Disciplina bisericească

1 Este cunoscut faptul că între voi există desfrâu și încă un desfrâu din acela cum nici între neamuri nu se găsește, până acolo încât un om trăiește cu soția tatălui său.2 Iar voi ați devenit aroganți și nu v-ați mâhnit mai degrabă, pentru ca acela care a făcut lucrul acesta să fie dat afară din mijlocul vostru?3 Chiar dacă sunt absent cu trupul, totuși, în duh, sunt cu voi și l-am și judecat deja pe cel ce a săvârșit un astfel de lucru, ca și cum aș fi prezent.4 În Numele Domnului Isus, voi și cu duhul meu, fiind adunați laolaltă, împreună cu puterea Domnului nostru Isus,5  am hotărât să dați un astfel de om pe mâna lui Satant, pentru nimicirea trupuluit, pentru ca duhul lui să fie mântuit în ziua Domnului.6 Lauda voastră nu este un lucru bun. Nu știți că puțină drojdie dospește tot aluatul?7 Curățați drojdia veche, ca să fiți un aluat nou, fără drojdie, cum de fapt și sunteți, întrucât Cristos, Mielul nostru de Paște, a fost jertfit.8 Așadar, să sărbătorim nu cu drojdia veche, nici cu drojdia răutății și ticăloșiei, ci cu azimele sincerității și adevărului.

9 V-am scris în scrisoarea mea să nu vă asociați cu cei desfrânați,10 dar nu m-am referit la oamenii desfrânați ai acestei lumi sau la cei lacomi și tâlhari, sau la cei idolatri, pentru că atunci ar trebui să ieșiți din lume.11 Ci vă scriu să nu vă asociați cu nimeni care își zice frate, dar este desfrânat sau lacom, sau idolatru, sau bârfitor, sau bețiv, sau tâlhar. Cu un astfel de om nici măcar să nu mâncați!12 De ce să-i judec pe cei de afară? N-ar trebui să-i judecați pe cei dinăuntru?13 Pe cei de afară îi va judeca Dumnezeu. „Dați-l afară din mijlocul vostru pe omul acela rău!“t

Immoral Followers

1  t I have heard terrible things about some of you. In fact, you are behaving worse than Gentiles. A man is even sleeping with his own stepmother.t

2 You are proud, when you ought to feel bad enough to chase away anyone who acts like this.
3-4 I am with you only in my thoughts. But in the name of our Lord Jesus I have already judged this man, as though I were with you in person. So when you meet together and the power of the Lord Jesus is with you, I will be there too.

5 You must then hand that man over to Satan. His body will be destroyed, but his spirit will be saved when the Lord Jesus returns.
6  t Stop being proud! Don't you know how a little yeast can spread through the whole batch of dough? 7 t Get rid of the old yeast! Then you will be like fresh bread made without yeast, and this is what you are. Our Passover lamb is Christ, who has already been sacrificed.

8 t So don't celebrate the festival by being evil and sinful, which is like serving bread made with yeast. Be pure and truthful and celebrate by using bread made without yeast.
9 In my other lettert I told you not to have anything to do with immoral people. 10 But I wasn't talking about the people of this world. You would have to leave this world to get away from everyone who is immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols. 11 I was talking about your own people who are immoral or greedy or worship idols or curse others or get drunk or cheat. Don't even eat with them! 12 Why should I judge outsiders? Aren't we supposed to judge only church members? 13 t God judges everyone else. The Scriptures say, “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.”
