Ayi matara na, ọ buru na agēme ka Ọ puta ìhè, ayi gābu ndi yiri Ya; n'ihi na ayi gāhu Ya otú Ọ di. 3 Onye ọ bula nke nwere olile-anya nka n'ebe Ọ nọ, ọ nēme kwa onwe-ya ka ọ di ọcha, dika Ya onwe-ya di ọcha. 4 Onye ọ bula nke nēme nmehie, ọ nēme kwa ihe nmebi iwu: nmehie bu kwa nmehie-iwu. 5 Unu mata-kwa-ra na emere ka Ya onwe-ya puta ìhè ka O we hichapu nmehie; nmehie adighi kwa nime Ya. 6 Onye ọ bula nke nānọgide nime Ya adighi-emehie: onye ọ bula nke nēmehie ahughi Ya anya mb͕e ọ bula, ọ maghi kwa Ya. 7 Umu-ntakirim, unu ekwela ka onye ọ bula duhie unu: onye nēme ezi omume bu onye ezi omume, dika Ya onwe-ya bu onye ezi omume: 8 onye nēme nmehie si n'ekwensu puta; n'ihi na ekwensu nēmehie site na mbu. Ihe eji me ka Ọkpara Chineke puta ìhè bu nka, ka O we la ọlu nile nke ekwensu n'iyì. 9 Onye ọ bula nke amuworo site na Chineke adighi-eme nmehie, n'ihi na nkpuru-Ya nādigide nime ya: ọ pughi kwa imehie, n'ihi na amuwo ya site na Chineke. 10 Nime nka ka umu Chineke bu ndi emeworo ka ha puta ìhè, ha na umu ekwensu: onye ọ bula nke nādighi-eme ezi omume esighi na Chineke puta, onye nke nādighi-ahu nwa-nna-ya n'anya esighi kwa na Ya puta. 11 N'ihi na nka bu ozi ahu unu nuru site na mbu, ka ayi hurita onwe-ayi n'anya:

12 ọ bughi dika Ken si buru onye si n'ajọ onye ahu puta, we b͕ue nwa-nne-ya. Ọ̀ bu kwa n'ihi gini ka o b͕uru ya? N'ihi na ọlu-ya jọrọ njọ, ma ọlu nke nwa-nne-ya ziri ezi.
13 Umu-nnam, ka ọ ghara iju unu anya ma ọ buru na uwa akpọ unu asì. 14 Ayi onwe-ayi matara na ayi esitewo n'ọnwu ba na ndu, n'ihi na ayi nāhu umu-nna-ayi n'anya. Onye nādighi-ahu n'anya nānọgide n'ọnwu. 15 Onye ọ bula nke nākpọ nwa-nna-ya asì bu ob͕u-madu: unu mata-kwa-ra na ọ dighi ob͕u-madu ọ bula nwere ndu ebighi-ebi nādigide nime ya. 16 Nime nka ka ayi maworo ihu-n'anya, n'ihi na Ya onwe-ya tọb͕ọrọ ndu-Ya n'ihi ayi: ayi onwe-ayi ji kwa ugwọ itọb͕ọ ndu-ayi n'ihi umu-nna-ayi. 17 Ma onye ọ bula nke nwere ihe uwa nka o ji biri, nke hu-kwa-ra nwa-nna-ya ka ọ nọ na nkpà, o we mechigide ya obi ebere ya, ìhunanya Chineke si aǹa digide nime ya? 18 Umu-ntakirim, ka ayi ghara ihu n'anya n'okwu, ma-ọbu n'ire; kama ka ayi nāhu n'anya n'ọlu na ezi-okwu. 19 Nime nka ka ayi gāmara na ayi bu ndi nke ezi-okwu ahu, me kwa ka obi-ayi kwenye ekwenye n'iru Ya, 20 n'ihe ọ bula nke obi-ayi nāma ayi ikpé nime ya; n'ihi na Chineke ka obi-ayi uku, Ọ ma-kwa-ra ihe nile. 21 Ndi m'huru n'anya, ọ buru na obi-ayi amaghi ayi ikpé, ayi nwere nkwuwa-okwu n'ebe Chineke nọ; 22 ihe ọ bula ayi nāriọ kwa, ayi nānata ya n'aka-Ya, n'ihi na ayi nēdebe ihe nile Ọ nyere n'iwu, ayi nēme kwa ihe nile nātọ utọ n'iru Ya. 23 Nka bu kwa ihe O nyere n'iwu, ka ayi kwere n'aha nke Ọkpara-Ya Jisus Kraist, hurita kwa onwe-ayi n'anya, dika O nyere ayi iwu. 24 Onye nēdebe kwa ihe nile O nyere n'iwu nānọgide nime Ya, Ya onwe-ya nānọgide kwa nime ya. Nime nka ka ayi makwara na Ọ nānọgide nime ayi, site na Mọ Nsọ ahu Nke O nyere ayi.

1 John 3

1 Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.2 Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.3 And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.4 Every one that doeth sin doeth also lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away sins; and in him is no sin.6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither knoweth him.7 My little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:8 he that doeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.9 Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God.10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.11 For this is the message which ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another:12 not as Cain was of the evil one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.13 Marvel not, brethren, if the world hateth you.14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not abideth in death.15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.16 Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.17 But whoso hath the world’s goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him?18 My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth.19 Hereby shall we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our heart before him:20 because if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God;22 and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.23 And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment.24 And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
