Paulus umpasala to umpogau’ tang gau’
5:1-13
1 Lele bangmo karebanna, kumua den gau’ sala lan kombongammi, ontongpi na iatu gau’ sala susito tae’pa ditiro, moi dio lu to kapere’, kumua denmo tau umpobaine bainena ambe’na.
2 Ammi umpamadao bangpa penaammi, tang sipato’raka la masussakomi, anna ditassu’i lan mai kombongammi tu to umpogau’i tu iannato?
3 Iate aku te, tonganna tae’ nadio ren tu kaleku, apa iatu deatangku dio ren, dadi butung diona’ ren ullampakanni ukunganna tu to umpogau’i susito.
4 Iake ma’kombongangkomi nadio ren deatangku sola kuasanNa Puangta Yesu,
5 la tasorong tu to susito lako deata bulituk tete dio sanganNa Puangta Yesu, nasanggang tu pa’kaleanna, anna makarimman tu penaanna, ke alloNa Puang.
6 Iatu kaussattuammi kalemi tae’ namelo. Tae’raka miissanni kumua iatu ragi sidi’ umpamessu’ ta’pung sanglemun?
7 Tibei tu ragi masai, ammi mendadi sanglemun ta’pung ba’ru, belanna inang tae’ naraukomi ragi. Belanna mangkamo ditunu tu pa’pasata, iamotu Kristus.
8 Iamoto melo ke ma’marua’-rua’ki’, tangia ragi masaimo la tapakaruasanni, sia tangia kakelokan sia kakadakean, sangadinna roti tang diragii, iamotu kamalinoan penaa sia kamanapparan.
9 Mangkamo kusura’ lan tu sura’ku mati’ umpalakui kumua da’ misirau-rau tu to ma’gau’ sala;
10 battuananna kumua: tangia mintu’ to ma’gau’ sala lan te lino, ba’tu to maduang lako ianan, ba’tu pakira-kira, ba’tu to umpenombai deata; belanna iake susito inang la tassu’komi lan mai lino.
11 Apa totemo kupalanangkomi sura’ kumua da misirau-rau tau, moi to disanga siulu’, ke to ma’gau’ sala ba’tu to maduang lako ianan, ba’tu to umpenombai deata, ba’tu to manura’, ba’tu to pa’malangoan ba’tu to pakira-kira: da’ mikumande sola tu to susito.
12 Belanna apara patungku umpaolai pangra’ta’ tu to salian? To tang lan mannaraka kombongan mipaolai pangra’ta’?
13 Apa iatu to salian Puang Matua la umpaolai salunna. Toyanganni tu to kadake lan mai kombongammi.

Immoral Followers
1 t I have heard terrible things about some of you. In fact, you are behaving worse than Gentiles. A man is even sleeping with his own stepmother.t
2 You are proud, when you ought to feel bad enough to chase away anyone who acts like this.
3-4 I am with you only in my thoughts. But in the name of our Lord Jesus I have already judged this man, as though I were with you in person. So when you meet together and the power of the Lord Jesus is with you, I will be there too.
5 You must then hand that man over to Satan. His body will be destroyed, but his spirit will be saved when the Lord Jesus returns.
6 t Stop being proud! Don't you know how a little yeast can spread through the whole batch of dough? 7 t Get rid of the old yeast! Then you will be like fresh bread made without yeast, and this is what you are. Our Passover lamb is Christ, who has already been sacrificed.
8 t So don't celebrate the festival by being evil and sinful, which is like serving bread made with yeast. Be pure and truthful and celebrate by using bread made without yeast.
9 In my other lettert I told you not to have anything to do with immoral people. 10 But I wasn't talking about the people of this world. You would have to leave this world to get away from everyone who is immoral or greedy or who cheats or worships idols. 11 I was talking about your own people who are immoral or greedy or worship idols or curse others or get drunk or cheat. Don't even eat with them! 12 Why should I judge outsiders? Aren't we supposed to judge only church members? 13 t God judges everyone else. The Scriptures say, “Chase away any of your own people who are evil.”
