1. Johannes 5
1 Jeder, der glaubt, daß Jesus der Christus ist,t der ist aus Gott gezeugt. Und wer seinen Erzeugert liebt, der liebt auch den von ihm Erzeugten.t2 Daran erkennen wir, daß wir Gottes Kinder lieben, wenn wir Gott lieben und seine Gebote erfüllen.t3 Denn darin zeigt sich die Liebe zu Gott, daß wir seine Gebote halten. Und seine Gebote sind nicht schwer.4 Denn alles, was aus Gott erzeugt ist,t überwindet die Welt.t Und die Siegesmacht, die die Welt überwunden hat, ist unser Glaube.5 Wer ist der Weltüberwinder? Nur wer da glaubt: Jesus ist Gottes Sohn.6 Dieser hat seinen Weg genommen durch Wasser und Blut.t Jesus ist als der Christust auch immer noch wirksam, nicht durch das Wasser allein, sondern durch das Wasser und das Blut.t Auch der Geistt legt Zeugnis für ihn ab,t denn der Geist ist die Wahrheit.t7 So sind's denn drei, die Zeugnis geben:t8 der Geist, das Wasser und das Blut, und diese drei bezeugen die eine Wahrheit.t9 Nehmen wir schon der Menschen Zeugnis an, so steht Gottes Zeugnist noch viel höher.t Denn dies ist Gottes Zeugnis: er hat Zeugnis abgelegt von seinem Sohn.t10 Wer an den Sohn Gottes glaubt, der hat in der Gemeinschaft mit ihmt dies Zeugnis. Wer Gott nicht glaubt, der hat ihn damit zum Lügner gemacht: er hat ja nicht geglaubt an das Zeugnis, das Gott von seinem Sohn abgelegt.11 Und dies ist der Inhalt des Zeugnisses: "Gott hat uns das ewige Leben gegeben, und dieses Leben ist zu finden in der Gemeinschaft mit seinem Sohn."12 Wer den Sohn hat, der hat das Leben. Wer den Sohn Gottes nicht hat, der hat das Leben nicht.13 Diest schreibe ich euch, damit ihr wißt, daß ihr ewiges Leben habt: denn ihr glaubt ja an den Namen des Sohnes Gottes.t14 Dies zuversichtliche Vertrauen haben wir zu ihm:t Wenn wir nach seinem Willen um etwas bitten, so erhört er uns.15 Und wie wir wissen, daß er uns erhört auf unser Bitten, so wissen wir zugleich: wir werden das von ihm Erbetene auch sicherlich empfangen.16 Sieht einer, daß sein Bruder eine Sünde tut, die nicht zum Tod führt, so bete er für ihn, und Gott wird diesem Bruder Leben geben — das heißt solchen, die nicht eine Sünde tun, die zum Tod führt. Es gibt wirklich Sünde, die zum Tod führt. Ich rede nicht davon, daß man bei solcher Sünde bitte.17 Jede Ungerechtigkeit ist Sünde. Aber es gibt Sünde, die nicht zum Tod führt.t18 Wir wissen: wer aus Gott erzeugt ist, sündigt nicht; sondern der aus Gott Erzeugte ist auf seiner Hut, und der Böse tastet ihn nicht an.19 Wir wissen: wir sind aus Gott, und die ganze Welt liegt in der Gewalt des Bösen.t20 Wir wissen aber: der Sohn Gottes ist gekommen und hat uns Verständnis gegeben,t den Wahrhaftigent zu erkennen. Und wir stehen in Gemeinschaft mit dem Wahrhaftigen, weil wir in Gemeinschaft sind mit seinem Sohn Jesus Christus. Diesert ist der wahrhaftige Gott und das ewige Leben.t21 Liebe Kinder, hütet euch vor den Truggebilden!t
1 John 5
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.2 Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.5 And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.7 And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for the witness of God is this, that he hath borne witness concerning his Son.10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in him: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he hath not believed in the witness that God hath borne concerning his Son.11 And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.13 These things have I written unto you, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, even unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:15 and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.16 If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: not concerning this do I say that he should make request.17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.18 We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one.20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
