1. Korinther 6

1 Darf t jemand unter euch, der eine Sache wider den anderen hat, rechten vor den Ungerechten und nicht vor den Heiligen?2 Oder wisset ihr nicht, daß die Heiligen die Welt richten werden? Und wenn durch euch t die Welt gerichtet wird, seid ihr unwürdig, über die geringsten Dinge zu richten? t3 Wisset ihr nicht, daß wir Engel richten werden? geschweige denn Dinge dieses Lebens.4 Wenn ihr nun über Dinge dieses Lebens zu richten habt, so setzet diese dazu, die gering geachtet sind t in der Versammlung.5 Zur Beschämung sage ich’s euch. Also nicht ein Weiser ist unter euch, auch nicht einer, der zwischen seinen Brüdern t zu entscheiden vermag?6 sondern es rechtet Bruder mit Bruder, und das vor Ungläubigen!7 Es ist nun schon überhaupt ein Fehler an euch, daß ihr Rechtshändel miteinander habt. Warum laßt ihr euch nicht lieber unrecht tun? Warum laßt ihr euch nicht lieber übervorteilen? t

8 Aber ihr tut unrecht und übervorteilt, und das Brüder!
9 Oder wisset ihr nicht, daß Ungerechte das Reich Gottes nicht ererben werden? Irret euch nicht! Weder Hurer, noch Götzendiener, noch Ehebrecher, noch Weichlinge, t noch Knabenschänder,10 noch Diebe, noch Habsüchtige, noch Trunkenbolde, noch Schmäher, noch Räuber werden das Reich Gottes ererben.

11 Und solches sind euer etliche gewesen; aber ihr seid abgewaschen, aber ihr seid geheiligt, aber ihr seid gerechtfertigt worden in dem Namen des Herrn Jesus und durch den t Geist unseres Gottes.
12 Alles ist mir erlaubt, aber nicht alles ist nützlich. Alles ist mir erlaubt, aber ich will mich von keinem überwältigen lassen.13 Die Speisen für den Bauch, und der Bauch für die Speisen; Gott aber wird sowohl diesen als jene zunichte machen. Der Leib aber nicht für die Hurerei, sondern für den Herrn, und der Herr für den Leib.14 Gott aber hat sowohl den Herrn auferweckt, als er auch uns auferwecken t wird durch seine Macht.15 Wisset ihr nicht, daß eure Leiber Glieder Christi sind? Soll ich denn die Glieder Christi nehmen und zu Gliedern einer Hure machen? Das sei ferne!16 Oder wisset ihr nicht, daß, wer der Hure anhängt, ein Leib mit ihr ist? "Denn es werden", spricht er, "die zwei ein t Fleisch sein." t17 Wer aber dem Herrn anhängt, ist ein Geist mit ihm.18 Fliehet die Hurerei! Jede Sünde, die ein Mensch begehen mag, ist außerhalb des Leibes; wer aber hurt, sündigt wider seinen eigenen Leib.19 Oder wisset ihr nicht, daß euer Leib der Tempel des Heiligen Geistes ist, der in euch wohnt, den ihr von Gott habt, und daß ihr nicht euer selbst seid?

20 Denn ihr seid um einen Preis erkauft worden; verherrlichet nun Gott in eurem Leibe.

1 Corinthians 6

Lawsuits

1 When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the saints?2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to settle trivial suits?3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters!4 So if you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint as judges those who have no standing in the church?t5 I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians?t6 Instead, does a Christian sue a Christian,t and do this before unbelievers?7 The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

8 But you yourselves wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters!t
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners,t practicing homosexuals,t10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive,t and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

11 Some of you once lived this way.t But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christs and by the Spirit of our God.

Flee Sexual Immorality

12 “All things are lawful for me”s – but not everything is beneficial. “All things are lawful for me” – but I will not be controlled by anything.13 “Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.”ts The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.14 Now God indeed raised the Lord and he will raise us by his power.15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!16 Or do you not know that anyone who is united witht a prostitute is one body with her?t For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”s17 But the one united witht the Lord is one spirit with him.t18 Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin a person commits is outside of the body”s – but the immoral person sins against his own body.19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,t whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.
