1 CORINTIOS 5
Un caso de inmoralidad juzgado
1 De cierto se oye que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los gentiles; tanto que alguno tiene la mujer de su padre.t
2 Y vosotros estáis envanecidos. ¿No debierais más bien haberos lamentado, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que cometió tal acción?
3 Ciertamente yo, como ausente en cuerpo, pero presente en espíritu, ya como presente he juzgado al que tal cosa ha hecho. 4 En el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, reunidos vosotros y mi espíritu, con el poder de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
5 el tal sea entregado a Satanás para destrucción de la carne, a fin de que el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús.
6 No es buena vuestra jactancia. ¿No sabéis que un poco de levadura leuda toda la masa?t 7 Limpiaos, pues, de la vieja levadura, para que seáis nueva masa, sin levadura como sois; porque nuestra pascua,t que es Cristo, ya fue sacrificada por nosotros.
8 Así que celebremos la fiesta, no con la vieja levadura, ni con la levadura de malicia y de maldad, sino con panes sin levadura,t de sinceridad y de verdad.
9 Os he escrito por carta, que no os juntéis con los fornicarios; 10 no absolutamente con los fornicarios de este mundo, o con los avaros, o con los ladrones, o con los idólatras; pues en tal caso os sería necesario salir del mundo. 11 Más bien os escribí que no os juntéis con ninguno que, llamándose hermano, fuere fornicario, o avaro, o idólatra, o maldiciente, o borracho, o ladrón; con el tal ni aun comáis. 12 Porque ¿qué razón tendría yo para juzgar a los que están fuera? ¿No juzgáis vosotros a los que están dentro? 13 Porque a los que están fuera, Dios juzgará. Quitad, pues, a ese perverso de entre vosotros.

Immoral Followers
1 t I have heard terrible things about some of you. In fact, you are behaving worse than Gentiles. A man is even sleeping with his own stepmother.t
2 You are proud, when you ought to feel bad enough to chase away anyone who acts like this.
3-4 I am with you only in my thoughts. But in the name of our Lord Jesus I have already judged this man, as though I were with you in person. So when you meet together and the power of the Lord Jesus is with you, I will be there too.
5 You must then hand that man over to Satan. His body will be destroyed, but his spirit will be saved when the Lord Jesus returns.
6 t Stop being proud! Don't you know how a little yeast can spread through the whole batch of dough? 7 t Get rid of the old yeast! Then you will be like fresh bread made without yeast, and this is what you are. Our Passover lamb is Christ, who has already been sacrificed.
8 t So don't celebrate the festival by being evil and sinful, which is like serving bread made with yeast. Be pure and truthful and celebrate by using bread made without yeast.
9 In my other lettert I told you not to have anything to do with immoral people. 10 But I wasn't talking about the people of this world. You would have to leave this world to get away from everyone who is immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols. 11 I was talking about your own people who are immoral or greedy or worship idols or curse others or get drunk or cheat. Don't even eat with them! 12 Why should I judge outsiders? Aren't we supposed to judge only church members? 13 t God judges everyone else. The Scriptures say, “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.”
