การคืนพระชนม์ของพระเยซู
1 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าขอให้คำนึงถึงข่าวประเสริฐที่ข้าพเจ้าเคยประกาศแก่ท่านทั้งหลายนั้น พวกท่านได้รับไว้และได้ตั้งมั่นอยู่บนนั้นแล้ว 2 และท่านจะได้รับความรอดโดยข่าวประเสริฐนั้นถ้าพวกท่านยังยึดมั่นในคำที่ข้าพเจ้าประกาศนั้น นอกจากว่าท่านเชื่อแบบไร้ผล
3 เพราะว่าข้าพเจ้าได้มอบเรื่องสำคัญที่สุดที่ได้รับมานั้นแก่พวกท่านคือพระคริสต์วายพระชนม์เพราะบาปของเรา ตามที่เขียนไว้ในพระคัมภีร์t 4 และทรงถูกฝังไว้ แล้ววันที่สามพระองค์ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา ตามที่เขียนไว้ในพระคัมภีร์t 5 พระองค์ทรงปรากฏต่อเคฟาสt แล้วต่ออัครทูตสิบสองคนtt 6 ต่อจากนั้น พระองค์ทรงปรากฏต่อพี่น้องกว่าห้าร้อยคนในเวลาเดียวกัน ที่ส่วนมากยังมีชีวิตอยู่จนถึงทุกวันนี้ แต่บ้างก็ล่วงหลับไปแล้ว 7 ต่อจากนั้นพระองค์ทรงปรากฏต่อยากอบ แล้วต่ออัครทูตทั้งหมด 8 หลังสุดพระองค์ทรงปรากฏต่อข้าพเจ้าt ผู้เป็นเหมือนเด็กที่คลอดก่อนกำหนด 9 เพราะว่าข้าพเจ้าเป็นผู้เล็กน้อยที่สุดในพวกอัครทูต และไม่สมควรจะได้ชื่อว่าเป็นอัครทูต เพราะว่าข้าพเจ้าได้ข่มเหงคริสตจักรของพระเจ้าt 10 แต่โดยพระคุณของพระเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจึงเป็นอย่างที่เป็นอยู่นี้ และพระคุณของพระองค์ที่ประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้านั้น ก็ไม่ไร้ประโยชน์ ตรงกันข้าม ข้าพเจ้าตรากตรำมากกว่าพวกเขาทั้งหมด ไม่ใช่ตัวข้าพเจ้าเองเป็นคนทำ แต่เป็นพระคุณของพระเจ้าซึ่งอยู่กับข้าพเจ้าที่ทำ 11 เพราะฉะนั้นตัวข้าพเจ้าหรือพวกเขาก็ดี เราต่างก็ประกาศเช่นนี้ และท่านทั้งหลายก็ได้เชื่อเช่นนี้
การที่คนตายเป็นขึ้นมา
12 ถ้าเราประกาศว่าพระคริสต์ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายแล้ว ทำไมบางคนในพวกท่านจึงพูดว่าการเป็นขึ้นจากความตายไม่มี? 13 ถ้าการเป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายไม่มี พระคริสต์ก็ไม่ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา 14 ถ้าพระคริสต์ไม่ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา การประกาศของเรานั้นก็ไร้ประโยชน์ และความเชื่อของท่านทั้งหลายก็ไร้ประโยชน์ด้วย 15 และคนก็จะเห็นว่าเราเป็นพยานเท็จในเรื่องพระเจ้า เพราะเราเป็นพยานว่าพระองค์ทรงทำให้พระคริสต์เป็นขึ้นมาแล้ว แต่ถ้าคนตายไม่ถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมาแล้ว พระคริสต์ก็ไม่ได้เป็นขึ้นมา 16 เพราะว่าถ้าคนตายไม่ถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา พระคริสต์ก็ไม่ได้ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา 17 และถ้าพระคริสต์ไม่ได้ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา ความเชื่อของพวกท่านก็ไร้ประโยชน์ ท่านก็ยังคงอยู่ในบาปของตน 18 และถ้าอย่างนั้นคนทั้งหลายที่ล่วงหลับในพระคริสต์ก็พินาศไปด้วย 19 ถ้าเรามีความหวังในพระคริสต์เพียงแค่ในชีวิตนี้ เราก็เป็นพวกน่าเวทนาที่สุดของคนทั้งหมด
20 แต่บัดนี้ พระคริสต์ทรงถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายแล้ว และทรงเป็นผลแรกของพวกที่ล่วงหลับไป 21 เพราะว่าในเมื่อความตายเกิดขึ้นโดยมนุษย์คนหนึ่ง การเป็นขึ้นจากความตายก็เกิดขึ้นโดยมนุษย์คนหนึ่งเช่นกัน 22 เพราะว่าเช่นเดียวกับที่ทุกคนต้องตายโดยเกี่ยวเนื่องกับอาดัม ทุกคนก็จะได้รับชีวิตโดยเกี่ยวเนื่องกับพระคริสต์ 23 แต่ว่าจะเป็นไปตามลำดับ คือพระคริสต์ทรงเป็นผลแรก ต่อจากนั้นก็คือคนทั้งหลายที่เป็นของพระคริสต์ในเวลาที่พระองค์เสด็จกลับมา 24 แล้วก็จะเป็นเวลาอวสานซึ่งพระคริสต์จะทรงมอบอาณาจักรแด่พระเจ้าพระบิดา และจะทรงทำลายภูตผีที่ครอบครองทั้งหมด ภูตผีที่มีสิทธิอำนาจและที่มีฤทธานุภาพ 25 เพราะว่าพระคริสต์ทรงต้องครอบครองจนกว่าพระเจ้าจะทรงปราบศัตรูทั้งหมดให้อยู่ใต้พระบาทของพระคริสต์t 26 ศัตรูตัวสุดท้ายที่จะถูกทำลายคือความตาย 27 เพราะว่า “พระเจ้าทรงให้ทุกสิ่งอยู่ใต้อำนาจภายใต้พระบาทของพระบุตรt” t แต่เมื่อพระคัมภีร์กล่าวว่าทรงให้ทุกสิ่งอยู่ใต้อำนาจนั้น ก็รู้ชัดกันอยู่แล้วว่า ยกเว้นพระเจ้าผู้ทรงให้ทุกสิ่งอยู่ใต้อำนาจพระองค์ 28 เมื่อทุกสิ่งอยู่ใต้อำนาจพระองค์แล้ว เมื่อนั้นพระบุตรพระองค์เองก็จะทรงอยู่ใต้อำนาจพระเจ้า ผู้ทรงให้ทุกสิ่งอยู่ใต้อำนาจพระองค์ เพื่อพระเจ้าจะทรงเป็นเอกtในทุกสิ่ง
29 มิฉะนั้น พวกที่ให้รับบัพติศมาเพื่อคนตายนั้นจะทำอย่างไร ถ้าคนตายไม่ถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมาเลย? และทำไมจึงมีการให้รับบัพติศมาเพื่อคนตาย? 30 และทำไมเราจึงเสี่ยงอันตรายตลอดเวลา? t 31 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าตายทุกวัน ข้าพเจ้าขอยืนยันโดยความภูมิใจในพวกท่าน ที่ข้าพเจ้ามีในพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา 32 ถ้าข้าพเจ้าต่อสู้กับสัตว์ป่าในเมืองเอเฟซัสด้วยความหวังแบบมนุษย์เท่านั้นt ข้าพเจ้าจะได้ประโยชน์อะไร ถ้าคนตายไม่ถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมา
“ก็ให้เรากินและดื่มเถิด
เพราะว่าพรุ่งนี้เราก็จะตาย”

33 อย่าหลงผิดเลย “การคบคนชั่วย่อมทำลายนิสัยที่ดีงาม”
34 จงมีสติขึ้นมาใหม่และอย่าทำบาปอีกเลย เพราะว่ามีบางคนไม่รู้จักพระเจ้า ที่ข้าพเจ้าพูดเช่นนี้ก็เพื่อให้พวกท่านละอายใจ
รูปกายที่เป็นขึ้นมา
35 แต่จะมีคนถามว่า “คนตายถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นมาอย่างไร? และพวกเขาจะมาด้วยร่างกายแบบไหน?” 36 โอ คนเขลา สิ่งที่ท่านหว่านนั้น ถ้าไม่ตายก่อนก็จะไม่งอกขึ้นใหม่ 37 สิ่งที่ท่านหว่านนั้น จะเป็นข้าวสาลีหรือพืชอื่นๆ ก็ดี ท่านไม่ได้หว่านรูปร่างของต้นที่จะงอกขึ้นมานั้น แต่หว่านเมล็ดเปล่าๆ 38 พระเจ้าประทานรูปร่างแก่เมล็ดนั้นตามที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์ และประทานรูปร่างของมันเองแก่เมล็ดแต่ละชนิด 39 เนื้อนั้นไม่เหมือนกันทั้งหมด เนื้อมนุษย์ก็อย่างหนึ่ง เนื้อสัตว์ก็อย่างหนึ่ง เนื้อนกก็อย่างหนึ่ง เนื้อปลาก็อย่างหนึ่ง 40 ร่างกายสำหรับสวรรค์ก็มี และร่างกายสำหรับโลกก็มี แต่ว่ารัศมีของร่างกายสำหรับสวรรค์ก็อย่างหนึ่ง และรัศมีของร่างกายสำหรับโลกก็อีกอย่างหนึ่ง 41 รัศมีของดวงอาทิตย์ก็อย่างหนึ่ง รัศมีของดวงจันทร์ก็อย่างหนึ่ง รัศมีของดวงดาวก็อย่างหนึ่ง ที่จริงรัศมีของดาวดวงหนึ่งก็ต่างกันกับรัศมีของดาวดวงอื่นๆ
42 การเป็นขึ้นมาของคนตายก็เหมือนกัน ร่างกายที่ถูกหว่านลงนั้นเสื่อมสลายได้ ร่างกายที่เป็นขึ้นมานั้นไม่เสื่อมสลาย 43 สิ่งที่ถูกหว่านลงนั้นไร้เกียรติ สิ่งที่เป็นขึ้นมานั้นมีศักดิ์ศรี สิ่งที่ถูกหว่านลงนั้นอ่อนกำลัง สิ่งที่เป็นขึ้นมานั้นมีพลัง 44 สิ่งที่ถูกหว่านลงนั้นเป็นกายเนื้อหนัง สิ่งที่เป็นขึ้นมานั้นเป็นกายจิตวิญญาณ ถ้ามีกายเนื้อหนัง กายจิตวิญญาณก็มีด้วย 45 ดังที่เขียนไว้ว่า “มนุษย์ คนแรกคืออาดัม จึงเป็นผู้มีชีวิต”t แต่อาดัมสุดท้ายนั้นเป็นวิญญาณผู้ประทานชีวิต 46 ร่างกายแรกนั้นไม่ใช่เป็นกายจิตวิญญาณ แต่เป็นกายเนื้อหนัง ร่างกายต่อจากนั้นจึงเป็นกายจิตวิญญาณ 47 มนุษย์คนแรกนั้นมาจากดินและเป็นมนุษย์ดิน มนุษย์คนที่สองนั้นมาจากสวรรค์ 48 มนุษย์ดินคนนั้นเป็นอย่างไร มนุษย์ดินทั้งหลายก็เป็นอย่างนั้น มนุษย์สวรรค์คนนั้นเป็นอย่างไร มนุษย์สวรรค์ทั้งหลายก็เป็นอย่างนั้น 49 และเช่นเดียวกับที่เรามีลักษณะของมนุษย์ดิน เราก็จะมีลักษณะของมนุษย์สวรรค์ 50 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าหมายความว่า เนื้อและเลือดไม่สามารถมีส่วนในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า และสิ่งที่เสื่อมสลายไม่มีส่วนในสิ่งที่ไม่เสื่อมสลาย
51 นี่แน่ะ ข้าพเจ้ามีความล้ำลึกที่จะบอกกับพวกท่าน คือเราจะไม่ล่วงหลับหมดทุกคน แต่จะถูกเปลี่ยนใหม่ทุกคน 52 ในชั่วขณะเดียว ในพริบตาเดียว เมื่อเป่าแตรครั้งสุดท้าย เพราะว่าจะมีการเป่าแตร และพวกที่ตายแล้วจะถูกทำให้เป็นขึ้นโดยปราศจากความเสื่อมสลาย แล้วเราจะถูกเปลี่ยนใหม่t 53 เพราะว่าสิ่งที่เสื่อมสลายได้นี้ต้องสวมด้วยสิ่งที่เสื่อมสลายไม่ได้ และสภาพที่ต้องตายนี้ต้องสวมด้วยสภาพที่ไม่ตาย 54 เมื่อสิ่งที่เสื่อมสลายได้นี้สวมด้วยสิ่งที่เสื่อมสลายไม่ได้และสภาพที่ต้องตายนี้สวมด้วยสภาพที่ไม่ตาย เมื่อนั้นพระวจนะที่เขียนไว้จะสำเร็จว่า

55 โอ ความตาย ชัยชนะของเจ้าอยู่ที่ไหน? โอ ความตาย เหล็กในของเจ้าอยู่ที่ไหน?” t
56 เหล็กในของความตายนั้นคือบาป และอำนาจของบาปคือธรรมบัญญัติ 57 สาธุการแด่พระเจ้า ผู้ประทานชัยชนะแก่เรา โดยพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา 58 ฉะนั้นพี่น้องที่รักของข้าพเจ้า จงมั่นคงอยู่ อย่าหวั่นไหว จงทำงานขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าให้บริบูรณ์ทุกเวลา ท่านทั้งหลายพึงรู้ว่า ในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า การตรากตรำของท่านจะไม่ไร้ประโยชน์
1 Corinthians 15
1 Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand,2 by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except ye believed in vain.3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;4 and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures;5 and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve;6 then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep;7 then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;8 and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he appeared to me also.9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.11 Whether then it be I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.12 Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither hath Christ been raised:14 and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain.15 Yea, we are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead are not raised, neither hath Christ been raised:17 and if Christ hath not been raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.18 Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.19 If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.20 But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming.24 Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.27 For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.29 Else what shall they do that are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?30 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?31 I protest by that glorifying in you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.32 If after the manner of men I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what doth it profit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.33 Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.34 Awake to soberness righteously, and sin not; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak this to move you to shame.35 But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come?36 Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die:37 and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;38 but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:43 it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:44 it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.45 So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46 Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.54 But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?56 The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
