อาหาร_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ

1 ตอน_นี้ ผม_ขอ_พูด_ถึง_เรื่อง_ที่_พี่_น้อง_เขียน_มา เรื่อง_เนื้อ_สัตว์_ที่_เอา_มา_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ เรา_รู้_ว่า “เรา ต่าง_ก็_มี_ความ_รู้” ความ_รู้_นั้น_ทำ_ให้_คน_ลำพอง แต่_ความ_รัก_นั้น_เสริม_สร้าง_ขึ้น_มา

2 ถ้า_ใคร_คิด_ว่า_เขา_รู้_อะไร_แล้ว เขา_ก็_ยัง_ไม่_รู้_ตาม_ที่_เขา_ควร_จะ_รู้_หรอก

3 แต่_ถ้า_ใคร_รัก_พระเจ้า พระเจ้า_ก็_จะ_รู้จัก_คน_นั้น

4 ดัง_นั้น พูด_ถึง_เนื้อ_สัตว์_ที่_เอา_มา_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ_นั้น เรา_รู้_อยู่_แล้ว_ว่า “พวก_รูป_เคารพ_ใน_โลก_นั้น_ไร้_สาระ” แล้ว_ก็ “มี_พระเจ้า_เที่ยง_แท้_เพียง_องค์_เดียว_เท่า_นั้น”

5 ถึง_แม้_จะ_มี_สิ่ง_ที่_คน_เรียกว่า_พระเจ้า ไม่ว่า_จะ_ใน_สวรรค์_หรือ_บน_โลก_นี้_ก็_ตาม (จริงๆ_แล้ว_มี_สิ่ง_ที่_คน_เรียกว่า_“พระ”_ว่า_“เจ้า”_เต็ม_ไป_หมด)

6 แต่_สำหรับ_เรา_แล้ว_มี_พระเจ้า_เพียง_องค์_เดียว_เท่า_นั้น นั่น_คือ_พระบิดา_ผู้ที่_สร้าง_ทุก_สิ่ง_ทุก_อย่าง และ_เรา_ก็_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่_เพื่อ_พระองค์ และ_มี_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_เพียง_องค์_เดียว_เท่า_นั้น_คือ_พระ_เยซูคริสต์ พระเจ้า_สร้าง_ทุก_อย่าง_ผ่าน_ทาง_พระองค์ และ_พระเจ้า_ให้_ชีวิต_กับ_เรา_ผ่าน_ทาง_พระองค์_ด้วย

7 แต่_ไม่_ใช่_ทุก_คน_ที่_รู้_อย่าง_นี้ จน_ถึง_เดี๋ยว_นี้_ก็_ยัง_มี_บางคน_ที่_เคย_กราบ_ไหว้_รูป_เคารพ_มา_ก่อน เมื่อ_เขา_กิน_เนื้อ_สัตว์_ที่_ไป_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ_มา เขา_ก็_ยัง_คิด_ว่า_เป็น_เนื้อ_ที่_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ_ที่_มี_ชีวิต_จริงๆ ใจ_ที่_ขาด_ความ_รู้_ของ_เขา_นั้น_ก็_ฟ้อง_ว่า_เขา_ทำ_ผิด

8 แต่_อาหาร_ไม่_ทำ_ให้_เรา_ใกล้_ชิด_พระเจ้า_หรอก การ_กิน_ก็_ไม่_ทำ_ให้_เรา_ดี_ขึ้น_และ_การ_ไม่_กิน_ก็_ไม่_ทำ_ให้_เรา_เลว_ลง

9 แต่_ระวัง_ให้_ดี อย่า_ใช้_สิทธิ์_ของ_คุณ_ไป_ทำ_ให้_คน_ที่_ขาด_ความ_รู้_สะดุด_หลง_ไป_ทำ_บาป

10 เพราะ_ถ้า_เผอิญ_คน_ที่_ขาด_ความ_รู้_เกิด_ไป_เห็น_คุณ_ผู้ที่_มี_ความ_รู้_ใน_เรื่อง_นี้ กำลัง_กิน_อยู่_ใน_วัด_ที่_มี_รูป_เคารพt แล้ว_ไป_ทำ_ให้_เขา_เกิด_ความ_กล้า_ที่_จะ_กิน_เนื้อ_สัตว์_ที่_ใช้_บูชา_รูป_เคารพ_มา_บ้าง ทั้งๆที่_ใจ_ของ_เขา_ฟ้อง_ว่า_ผิด

11 ก็_จะ_กลาย_เป็น_ว่า_ความ_รู้_ของ_คุณ_นั้น_ได้_ไป_ทำลาย_พี่_น้อง_คน_นั้น_ของ_คุณ_ที่_พระ_เยซู_ได้_ตาย_แทนt

12 ถ้า_ทำ_อย่าง_นี้ คุณ_ก็_ได้_ทำ_บาป_ต่อ_พี่_น้อง_ของ_คุณ และ_ทำร้าย_ใจ_ที่_ขาด_ความ_รู้_ของ_เขา พวก_คุณ_ก็_ได้_ทำ_บาป_ต่อ_พระคริสต์_ด้วย

13 ดัง_นั้น ถ้า_อาหาร_ทำ_ให้_พี่_น้อง_ของ_ผม_ทำ_บาป ผม_ก็_จะ_ไม่_มี_วัน_กิน_เนื้อ_อีก เพื่อ_ผม_จะ_ได้_ไม่_เป็น_เหตุ_ทำ_ให้_พี่_น้อง_ของ_ผม_ทำ_บาป

1 Corinthians 8

Take Care with Your Liberty

1 Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.2 If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know;3 but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him.

4 Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that tthere is no such thing as an idol in the world, and that there is no God but one.5 For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords,6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

7 However not all men have this knowledge; but some, being accustomed to the idol until now, eat food as if it were sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.8 But food will not commend us to God; we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat.9 But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.10 For if someone sees you, who have knowledge, dining in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be strengthened to eat things sacrificed to idols?11 For through your knowledge he who is weak is ruined, the brother for whose sake Christ died.12 And so, by sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.13 Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble.
