เพื่อนร่วมงานเพื่อพระเจ้า
1 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าไม่อาจจะพูดกับท่าน เหมือนพูดกับพวกที่อยู่ฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณ แต่ต้องพูดเหมือนพวกที่อยู่ฝ่ายเนื้อหนัง เหมือนกับพวกที่เป็นทารกในพระคริสต์ 2 ข้าพเจ้าเลี้ยงพวกท่านด้วยน้ำนม ไม่ใช่ด้วยอาหารแข็งt เพราะว่าเมื่อก่อนท่านไม่สามารถรับ และเดี๋ยวนี้ท่านก็ยังคงไม่สามารถรับได้ 3 เพราะว่าท่านทั้งหลายยังอยู่ฝ่ายเนื้อหนัง เพราะเมื่อยังอิจฉากัน และขัดเคืองใจกัน พวกท่านก็อยู่ฝ่ายเนื้อหนังและประพฤติอย่างคนทั่วไปไม่ใช่หรือ? 4 เพราะเมื่อคนหนึ่งกล่าวว่า “ข้าพเจ้าเป็นศิษย์ของเปาโล” และอีกคนหนึ่งกล่าวว่า “ข้าพเจ้าเป็นศิษย์ของอปอลโล”t ท่านทั้งหลายก็เป็นเหมือนคนทั่วไปไม่ใช่หรือ? 5 อปอลโลคือใคร? เปาโลคือใคร? คือผู้ปรนนิบัติซึ่งได้สอนพวกท่านให้เชื่อ ตามงานที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงกำหนดให้แต่ละคน 6 ข้าพเจ้าปลูกt อปอลโลรดน้ำt แต่พระเจ้าทรงทำให้เติบโต 7 เพราะฉะนั้นคนที่ปลูกและคนที่รดน้ำไม่สำคัญอะไร แต่พระเจ้าผู้ทรงให้เติบโตนั้นต่างหากที่สำคัญ 8 คนที่ปลูกและคนที่รดน้ำก็เป็นพวกเดียวกัน และทุกคนก็จะได้บำเหน็จตามการงานของตน 9 เพราะว่าเราร่วมกันทำงานเพื่อพระเจ้า ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นไร่นาของพระเจ้า และเป็นตึกของพระองค์ 10 โดยพระคุณของพระเจ้าที่ประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าได้วางรากลงแล้วเหมือนนายช่างผู้ชำนาญ และอีกคนหนึ่งก็มาก่อขึ้น แต่ละคนต้องระวังให้ดีว่าเขาจะก่อขึ้นอย่างไร 11 เพราะว่าใครจะมาวางรากอื่นอีกไม่ได้แล้ว นอกจากที่วางไว้แล้วคือพระเยซูคริสต์ 12 บนรากนั้นถ้าใครจะก่อขึ้นด้วยทองคำ เงิน เพชรพลอย ไม้ หญ้าแห้งหรือฟาง 13 การงานของแต่ละคนก็จะปรากฏให้เห็น เพราะวันพิพากษานั้นtจะสำแดงให้เห็น คือจะถูกเผยให้เห็นด้วยไฟ และไฟนั้นจะพิสูจน์ว่าการงานของแต่ละคนเป็นอย่างไร 14 ถ้าการงานของใครที่ก่อขึ้นทนอยู่ได้ คนนั้นก็จะได้บำเหน็จ 15 ถ้าการงานของใครถูกเผาไหม้ไป คนนั้นก็จะได้รับความสูญเสีย ส่วนตัวเขาเองจะรอด แต่เหมือนดังรอดจากไฟ 16 ท่านทั้งหลายรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าพวกท่านเป็นวิหารของพระเจ้า และพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าสถิตอยู่ในพวกท่าน? t 17 ถ้าใครทำลายวิหารของพระเจ้า พระเจ้าจะทรงทำลายคนนั้น เพราะว่าวิหารของพระเจ้าเป็นที่บริสุทธิ์ และพวกท่านเป็นวิหารนั้น 18 อย่าให้ใครหลอกลวงตัวเอง ถ้าใครในพวกท่านคิดว่าตัวเป็นคนมีปัญญาตามหลักของยุคนี้ จงให้คนนั้นยอมเป็นคนโง่ เพื่อจะได้เป็นคนมีปัญญา 19 เพราะว่าปัญญาของโลกนี้ เป็นความโง่ในสายพระเนตรของพระเจ้า เพราะมีเขียนไว้ว่า “พระองค์ทรงจับคนมีปัญญาด้วยอุบายของพวกเขาเอง” t
20 และมีเขียนไว้อีกว่า “องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า t ทรงทราบความคิดของพวกที่มีปัญญา ว่าเป็นสิ่งไร้ประโยชน์” t
21 เพราะฉะนั้น อย่าให้ใครยกมนุษย์ขึ้นอวด เพราะว่าทุกสิ่งเป็นของท่านทั้งหลาย 22 ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเปาโล หรืออปอลโล หรือเคฟาส หรือโลก หรือชีวิต หรือความตาย หรือปัจจุบัน หรืออนาคต ทุกสิ่งนั้นล้วนเป็นของท่าน 23 และท่านทั้งหลายเป็นของพระคริสต์ และพระคริสต์ทรงเป็นของพระเจ้า
1 Corinthians 3
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ.2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for ye were not yet able to bear it: nay, not even now are ye able;3 for ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk after the manner of men?4 For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not men?5 What then is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed; and each as the Lord gave to him.6 I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.7 So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.9 For we are God’s fellow-workers: ye are God’s husbandry, God’s building.10 According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.12 But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;13 each man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man’s work of what sort it is.14 If any man’s work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward.15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire.16 Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?17 If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man thinketh that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:20 and again, The Lord knoweth the reasonings of the wise that they are vain.21 Wherefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours;22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;23 and ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.
