哥林多前书 2

传扬钉十字架的基督

1 弟兄们，从前我到你们那里去，并没有用高言大智对你们宣讲上帝的奥秘。 2 因为我曾定了主意，在你们中间不知道别的，只知道耶稣基督并他钉十字架。 3 我在你们那里时，又软弱，又惧怕，又战战兢兢。 4 我说的话、讲的道不是用委婉智慧的言语t，而是以圣灵的大能来证明， 5 为要使你们的信不靠着人的智慧，而是靠着上帝的大能。

上帝之灵的启示

6 然而，在成熟的人中，我们也讲智慧，但不是今世的智慧，也不是今世有权有位、将要灭亡的人的智慧。 7 我们讲的是从前隐藏的、上帝奥秘的智慧，就是上帝在万世以前预定使我们得荣耀的智慧； 8 这智慧，今世有权有位的人没有一个知道，若知道，他们就不会把荣耀的主钉在十字架上了。 9 如经上所记： “上帝为爱他的人所预备的 是眼睛未曾看见，耳朵未曾听见， 人心也未曾想到的。”

10 只有上帝藉着圣灵把这事向我们显明了；因为圣灵参透万事，就是上帝深奥的事也参透了。 11 除了在人里头的灵，谁知道人的事？照样，除了上帝的灵，也没有人知道上帝的事。 12 我们所领受的并不是世上的灵，而是从上帝来的灵，为使我们知道上帝把恩赐赏给我们的事。 13 我们也讲说这些事，不是用人的智慧所教的言语，而是用圣灵所教的言语，用属灵的话解释属灵的事t。 14 然而，属血气的人不接受上帝的灵的事，他反倒以这为愚拙，并且他不能了解，因为这些事惟有属灵的人才能领悟。 15 属灵的人能看透万事，却没有一人能看透他。 16 “谁曾知道主的心？ 谁会教导他？” 至于我们，我们有基督的心。

Telling about Christ //and the Cross

1 Friends, when I came and told you the mysteryt that God had shared with us, I didn't use big words or try to sound wise.

2 In fact, while I was with you, I made up my mind to speak only about Jesus Christ, who had been nailed to a cross.
3  t At first, I was weak and trembling with fear. 4 When I talked with you or preached, I didn't try to prove anything by sounding wise. I simply let God's Spirit show his power.

5 That way you would have faith because of God's power and not because of human wisdom.
6 We do use wisdom when speaking to people who are mature in their faith. But it isn't the wisdom of this world or of its rulers, who will soon disappear. 7 We speak of God's hidden and mysterious wisdom that God decided to use for our glory long before the world began. 8 t The rulers of this world didn't know anything about this wisdom. If they had known about it, they would not have nailed the glorious Lord to a cross.

9 t But it is just as the Scriptures say,
“What God has planned
for people who love him
is more than eyes have seen
or ears have heard.
It has never even
entered our minds!”
10 God's Spirit has shown you everything. His Spirit finds out everything, even what is deep in the mind of God. 11 You are the only one who knows what is in your own mind, and God's Spirit is the only one who knows what is in God's mind.

12 But God has given us his Spirit. This is why we don't think the same way that the people of this world think. This is also why we can recognize the blessings God has given us.
13 Every word we speak was taught to us by God's Spirit, not by human wisdom. And this same Spirit helps us teach spiritual things to spiritual people.t 14 This is why only someone who has God's Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn't have God's Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish. 15 People who are guided by the Spirit can make all kinds of judgments, but they cannot be judged by others.

16 t The Scriptures ask,
“Has anyone ever known
the thoughts of the Lord
or given him advice?”
But we understand what Christ is thinking.t
