コリント人への第一の手紙 5
五
1 あなたがたの間に起こった、ひどい出来事について、みんながうわさをしています。 それは、「異教徒」でもしでかさないほどの不始末で、父の妻（おそらく、まま母のこと）と不義の関係にある人が、教会にいるそうではありませんか。 2 それでもなお、自分たちは「霊的」だと白を切るつもりですか。 どうしてそのことで嘆き悲しみ、恥じないのですか。 なぜその人を教会から除名しないのですか。
3-4 いっしょにはいませんが、私もこの問題をよく考えてみました。 そして、実際その場に居合わせたように、主イエス・キリストの御名によって、すでに対策を決めました。 さっそく教会で集会を開きなさい。――その時、主イエスの力があなたがたと共にあり、私も霊において出席します。 ―― 5 そして、その人を罰するために、教会から追放して、サタンの手に引き渡しなさい。 そうするのは、主イエス・キリストが帰って来られる時に、その人のたましいが救われるようにと願うからです。
6 潔白さを誇るあなたがたが、こんな事件に目をつぶっているかと思うと、ぞっとします。 たとい一人でも、罪を犯すままに放任しておけば、やがてその影響が全員に及ぶことが、わからないのですか。 7 恐ろしい癌であるその人を、あなたがたの間から除きなさい。 そうすれば、きよさを保てます。 神の小羊であるキリスト様は、私たちのためにすでに殺されたのです。 8 ですから、悪意や不正でいっぱいの、癌に冒された古い生活から、全く離れなさい。 しっかりキリスト様につながり、クリスチャン生活において、力強く成長しようではありませんか。 悪意や不正のまじったパンではなく、栄誉と誠実と真実の純粋なパンを、食べようではありませんか。
9 私は以前、あなたがたに手紙で、悪い人たちと交際しないように書き送りました。 10 しかし、それは、性的な罪を犯している者、欲張りの詐欺師、どろぼう、偶像を拝む者、というような不信仰者とは口もきくな、という意味ではありません。 そのような人たちから離れていようとすれば、この世では、とうてい生きていけないからです。 11 私がほんとうに意図したところは、自分はクリスチャンだと公言している者で、しかも性的な罪にふける者、貪欲な者、人をだます者、偶像を拝む者、酒に酔う者、口ぎたなくののしる者とはつき合うな、ということです。 そのような者と共に食事をすることさえいけません。
12-13 教会外の人たちをさばくことは、私たちの務めではありません。 神様お一人のなさることです。 しかし、教会員でありながら、このような罪を犯す者がいたら、きびしい処置をとることは、当然です。 その悪い人を処罰し、教会から除名しなければなりません。
1 Corinthians 5
1 It is actually reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one of you hath his father’s wife.2 And ye are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he that had done this deed might be taken away from among you.3 For I verily, being absent in body but present in spirit, have already as though I were present judged him that hath so wrought this thing,4 in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,5 to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?7 Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, even Christ:8 wherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.9 I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators;10 not at all meaning with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world:11 but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.12 For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?13 But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.
