1 ดัง_นั้น คน_อื่น_น่า_จะ_มอง_ว่า_เรา_เป็น_คน_รับใช้_ของ_พระคริสต์ และ_เป็น_คน_ที่_พระเจ้า_ได้_มอบ_หมาย ให้_ดูแล_ความ_จริง_อัน_ลึกลับ_ของ_พระองค์_นี้

2 คน_ที่_ได้_รับ_หน้าที่_ดูแล_นี้_จะ_ต้อง_เป็น_คน_ที่_ไว้ใจ_ได้

3 ส่วน_ผม ผม_ไม่_สน_เลย_ว่า_พวก_คุณ_หรือ_ศาล_จะ_ตัดสิน_ว่า_ผม_เป็น_คน_อย่าง_ไร อันที่_จริง_ตัว_ผม_เอง_ก็_ยัง_ไม่_เคย_ตัดสิน_ตัวเอง_เสีย_ด้วย_ซ้ำ

4 ใจ_ของ_ผม_ไม่_ได้_ฟ้อง_ว่า_ผม_ทำ_อะไร_ผิด แต่_นั่น_ก็_ไม่_ได้_แสดง_ว่า_ผม_เป็น_คน_บริสุทธิ์_หรอก_นะ_ครับ องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ต่าง_หาก_ที่_เป็น_ผู้_ตัดสิน_ผม

5 ดัง_นั้น_อย่า_เพิ่ง_ด่วน_ตัดสิน_อะไร_ก่อน_เวลา เมื่อ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_มา พระองค์_จะ_เปิดเผย_สิ่ง_ต่างๆ_ที่_แอบ_ซ่อน_อยู่_ใน_ความ_มืด และ_แรง_จูง_ใจ_ของ_คน_ทั้งหลาย_ออก_มา_ให้_เห็น_ชัด_เจน จาก_นั้น_พระเจ้า_ก็_จะ_ให้_เกียรติ_พวก_คุณ_แต่_ละ_คน_ตาม_ความ_เหมาะ_สม

6 พี่_น้อง_ครับ ผม_ใช้_อปอลโล_และ_ตัว_ผม_เอง_เป็น_ตัวอย่าง เพื่อ_พวก_คุณ_จะ_ได้_เรียนรู้_จาก_ตัวอย่าง_ของ_เรา จะ_ได้_รู้_ถึง_ความ_หมาย_ของ_คำ_พูด_ที่_ว่า “อย่า_ทำ_เกิน_กว่า_ที่_พระ_คัมภีร์_ได้_เขียน_ไว้” เพื่อ_คุณ_จะ_ได้_ไม่_พอง_ตัว_ขึ้น โดย_การ_ยก_คน_หนึ่ง_ไป_ข่ม_อีก_คน_หนึ่ง

7 ใคร_บอก_ว่า_คุณ_วิเศษ_ไป_กว่า_คน_อื่นๆ มี_อะไร_บ้าง_ใน_บรรดา_ของ_ที่_คุณ_มี_ที่_คุณ_ไม่_ได้_รับ_มา ถ้า_คุณ_ได้_รับ_มา_ทั้ง_นั้น แล้ว_คุณ_จะ_โอ้_อวด_ไป_ทำ_ไม ทำ_เหมือน_กับ_ว่า_คุณ_ไม่_ได้_รับ_มัน_มา_อย่าง_นั้น_แหละ

8 ตอน_นี้_คุณ_คิด_ว่า_แม้_ไม่_ต้อง_มี_เรา คุณ_ก็_มี_พร้อม_ทุก_อย่าง_แล้ว รวย_แล้ว และ_เป็น_กษัตริย์_แล้ว ขอ_ให้_เป็น_อย่าง_นั้น_จริงๆ_เถอะ เรา_จะ_ได้_เป็น_กษัตริย์_กับ_พวก_คุณ_ด้วย

9 ผม_บอก_ว่า_พระเจ้า_ได้_ตั้ง_พวก_เรา_ที่_เป็น_ศิษย์_เอก_ให้_เป็น_พวก_ที่_กระจอก_ที่สุด เหมือน_พวก_ที่_ถูก_ตัดสิน_ให้_ตาย_ใน_สังเวียน เพราะ_เรา_กลาย_เป็น_ตัว_ตลก_ใน_สายตา_ของ_คน_ทั้ง_โลก ต่อ_พวก_ทูตสวรรค์_และ_ต่อ_มนุษย์_ด้วย

10 เรา_โง่_เพราะ_เห็น_กับ_พระคริสต์ แต่_พวก_คุณ_ฉลาด_มาก_ใน_พระคริสต์ เรา_อ่อนแอ_แต่_พวก_คุณ_แข็งแรง_มาก พวก_คุณ_ได้_รับ_การ_ยกย่อง_แต่_เรา_ถูก_เหยียด_หยาม

11 จน_ถึง_เดี๋ยว_นี้_เรา_ยัง_หิว_และ_กระหาย_น้ำ ใส่_เสื้อผ้า_เก่า_ซอมซ่อ ถูก_ชก_ต่อย ไม่_มี_บ้าน_อยู่

12 ทำ_งาน_หนัก_ด้วย_มือ_ของ_เรา_เอง

13 เมื่อ_มี_คน_ด่า_ว่า_เรา เรา_ก็_อวย_พร_เขา เมื่อ_มี_คน_กด_ขี่_ข่มเหง_เรา เรา_ก็_อดทน เมื่อ_มี_คน_ใส่ร้าย_เรา เรา_ก็_พูด_ดีๆ_ตอบ พวก_เรา_เป็น_เหมือน_เศษ_สวะ_ของ_โลก_นี้ และ_เป็น_เหมือน_กาก_เดน_ของ_ทุก_อย่าง_จน_ถึง_เดี๋ยว_นี้

14 ผม_ไม่_ได้_เขียน_เรื่อง_นี้_มา_ให้_พวก_คุณ_อับอาย_นะ_ครับ แต่_เพื่อ_เตือน_พวก_คุณ_เหมือน_กับ_เป็น_ลูก_ที่รัก_ของ_ผม_เอง

15 เพราะ_ถึง_แม้ว่า_คุณ_จะ_มี_พี่เลี้ยง_เป็น_หมื่น_ใน_พระคริสต์ แต่_ไม่_ได้_มี_พ่อ_หลาย_คน และ_ผม_ได้_กลาย_เป็น_พ่อ_ของ_คุณ_ใน_พระ_เยซูคริสต์ เมื่อ_คุณ_ได้_ไว้วางใจ_ใน_ข่าว_ดี_ที่_ผม_ประกาศ_นั้น

16 ดัง_นั้น_ขอ_ร้อง_ให้_ทำ_ตาม_ผม_เถอะ

17 นั่น_เป็น_เหตุ_ที่_ผม_ส่ง_ทิโมธี_มา_หา_พวก_คุณ เขา_เป็น_ลูก_ที่รัก_ของ_ผม_และ_เป็น_คน_ที่_ไว้ใจ_ได้_ใน_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต เขา_จะ_เตือน_พวก_คุณ_ว่า ผม_ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_ไร_ใน_พระ_เยซูคริสต์ เหมือน_กับ_ที่_ผม_ได้_สอน_ใน_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_พระเจ้า_ทุก_ที่

18 บางคน_ก็_หยิ่ง_เสีย_เหลือ_เกิน ทำ_เหมือน_กับ_ว่า_ผม_จะ_ไม่_มา_หา_พวก_คุณ_อีก_แล้ว

19 อย่าง_ไร_ก็_ตาม ถ้า_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_เห็นดี_ด้วย ผม_จะ_มา_หา_พวก_คุณ_ใน_เร็วๆ_นี้ แล้ว_ตอน_นั้น_ผม_ก็_จะ_ได้_รู้_ว่า_พวก_หยิ่ง_ผยอง_นี้ เก่ง_แต่_พูด_หรือ_มี_ฤทธิ์_เดช_ของ_พระเจ้า_จริง

20 เพราะ_อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า_ไม่_ได้_ขึ้น_อยู่_กับ_คำ_พูด แต่_ขึ้น_อยู่_กับ_ฤทธิ์_เดช_ของ_พระองค์

21 พวก_คุณ_อยาก_ให้_ผม_มา_แบบ_ไหน_ละ มา_พร้อม_กับ_ไม้เรียว หรือ_มา_พร้อม_กับ_ความ_รัก_และ_จิต_ใจ_ที่_อ่อน_โยน

1 Corinthians 4

Servants of Christ

1 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.2 In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.3 But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.4 For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.5 Therefore do not go on passing judgment before tthe time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God.

6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become arrogant in behalf of one against the other.7 For who regards you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

8 You are already filled, you have already become rich, you have become kings without us; and indeed, I wish that you had become kings so that we also might reign with you.9 For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.11 To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless;12 and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure;13 when we are slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

14 I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.15 For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.16 Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me.17 For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every church.18 Now some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant but their power.20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.21 What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness?
