La carnalità causa di divisione
1 OR io, fratelli, non ho potuto parlare a voi, come a spiritualit, anzi vi ho parlato come a carnalit, come a fanciulli in Cristo. 2 Io vi ho dato a bere del lattet, e non vi ho dato del cibo, perciocchè voi non potevate ancora portarlot; anzi neppure ora potete, perchè siete carnali. 3 Imperocchè, poichè fra voi vi è invidia, e contenzione, e divisionit, non siete voi carnali, e non camminate voi secondo l'uomot?
4 Perciocchè, quando l'uno dice: Quant'è a me, io son di Paolot; e l'altro: Ed io d'Apollo; non siete voi carnali?
5 Chi è adunque Paolo? e chi è Apollo? se non ministri, per i quali voi avete creduto, e ciò secondo che il Signore ha dato a ciascunot? 6 Io ho piantatot, Apollo ha adacquatot, ma Iddio ha fatto cresceret. 7 Talchè, nè colui che pianta, nè colui che adacqua, non è nullat; ma non vi è altri che Iddio, il quale fa crescere.
8 Ora, e colui che pianta, e colui che adacqua, sono una medesima cosa; e ciascuno riceverà il suo proprio premio, secondo la sua faticat.Il tempio di Dio e il suo fondamento
9 POICHÈ noi siamo operai nell'opera di Dio; voi siete il campo di Dio, l'edificio di Diot. 10 Io, secondo la grazia di Dio che mi è stata data, come savio architetto, ho posto il fondamentot, ed altri edifica sopra; ora ciascun riguardi come egli edifica sopra. 11 Perciocchè niuno può porre altro fondamento che quello ch'è stato postot, il quale è Gesù Cristot. 12 Ora, se alcuno edifica sopra questo fondamento oro, argento, pietre preziose, ovvero legno, fieno, stoppia, 13 l'opera di ciascuno sarà manifestatat; perciocchè il giorno la paleserà; poichè ha da esser manifestata per fuocot; e il fuoco farà la prova qual sia l'opera di ciascuno. 14 Se l'opera d'alcuno, la quale egli abbia edificata sopra il fondamento, dimora, egli ne riceverà premio.
15 Se l'opera d'alcuno è arsa, egli farà perdita; ma egli sarà salvato, per modo però, che sarà come per fuoco.
16 Non sapete voi che siete il tempio di Diot, e che lo Spirito di Dio abita in voi?
17 Se alcuno guasta il tempio di Dio, Iddio guasterà lui; perciocchè il tempio del Signore è santo, il quale siete voi.
18 Niuno inganni sè stesso; se alcuno fra voi si pensa esser saviot in questo secolo, divenga pazzo, acciocchè diventi savio. 19 Perciocchè la sapienza di questo mondo è pazzia presso Iddiot; poichè è scritto: Egli è quel che prende i savi nella loro astuziat.
20 Ed altrove: Il Signore conosce i pensieri de'~savi, e sa che son vanit.
21 Perciò, niuno si glorii negli uominit, perciocchè ogni cosa è vostrat. 22 E Paolo, ed Apollo, e Cefa, e il mondo, e la vita, e la morte, e le cose presenti, e le cose future; ogni cosa è vostra. 23 E voi siete di Cristot, e Cristo è di Dio.

Immaturity and Self-deception
1 So, brothers and sisters,t I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh,t as infants in Christ.2 I fed you milk,s not solid food, for you were not yet ready. In fact, you are still not ready,3 for you are still influenced by the flesh.t For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people?t
4 For whenever someone says, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human?t
5 What is Apollos, really? Or what is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, and each of us in the ministry the Lord gave us.t6 I planted,s Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.7 So neither the one who plants counts for anything,t nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.8 The one who plants and the one who waters work as one,t but each will receive his reward according to his work.9 We are coworkers belonging to God.t You are God’s field, God’s building.10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds.11 For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.12 If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,s13 each builder’st work will be plainly seen, for the Dayts will make it clear, because it will be revealed by fire. And the firess will test what kind of work each has done.14 If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.
15 If someone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss.t He himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
16 Do you not know that you are God’s temples and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
17 If someone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are.
18 Guard against self-deception, each of you.t If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise.19 For the wisdom of this age is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.”s20 And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”s21 So then, no more boasting about mere mortals!t For everything belongs to you,22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you,
23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
