1 CORINTIOS 6
Pleitos ante jueces paganos
1 Cuando alguno de vosotros tiene un pleito contra otro, ¿por qué va a pedir justicia a jueces paganos, en vez de pedírsela a los del pueblo santo?t 2 ¿Acaso no sabéis que el pueblo santo ha de juzgar al mundo?t Y si habéis de juzgar al mundo, ¿cómo no sois capaces de juzgar estos asuntos tan pequeños? 3 ¿No sabéis que incluso a los ángeles habremos de juzgar? ¡Pues con mayor razón los asuntos de esta vida! 4 Así que, si tenéis pleitos por estos asuntos, ¿por qué escogéis como jueces a los que nada significan para la iglesia? 5 Para que os dé vergüenza lo digo: ¿Es que entre vosotros no hay ni uno siquiera con suficiente capacidad para juzgar un asunto entre sus hermanos?
6 ¡No solo pleitean unos hermanos con otros, sino que llevan sus pleitos ante jueces paganos!
7 Ya el simple hecho de tener pleitos entre vosotros es un grave defecto. ¿No sería mejor que soportarais la injusticia? ¿No sería mejor que os dejarais robar?t
8 ¡Pero vosotros, por el contrario, cometéis injusticias y robáis a vuestros propios hermanos!
9-10 ¿No sabéis que los malvados no tendrán parte en el reino de Dios? No os dejéis engañar, pues en el reino de Dios no tendrán parte los que cometen inmoralidades sexuales, ni los idólatras, ni los que cometen adulterio, ni los afeminados, ni los homosexuales, ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los borrachos, ni los difamadores, ni los tramposos.t
11 Esto erais antes algunos de vosotros; pero ahora ya habéis recibido el baño de la purificación,t y habéis sido santificados y hechos justost en el nombre del Señor Jesucristot y por el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.tEl uso correcto de la libertad
12 Se dice: “Yo soy libre de hacer lo que quiera.” Es cierto, pero no todo conviene.t Sí, yo soy libre de hacer lo que quiera, pero no debo dejar que nada me domine. 13 También se dice: “La comida es para el estómago y el estómago para la comida.”t Es cierto, aunque Dios va a terminar con ambas cosas. En cambio, no es verdad que el cuerpo sea para la inmoralidad sexual, sino que el cuerpo es para el Señor y el Señor es para el cuerpo.t
14 Y así como Dios resucitó al Señor, también nos resucitará a nosotros por su poder.t
15 ¿Acaso no sabéis que vuestro cuerpo es parte del cuerpo de Cristo?t ¿Y habré de tomar yo esta parte del cuerpo de Cristo para hacerla parte del cuerpo de una prostituta? ¡De ninguna manera! 16 ¿No sabéis que cuando un hombre se une con una prostituta, los dos se hacen un solo cuerpo? Porque la Escritura dice: “Los dos serán como una sola persona.”t
17 Pero cuando alguien se une al Señor, se hace espiritualmente uno con él.
18 Huid, pues, de la inmoralidad sexual. Ningún otro pecado afecta al cuerpo de la persona que lo comete, pero el que comete inmoralidades sexuales peca contra su propio cuerpo. 19 ¿No sabéis que vuestro cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo que Dios os ha dado, y que el Espíritu Santo vive en vosotros?t No sois vosotros vuestros propios dueños,
20 porque Dios os ha comprado por un precio.t Por eso debéis honrar a Dios en el cuerpo.

Lawsuits
1 When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the saints?2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to settle trivial suits?3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters!4 So if you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint as judges those who have no standing in the church?t5 I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians?t6 Instead, does a Christian sue a Christian,t and do this before unbelievers?7 The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?
8 But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters!t
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners,t practicing homosexuals,t10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive,t and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.
11 Some of you once lived this way.t But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christs and by the Spirit of our God.
Flee Sexual Immorality
12 “All things are lawful for me”s – but not everything is beneficial. “All things are lawful for me” – but I will not be controlled by anything.13 “Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.”ts The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.14 Now God indeed raised the Lord and he will raise us by his power.15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!16 Or do you not know that anyone who is united witht a prostitute is one body with her?t For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”s17 But the one united witht the Lord is one spirit with him.t18 Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin a person commits is outside of the body”s – but the immoral person sins against his own body.19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,t whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
20 For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.
