Первое послание к Коринфянам 6

1 Смеет ли кто от вас, вещь имея ко иному, судитися от неправедных, а не от святых?2 Не весте ли, яко святии мирови имут судити? и аще вами суд приимет мир, недостойни есте судищем худым?3 Не весте ли, яко аггелов судити имамы, а не точию житейских?4 Житейская бо судища аще имате, уничиженных в Церкви, сих посаждаете.5 К сраму вам глаголю: тако ли несть в вас мудр ни един, иже может разсудити между братий своих?6 Но брат с братом судится, и то пред неверными.7 Уже убо отнюд вам срам есть, яко тяжбы имате между собою. Почто не паче обидими есте? почто не паче лишени бываете?8 Но вы (сами) обидите и лишаете, да еще братию.9 Или не весте, яко неправедницы Царствия Божия не наследят? Не льстите себе: ни блудницы, ни идолослужителе, ни прелюбодее, (ни сквернителе,) ни малакии, ни мужеложницы,10 ни лихоимцы, ни татие, ни пияницы, ни досадителе, ни хищницы Царствия Божия не наследят.11 И сими (убо) нецыи бесте, но омыстеся, но освятистеся, но оправдистеся именем Господа нашего Иисуса Христа и духом Бога нашего.12 Вся ми леть суть, но не вся на пользу: вся ми леть суть, но не аз обладан буду от чего.13 Брашна чреву, и чрево брашном: Бог же и сие и сия упразднит. Тело же не блужению, но Господеви, и Господь телу.14 Бог же и Господа воздвиже, и нас воздвигнет силою своею.15 Не весте ли, яко телеса ваша удове Христовы суть? Вземь ли убо уды Христовы, сотворю уды блудничи? Да не будет.16 Или не весте, яко прилепляяйся сквернодейце едино тело есть (с блудодейцею)? будета бо, рече, оба в плоть едину.17 Прилепляяйся же Господеви един дух есть (с Господем).18 Бегайте блудодеяния: всяк (бо) грех, егоже аще сотворит человек, кроме тела есть: а блудяй во свое тело согрешает.19 Или не весте, яко телеса ваша храм живущаго в вас святаго духа суть, егоже имате от Бога, и несте свои?20 куплени бо есте ценою. Прославите убо Бога в телесех ваших и в душах ваших, яже суть Божия.

1 Corinthians 6

Lawsuits

1 When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the saints?2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to settle trivial suits?3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters!4 So if you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint as judges those who have no standing in the church?t5 I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians?t6 Instead, does a Christian sue a Christian,t and do this before unbelievers?7 The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

8 But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters!t
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners,t practicing homosexuals,t10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive,t and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

11 Some of you once lived this way.t But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christs and by the Spirit of our God.

Flee Sexual Immorality

12 “All things are lawful for me”s – but not everything is beneficial. “All things are lawful for me” – but I will not be controlled by anything.13 “Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.”ts The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.14 Now God indeed raised the Lord and he will raise us by his power.15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!16 Or do you not know that anyone who is united witht a prostitute is one body with her?t For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”s17 But the one united witht the Lord is one spirit with him.t18 Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin a person commits is outside of the body”s – but the immoral person sins against his own body.19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,t whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.
