Învierea lui Cristos

1 Fraților, vă reamintesc Evanghelia pe care v-am vestit-o, pe care ați primit-o, în care ați rămas2 și prin care sunteți mântuiți dacă rămâneți fermi în cuvântul pe care vi l-am vestit; altfel ați crezut degeaba.3 Ceea ce v-am dat ca fiind de primă importanță este ceea ce eu, la rândul meu, am primit: anume că Cristos a murit pentru păcatele noastre, potrivit Scripturilor,4 că a fost îngropat, că a fost înviat a treia zi, potrivit Scripturilor,5 că i S-a arătat lui Chifa și apoi celor doisprezece6 și că, după aceea, li S-a arătat la peste cinci sute de frați deodată, dintre care cei mai mulți încă trăiesc, iar unii au adormitt.7 După aceea i S-a arătat lui Iacov, apoi tuturor apostolilor.8 Ultimului dintre toți, ca unuia născut înainte de vreme, mi S-a arătat și mie.9 Căci eu sunt cel mai neînsemnat dintre apostoli; eu nu sunt vrednic să fiu numit apostol, pentru că am persecutat biserica lui Dumnezeu,10 însă prin harul lui Dumnezeu sunt ceea ce sunt, iar harul Lui față de mine n-a fost fără rezultat, ci am trudit mai mult decât oricare dintre ei, dar nu eu, ci harul lui Dumnezeu care este cu mine.11 Deci – fie eu, fie ei – noi așa predicăm, iar voi așa ați crezut.

Învierea morților

12 Dar dacă se predică faptul că Cristos a fost înviat din morți, cum pot spune unii dintre voi că nu există învierea morților?13 Dacă nu există o înviere a morților, nici Cristos nu a fost înviat.14 Dar dacă Cristos n-a fost înviat, atunci predicarea noastră este zadarnică și, de asemenea, și credința voastră este zadarnică.15 Mai mult decât atât, noi suntem găsiți ca depunând o mărturie falsă despre Dumnezeu, pentru că am depus mărturie că Dumnezeu L-a înviat pe Cristos, pe Care, dacă este adevărat că morții nu învie, nu L-a înviat.16 Dacă morții nu învie, nici Cristos n-a fost înviat,17 iar dacă Cristos n-a fost înviat, atunci credința voastră este zadarnică, iar voi sunteți încă în păcatele voastre.18 Atunci și cei care au murit în Cristos sunt pierduți.19 Dacă numai pentru viața aceasta am nădăjduit în Cristos, atunci suntem cei mai de plâns dintre oameni!

20 Dar Cristos a fost înviat din morți, El fiind primul rod dintre cei care au adormit.21 Întrucât moartea a venit printr-un om, învierea morților a venit tot printr-un Om.22 Așa cum în Adam toți mor, la fel, în Cristos, toți vor fi înviați,23 însă fiecare la rândul lui; primul rod este Cristos, apoi, la venirea Lui, cei ai lui Cristos.24 Apoi va veni sfârșitul, când El îi va încredința Împărăția lui Dumnezeu Tatăl, după ce va fi distrus orice conducător, orice autoritate și orice putere.25 Căci El trebuie să domnească până când îi va pune pe toți vrăjmașii sub picioarele Sale.26 Ultimul vrăjmaș care va fi distrus va fi moartea.27 Căci El „I-a pus totul sub picioare“t. Dar când se spune că toate I-au fost supuse, este evident că aceasta nu-L include pe Cel Ce I le-a supus pe toate.28 Când toate lucrurile Îi vor fi fost supuse, atunci Însuși Fiul I Se va supune Celui Ce I-a supus toate lucrurile, pentru ca Dumnezeu să fie totul în toți.

29 Altfel, ce vor face cei care se botează pentru cei morțit? Dacă morții nu sunt înviați nicidecum, de ce mai sunt botezați ei pentru cei morți ?30 Și de ce suntem noi în pericol tot timpul?31 Sunt în pericol de m oarte în fiecare zi. Acest lucru este cert, fraților, întocmai ca lauda pe care o am cu voi în Cristos Isus, Domnul nostru.

32 Dacă doar din motive omenești m-am luptat cu fiarele în Efes, ce-am câștigat, dacă morții nu învie?
„Să mâncăm și să bem,
căci mâine vom muri!“t

33 Nu vă înșelați: „Tovărășiile rele strică obiceiurile bune.t“

34 Veniți-vă în fire cum se cuvine și nu mai păcătuiți; căci sunt unii care trăiesc în ignoranță față de Dumnezeu. Spre rușinea voastră o spun.

Învierea în trup

35 Cineva ar putea întreba: „Cum învie morții? Cu ce fel de trup vor veni?“36 Ce nebunie! Ceea ce tu semeni, nu vine la viață dacă nu moare,37 iar ceea ce semeni nu este trupul care va fi, ci doar o sămânță simplă, ca una de grâu sau de altceva.38 Însă Dumnezeu îi dă fiecărei semințe un trup, așa cum dorește; fiecărei semințe îi dă trupul ei.39 Nu toate trupurile sunt la fel: unul este trupul oamenilor, altul este trupul animalelor, altul al păsărilor, altul al peștilor.40 Există trupuri cerești și trupuri pământești. Există o splendoare a celor cerești și un alt fel de splendoare a celor pământești.41 Alta este splendoarea soarelui, alta este splendoarea lunii și alta este splendoarea stelelor, iar o stea diferă de alta în splendoare.

42 La fel este și cu învierea morților. Ceea ce este semănat în putrezire, este înviat în nemurire.43 Ceea ce este semănat în necinste, este înviat în slavă. Ceea ce este semănat în slăbiciune, este înviat în putere.44 Este semănat trup firesc și este înviat trup duhovnicesc. Dacă există un trup firesc, există și unul duhovnicesc.45 Așa este și scris: „Primul om, Adam, a devenit un suflet viu.“t Ultimul Adam a devenit un duh care dă viață.46 Dar primul nu este cel duhovnicesc, ci este cel firesc; apoi vine cel duhovnicesc.47 Primul om a fost făcut din țărâna pământului. Al doilea Om este din cer.48 Așa cum era cel din țărână, așa sunt și cei din țărână; și așa cum este Cel Ceresc, așa sunt și cei cerești.49 Așa cum suntem în asemănarea celui din țărână, la fel vom fit și în asemănarea Celui Ceresc.

50 Ceea ce spun, fraților, sunt următoarele: carnea și sângele nu pot să moștenească Împărăția lui Dumnezeu, și nici putrezirea nu poate moșteni nemurirea.51 Iată, vă spun o taină: nu toți vom adormit, dar toți vom fi schimbați52 într-o clipă, într-o clipire din ochi, la cea din urmă trâmbiță. Căci trâmbița va suna, iar cei morți vor fi înviați ca nemuritori, și noi vom fi schimbați.53 Căci ceea ce este supus putrezirii trebuie să se îmbrace în neputrezire, iar ceea ce este muritor trebuie să se îmbrace în nemurire.

54 Când ceea ce este supus putrezirii se va fi îmbrăcat în neputrezire, iar ceea ce este muritor se va fi îmbrăcat în nemurire, atunci se va împlini cuvântul care a fost scris:
„Moartea a fost înghițită în victorie.t

55 Moarte, unde îți este victoria?
Moarte, unde îți este boldul?“t

56 Boldul morții este păcatul, iar puterea păcatului este Legea.57 Dar mulțumiri fie aduse lui Dumnezeu, Care ne dă victoria prin Domnul nostru Isus Cristos.58 De aceea, frații mei preaiubiți, fiți fermi, de neclintit, întotdeauna implicați din plin în lucrarea Domnului, pentru că știți că în Domnul strădania voastră nu este zadarnică.

1 CORINTHIANS 15

Christ Was Raised to Life

1 My friends, I want you to remember the message I preached and that you believed and trusted.

2 You will be saved by this message, if you hold firmly to it. But if you don't, your faith was all for nothing.

3  t I told you the most important part of the message exactly as it was told to me. This part is:
Christ died for our sins,
as the Scriptures say.

4  t He was buried,
and three days later
he was raised to life,
as the Scriptures say.

5  t Christ appeared to Peter, t
then to the twelve.

6 After this, he appeared
to more than five hundred
other followers.
Most of them are still alive,
but some have died.

7 He also appeared to James,
then to all of the apostles.

8  t Finally, he appeared to me, even though I am like someone who was born at the wrong time.t
9  t I am the least important of all the apostles. In fact, I caused so much trouble for God's church that I don't even deserve to be called an apostle. 10 But God treated me with undeserved grace! He made me what I am, and his grace wasn't wasted. I worked much harder than any of the other apostles, although it was really God's grace at work and not me.

11 But it doesn't matter if I preached or if they preached. All of you believed the message just the same.

God's People //Will Be Raised to Life

15 If the dead won't be raised to life, we have told lies about God by saying he raised Christ to life, when he really did not.
16 So if the dead won't be raised to life, Christ wasn't raised to life. 17 Unless Christ was raised to life, your faith is useless, and you are still living in your sins. 18 And those people who died after putting their faith in him are completely lost.

19 If our hope in Christ is good only for this life, we are worse off than anyone else.
20 But Christ has been raised to life! And he makes us certain that others will also be raised to life. 21 Just as we will die because of Adam, we will be raised to life because of Christ. 22 Adam brought death to all of us, and Christ will bring life to all of us. 23 But we must each wait our turn. Christ was the first to be raised to life, and his people will be raised to life when he returns.

24 Then after Christ has destroyed all powers and forces, the end will come, and he will give the kingdom to God the Father.
25  t Christ will rule until he puts all his enemies under his power, 26 and the last enemy he destroys will be death. 27 t When the Scriptures say he will put everything under his power, they don't include God. It was God who put everything under the power of Christ.

28 After everything is under the power of God's Son, he will put himself under the power of God, who put everything under his Son's power. Then God will mean everything to everyone.
29  t If the dead are not going to be raised to life, what will people do who are being baptized for them? Why are they being baptized for those dead people? 30 And why do we always risk our lives 31 and face death every day? The pride that I have in you because of Christ Jesus our Lord is what makes me say this.

32 t What do you think I gained by fighting wild animals in Ephesus? If the dead are not raised to life,
“Let's eat and drink.
Tomorrow we die.”
33 Don't fool yourselves. Bad friends will destroy you.

34 Be sensible and stop sinning. You should be embarrassed that some people still don't know about God.

What Our Bodies Will Be Like

41 The sun isn't like the moon, the moon isn't like the stars, and each star is different.
42 That's how it will be when our bodies are raised to life. These bodies will die, but the bodies that are raised will live forever. 43 These ugly and weak bodies will become beautiful and strong.

44 As surely as there are physical bodies, there are spiritual bodies. And our physical bodies will be changed into spiritual bodies.
45  t The first man was named Adam, and the Scriptures tell us that he was a living person. But Jesus, who may be called the last Adam, is a life-giving spirit. 46 We see that the one with a spiritual body did not come first. He came after the one who had a physical body. 47 The first man was made from the dust of the earth, but the second man came from heaven. 48 Everyone on earth has a body like the body of the one who was made from the dust of the earth. And everyone in heaven has a body like the body of the one who came from heaven.

49 Just as we are like the one who was made out of earth, we will be like the one who came from heaven.
50 My friends, I want you to know that our bodies of flesh and blood will decay. This means they cannot share in God's kingdom, which lasts forever. 51 t I will explain a mystery to you. Not every one of us will die, but we will all be changed. 52 It will happen suddenly, quicker than the blink of an eye. At the sound of the last trumpet the dead will be raised. We will all be changed, so we will never die again. 53 Our dead and decaying bodies will be changed into bodies that won't die or decay.

54 t The bodies we now have are weak and can die. But they will be changed into bodies that are eternal. Then the Scriptures will come true,
“Death has lost the battle!

55  t Where is its victory?
Where is its sting?”
56 Sin is what gives death its sting, and the Law is the power behind sin.

57 But thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory!
58 My dear friends, stand firm and don't be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile.
