1 Coríntios 6

Julgando problemas entre cristãos

1 Quando algum de vocês tem uma queixa contra uma outra pessoa, por que vai aos juízes, que não são justos perante Deus? Por que não deixa o povo de Deus decidir quem tem razão?2 Vocês não sabem que o povo de Deus vai julgar o mundo? E se vocês vão julgar o mundo, não são por acaso capazes de julgar as coisas mínimas?3 Não sabem que julgaremos até os anjos? Quanto mais, então, as coisas desta vida!4 Entretanto, quando vocês têm desacordos para serem julgados, por que vocês levam estas coisas para homens que não têm nenhuma aceitação na igreja?5 Digo isto para deixar vocês envergonhados. Será que não há pelo menos um entre vocês, que tenha bastante sabedoria para julgar desacordos entre irmãos?

6 Mas um irmão leva ao tribunal outro irmão, e vocês deixam que pessoas que não acreditam em Cristo os julguem!
7 Só o fato de haver processos entre irmãos, já é completa derrota para vocês. Não seria melhor vocês sofrerem a injustiça? Não seria melhor vocês se deixarem roubar?

8 Mas vocês mesmos cometem injustiça e roubam uns aos outros, e fazem isto aos próprios irmãos em Cristo!
9-10 Vocês não sabem que os injustos não herdarão o reino de Deus? Não se enganem! Nem os que são sexualmente imorais, nem os adoradores de falsos deuses, nem os adúlteros, nem os efeminados, nem os que cometem atos sexuais com outros homens, nem os que roubam, nem os avarentos, nem os bêbados, nem os que falam mal dos outros, nem os enganadores vão herdar o reino de Deus.

11 Assim eram alguns de vocês. Mas vocês foram lavados, dedicados ao serviço de Deus, e declarados justos diante de Deus, em nome do Senhor Jesus Cristo e pelo Espírito do nosso Deus.

Usem o corpo de vocês para a glória de Deus

12 "Posso fazer todas as coisas que eu quiser", mas nem todas são boas para mim. "Posso fazer todas as coisas que eu quiser", mas não me deixarei dominar por nenhuma delas.13 É verdade que "os alimentos são para o estômago e o estômago para os alimentos". Mas Deus vai destruir os dois. Porém o corpo não é para a imoralidade sexual. O corpo é para o Senhor e o Senhor é para o corpo.14 Deus ressuscitou ao Senhor e também nos ressuscitará pelo seu poder.15 Vocês não sabem que os seus corpos são partes do corpo de Cristo? Por acaso eu vou pegar as partes do corpo de Cristo e uni-las a uma prostituta? De maneira nenhuma!16 Ou vocês não sabem que o homem que se une à prostituta forma um só corpo com ela? As Escriturast dizem: Eles se tornarão um só corpot.

17 Mas aquele que se une ao Senhor, é um com o Senhor em espírito.
18 Fujam da imoralidade sexual! Qualquer outro pecado que uma pessoa cometer, é fora do corpo. Mas aquele que comete imoralidade sexual, peca contra o próprio corpo.19 Vocês não sabem que os seus corpos são templos do Espírito Santot, o qual está em vocês e foi dado por Deus? Vocês não pertencem a vocês mesmos!

20 Vocês foram comprados por um preço, portanto dêem glória a Deus com seus corpos.

1 Corinthians 6

Lawsuits Discouraged

1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints?2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?4 So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church?5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren,6 but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?

7 Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?8 On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your brethren.

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor teffeminate, nor homosexuals,10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

The Body Is the Lord's

12 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.13 Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.14 Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!16 Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, "THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH."17 But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18 Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
