Iṣẹ́ Àwọn Aposteli

1 JẸ ki enia ki o ma kà wa bẹ̃ bi iranṣẹ Kristi, ati iriju awọn ohun ijinlẹ Ọlọrun. 2 Pẹlupẹlu a mbere lọwọ iriju pe ki oluwarẹ̀ na ki o jẹ olõtọ. 3 Ṣugbọn, ohun kikini ni fun mi pe, ki ẹ mã ṣe idajọ mi, tabi ki a mã ṣe idajọ mi nipa idajọ enia: nitotọ emi kò ṣe idajọ emi tikarami. 4 Nitoriti emi kò mọ̀ ohunkohun si ara mi; ṣugbọn a kò ti ipa eyi dá mi lare: Ṣugbọn ẹniti nṣe idajọ mi li Oluwa. 5 Nitorina, ẹ máṣe ṣe idajọ ohunkohun ṣaju akokò na, titi Oluwa yio fi de, ẹniti yio mu ohun òkunkun ti o farasin wá si imọlẹ, ti yio si fi ìmọ ọkàn hàn: nigbana li olukuluku yio si ni iyìn tirẹ̀ lọdọ Ọlọrun. 6 Njẹ ará, nkan wọnyi ni mo ti fi ṣe apẹrẹ ara mi ati Apollo nitori nyin; ki ẹnyin ki o le ti ipa wa kọ́ ki ẹ maṣe ré ohun ti a ti kọwe rẹ̀ kọja, ki ẹnikan ninu nyin ki o máṣe ti itori ẹnikan gberaga si ẹnikeji. 7 Nitori tali o mu ọ yàtọ? kini iwọ si ní ti iwọ kò ti gbà? njẹ bi iwọ ba si ti gbà a, éhatiṣe ti iwọ fi nhalẹ, bi ẹnipe iwọ kò gbà a? 8 A sá tẹ́ nyin lọrùn nisisiyi, a sá ti sọ nyin di ọlọrọ̀ nisisiyi, ẹnyin ti njọba laisi wa: iba si wu mi ki ẹnyin ki o jọba, ki awa ki o le jùmọ jọba pẹlu nyin. 9 Nitori mo rò pe Ọlọrun ti yan awa Aposteli kẹhin bi awọn ẹniti a dalẹbi ikú: nitoriti a fi wa ṣe iran wò fun aiye, ati fun angẹli, ati fun enia. 10 Awa jẹ aṣiwere nitori Kristi, ṣugbọn ẹnyin jẹ ọlọgbọ́n ninu Kristi; awa jẹ alailera, ṣugbọn ẹnyin jẹ alagbara; ẹnyin jẹ ọlọlá, ṣugbọn awa jẹ ẹni ẹ̀gan. 11 Ani titi fi di wakati yi li ebi npa wa, ti òrungbẹ si ngbẹ wa, ti a si wà ni ìhoho, ti a si nlù wa, ti a kò si ni ibugbé kan; 12 Ti a nṣe lãlã, a nfi ọwọ́ ara wa ṣiṣẹ: nwọn ngàn wa, awa nsure; nwọn nṣe inunibini si wa, awa nforitì i: 13 Nwọn nkẹgàn wa, awa mbẹ̀bẹ: a ṣe wa bi ohun ẹgbin aiye, bi ẽri ohun gbogbo titi di isisiyi. 14 Emi kò kọ̀we nkan wọnyi lati fi dojutì nyin, ṣugbọn lati kìlọ fun nyin bi awọn ọmọ mi ayanfẹ. 15 Nitori bi ẹnyin tilẹ ni ẹgbarun olukọni ninu Kristi, ṣugbọn ẹnyin kò ni baba pipọ: nitoripe ninu Kristi Jesu ni mo ti fi ihinrere bí nyin. 16 Nitorina mo bẹ̀ nyin, ẹ mã ṣe afarawe mi. 17 Nitorina ni mo ṣe rán Timotiu si nyin, ẹniti iṣe ọmọ mi olufẹ ati olododo ninu Oluwa, ẹniti yio ma mu nyin ranti ọ̀na mi ti o wà ninu Kristi, gẹgẹ bi mo ti nkọ́ni ninu gbogbo ijọ nibigbogbo. 18 Ṣugbọn awọn ẹlomiran gberaga ninu nyin, bi ẹnipe emi kì yio tọ̀ nyin wá mọ́. 19 Ṣugbọn emi ó tọ̀ nyin wá ni lọ̃lọ yi, bi Oluwa ba fẹ; kì si iṣe ọ̀rọ awọn ti ngberaga li emi o mọ̀, bikoṣe agbara. 20 Nitori ijọba Ọlọrun kì iṣe ninu ọ̀rọ, bikoṣe ninu agbara. 21 Kili ẹnyin nfẹ? emi ó ha tọ̀ nyin wá ti emi ti kùmọ bi, tabi ni ifẹ, ati ẹmí inututù?

1 Corinthians 4

Servants of Christ

1 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.2 In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.3 But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.4 For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.5 Therefore do not go on passing judgment before tthe time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God.

6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become arrogant in behalf of one against the other.7 For who regards you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

8 You are already filled, you have already become rich, you have become kings without us; and indeed, I wish that you had become kings so that we also might reign with you.9 For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.11 To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless;12 and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure;13 when we are slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

14 I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.15 For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.16 Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me.17 For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every church.18 Now some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant but their power.20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.21 What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness?
