But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him.t24 Thent comes the end,t when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power.25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.26 The last enemy to be eliminated is death.27 For he has put everything in subjection under his feet.s But when it says “everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the one who put everything in subjection to him.

28 And when all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.
29 Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead?s If the dead are not raised at all, then why are they baptized for them?30 Why too are we in danger every hour?31 Every day I am in danger of death! This is as sure ast my boasting in you,s which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.32 If from a human point of view I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus,s what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.s33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”s

34 Sober up as you should, and stop sinning! For some have no knowledge of God – I say this to your shame!

The Resurrection Body

35 But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”36 Fool! What you sow will not come to life unless it dies.37 And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare seedt – perhaps of wheat or something else.38 But God gives it a body just as he planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.39 All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another.t40 And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. The glory of the heavenly body is one sort and the earthly another.

41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for star differs from star in glory.
42 It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable.t43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.45 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”;t the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46 However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.47 The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.48 Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly.

49 And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bears the image of the man of heaven.
50 Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters:t Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.51 Listen,t I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep,st but we will all be changed –52 in a moment, in the blinkingt of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

54 Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen,
“Death has been swallowed up in victory.”s

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”s
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

58 So then, dear brothers and sisters,t be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
