การว่าความกันต่อหน้าคนที่ไม่เชื่อ
1 เมื่อมีใครในพวกท่านเป็นความกัน เขากล้าไปรับการพิพากษาจากคนไม่ชอบธรรม แทนที่จะรับจากธรรมิกชนหรือ? 2 ท่านทั้งหลายรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าธรรมิกชนจะพิพากษาโลก? และถ้าพวกท่านจะพิพากษาโลก ท่านไม่เหมาะจะพิพากษาเรื่องเล็กน้อยหรือ? 3 พวกท่านรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าเราจะพิพากษาพวกทูตสวรรค์? ถ้าเช่นนั้นก็ยิ่งควรจะพิพากษาเรื่องของชีวิตนี้ 4 เมื่อเป็นความกันในเรื่องชีวิตนี้ พวกท่านจะตั้งคนที่คริสตจักรไม่ยอมรับให้ตัดสินหรือ? 5 ข้าพเจ้ากล่าวเช่นนี้ ก็เพื่อให้ท่านละอายใจ ในพวกท่านไม่มีสักคนหนึ่งที่มีสติปัญญาสามารถวินิจฉัยเรื่องระหว่างพี่น้องหรือ? 6 แต่พี่น้องกับพี่น้องต้องถูกพิพากษาต่อหน้าคนที่ไม่มีความเชื่ออย่างนั้นหรือ?
7 อันที่จริง เมื่อไปเป็นความกันพวกท่านก็ตกจากระดับที่ควร ทำไมท่านจึงไม่ยอมทนต่อการร้ายเสียดีกว่า? ทำไมท่านจึงไม่ยอมถูกโกงเสียดีกว่า? 8 แต่พวกท่านกลับทำร้ายกัน และโกงกันแม้กระทั่งพี่น้อง
9 ท่านทั้งหลายรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าคนไม่ชอบธรรมจะไม่มีส่วนในแผ่นดินของพระเจ้า? อย่าหลงผิดเลย พวกที่ล่วงประเวณี พวกไหว้รูปเคารพ พวกผิดผัวผิดเมีย พวกโสเภณีชาย พวกรักร่วมเพศ 10 พวกขโมย พวกที่โลภ พวกขี้เมา พวกชอบกล่าวร้าย พวกฉ้อโกง จะไม่มีส่วนในแผ่นดินของพระเจ้า 11 มีบางคนในพวกท่านเคยเป็นอย่างนี้ แต่ท่านทั้งหลายได้รับการล้างชำระแล้ว ได้รับการชำระให้บริสุทธิ์แล้ว และได้รับการชำระให้ชอบธรรมแล้วโดยพระนามของพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าและโดยพระวิญญาณแห่งพระเจ้าของเรา
ถวายพระเกียรติแด่พระเจ้าด้วยกายของตน
12 “ข้าพเจ้าทำทุกสิ่งได้”t แต่ไม่ใช่ทุกสิ่งนั้นเป็นประโยชน์ “ข้าพเจ้าทำทุกสิ่งได้” แต่ข้าพเจ้าไม่ยอมอยู่ใต้อำนาจของสิ่งใดเลย 13 “อาหารมีไว้สำหรับท้อง และท้องก็สำหรับอาหาร” แต่พระเจ้าจะทรงให้ทั้งท้องและอาหารสูญสิ้นไป ร่างกายนั้นไม่ได้มีไว้สำหรับการล่วงประเวณี แต่มีไว้สำหรับองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ามีไว้สำหรับร่างกาย 14 พระเจ้าทรงทำให้องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเป็นขึ้นมา และพระองค์จะทรงทำให้เราเป็นขึ้นมาโดยฤทธานุภาพของพระองค์ 15 พวกท่านรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าร่างกายของท่านเป็นอวัยวะของพระคริสต์? เพราะฉะนั้น ข้าพเจ้าจะเอาอวัยวะของพระคริสต์ มาทำเป็นอวัยวะของหญิงโสเภณีได้หรือ? อย่าให้เป็นอย่างนั้นเลย 16 ท่านทั้งหลายรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่าคนที่ผูกพันกับหญิงโสเภณีก็เป็นร่างกายเดียวกับนาง? เพราะว่ามีคำกล่าวไว้ว่า “เขาทั้งสองจะเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน” t 17 แต่คนที่ผูกพันกับองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ก็เป็นจิตวิญญาณเดียวกับพระองค์ 18 จงหลีกหนีจากการล่วงประเวณี บาปอย่างอื่นที่มนุษย์ทำนั้นเป็นบาปนอกกาย แต่คนที่ล่วงประเวณีนั้น ทำผิดต่อร่างกายของตนเอง 19 ท่านรู้แล้วไม่ใช่หรือว่า ร่างกายของพวกท่านเป็นวิหารของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ผู้สถิตในท่านt ผู้ซึ่งพวกท่านได้รับจากพระเจ้า และท่านทั้งหลายไม่ใช่เจ้าของตัวท่านเอง? 20 เพราะว่าพระเจ้าทรงซื้อท่านไว้แล้วด้วยราคาสูง ฉะนั้น จงถวายพระเกียรติแด่พระเจ้าด้วยร่างกายของพวกท่านเถิด
1 Corinthians 6
1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?2 Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?4 If then ye have to judge things pertaining to this life, do ye set them to judge who are of no account in the church?5 I say this to move you to shame. What, cannot there be found among you one wise man who shall be able to decide between his brethren,6 but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?7 Nay, already it is altogether a defect in you, that ye have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather take wrong? why not rather be defrauded?8 Nay, but ye yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.9 Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.12 All things are lawful for me; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any.13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall bring to nought both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:14 and God both raised the Lord, and will raise up as through his power.15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.16 Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;20 for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.
