1 CORINTIOS 6

Arreglemos los problemas entre nosotros

1 Cuando alguno de ustedes tenga un problema serio con otro miembro de la iglesia, no debe pedirle a un juez de este mundo que lo solucione. Más bien debe pedírselo a un juez de la iglesia.2 Porque, en el juicio final, el pueblo de Dios será el que juzgue al mundo. Y si ustedes van a juzgar al mundo, también pueden juzgar los problemas menos importantes.3 Si vamos a juzgar a los ángeles mismos, ¡con mayor razón podemos juzgar los problemas de esta vida!4 ¿Por qué tratan de resolver esos problemas con jueces que no pertenecen a la iglesia?5 Les digo esto para que les dé vergüenza. Entre ustedes hay gente sabia, que puede juzgar y solucionar los problemas.

6 Pero ustedes no sólo pelean el uno contra el otro, ¡sino que hasta buscan jueces que no creen en Jesús, para solucionar sus pleitos!
7 En sus peleas, los únicos que salen perdiendo son ustedes mismos. Vale más ser maltratado y robado,

8 que robar y maltratar. Pero ustedes hacen lo contrario: ¡se maltratan y se roban entre ustedes mismos!
9-10 No se dejen engañar. Ustedes bien saben que los que hacen lo malo no participarán en el reino de Dios. Me refiero a los que tienen relaciones sexuales prohibidas, t a los que adoran a los ídolos, a los que son infieles en el matrimonio, a los afeminados, a los hombres que tienen relaciones sexuales con otros hombres, a los ladrones, a los que siempre quieren más de lo que tienen, a los borrachos, a los que hablan mal de los demás, y a los tramposos. Ninguno de ellos participará del reino de Dios.

11 Y algunos de ustedes eran así. Pero Dios les perdonó esos pecados, los limpió y los hizo parte de su pueblo. Todo esto fue posible por el poder del Señor Jesucristo y del Espíritu de nuestro Dios.

Agrademos a Dios con todo lo que somos

12 Algunos de ustedes dicen: «Soy libre de hacer lo que yo quiera.» ¡Claro que sí! Pero no todo lo que uno quiere, conviene; por eso no permito que nada me domine.13 También dicen: «La comida es para el estómago, y el estómago es para la comida.» ¡Claro que sí! Pero Dios va a destruir las dos cosas. En cambio, el cuerpo no es para que lo usemos en relaciones sexuales prohibidas. Al contrario, debemos usarlo para servir al Señor Jesús, pues nuestro cuerpo es de él.

14 Y así como Dios hizo que Jesucristo resucitara, así también a nosotros nos dará vida después de la muerte, pues tiene el poder para hacerlo.
15 Ustedes saben que cada uno de ustedes forma parte de la iglesia, que es el cuerpo de Cristo. No está bien que una parte de ese cuerpo, que es la iglesia de Cristo, se junte con una prostituta,16 pues al tener relaciones sexuales con ella, se hace un solo cuerpo con ella. Así lo dice la Biblia: «Los dos serán una sola persona.»

17 En cambio, quien se une al Señor Jesús se hace un solo cuerpo espiritual con él.
18 No tengan relaciones sexuales prohibidas. Ese pecado le hace más daño al cuerpo que cualquier otro pecado.19 El cuerpo de ustedes es como un templo, y en ese templo vive el Espíritu Santo que Dios les ha dado. Ustedes no son sus propios dueños.

20 Cuando Dios los salvó, en realidad los compró, y el precio que pagó por ustedes fue muy alto. Por eso deben dedicar su cuerpo a honrar y agradar a Dios.

1 Corinthians 6

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?2 Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?4 If then ye have to judge things pertaining to this life, do ye set them to judge who are of no account in the church?5 I say this to move you to shame. What, cannot there be found among you one wise man who shall be able to decide between his brethren,6 but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?7 Nay, already it is altogether a defect in you, that ye have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather take wrong? why not rather be defrauded?8 Nay, but ye yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.9 Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.12 All things are lawful for me; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any.13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall bring to nought both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:14 and God both raised the Lord, and will raise up as through his power.15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.16 Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;20 for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.
