1 Corintios 6

El Cristiano y los Tribunales Civiles

1 ¿Se atreve alguno de ustedes, cuando tiene algo contra su prójimo, a ir a juicio ante los incrédulos y no ante los santos?2 ¿O no saben que los santos han de juzgar al mundo? Y si el mundo es juzgado por ustedes, ¿no son competentes para juzgar los casos más sencillos?3 ¿No saben que hemos de juzgar a los ángeles? ¡Cuánto más asuntos de esta vida!4 Entonces, si tienen tribunales que juzgan los casos de esta vida, ¿ por qué ponen por jueces a los que nada son en la iglesia?5 Para vergüenza suya lo digo. ¿ Acaso no hay entre ustedes algún hombre sabio que pueda juzgar entre sus hermanos,

6 sino que hermano contra hermano litiga, y esto ante incrédulos?
7 Así que, en efecto, es ya un fallo entre ustedes el hecho de que tengan litigios entre sí. ¿Por qué no sufren mejor la injusticia? ¿Por qué no ser mejor defraudados?

8 Por el contrario, ustedes mismos cometen injusticias y defraudan, y esto aun a sus propios hermanos.
9 ¿O no saben que los injustos no heredarán el reino de Dios? No se dejen engañar: ni los inmorales, ni los idólatras, ni los adúlteros, ni los afeminados, ni los homosexuales,10 ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los borrachos, ni los difamadores, ni los estafadores heredarán el reino de Dios.

11 Y esto eran algunos de ustedes; pero fueron lavados, pero fueron santificados, pero fueron justificados en el nombre del Señor Jesucristo y en el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.

El Cuerpo es Templo del Espíritu Santo

12 Todas las cosas me son lícitas, pero no todas son de provecho. Todas las cosas me son lícitas, pero yo no me dejaré dominar por ninguna.13 Los alimentos son para el estómago y el estómago para los alimentos, pero Dios destruirá a los dos. Sin embargo, el cuerpo no es para la fornicación, sino para el Señor, y el Señor es para el cuerpo.

14 Y Dios, que resucitó al Señor, también nos resucitará a nosotros mediante Su poder.
15 ¿No saben que sus cuerpos son miembros de Cristo (el Mesías)? ¿Tomaré, acaso, los miembros de Cristo y los haré miembros de una ramera? ¡De ningún modo!16 ¿O no saben que el que se une a una ramera es un cuerpo con ella? Porque El dice: "Los dos vendran a ser una sola carne."

17 Pero el que se une al Señor, es un espíritu con El .
18 Huyan de la fornicación. Todos los demás pecados que un hombre comete están fuera del cuerpo, pero el fornicario peca contra su propio cuerpo.19 ¿O no saben que su cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo que está en ustedes, el cual tienen de Dios, y que ustedes no se pertenecen a sí mismos?20 Porque han sido comprados por un precio. Por tanto, glorifiquen a Dios en su cuerpo y en su espíritu, los cuales son de Dios.

1 Corinthians 6

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?2 Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?4 If then ye have to judge things pertaining to this life, do ye set them to judge who are of no account in the church?5 I say this to move you to shame. What, cannot there be found among you one wise man who shall be able to decide between his brethren,6 but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?7 Nay, already it is altogether a defect in you, that ye have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather take wrong? why not rather be defrauded?8 Nay, but ye yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.9 Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.12 All things are lawful for me; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any.13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall bring to nought both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:14 and God both raised the Lord, and will raise up as through his power.15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.16 Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;20 for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.
