1 Onye ọ bula nke kwere na Jisus bu Kraist ahu, amuwo ya site na Chineke: ọzọ onye ọ bula nke nāhu Onye ahu Nke muru n'anya, ọ nāhu kwa onye ahu nke amuworo site na Ya n'anya. 2 Nime nka ka ayi mara na ayi nāhu umu Chineke n'anya, mb͕e ọ bula ayi nāhu Chineke n'anya, me kwa ihe nile O nyere n'iwu. 3 N'ihi na nka bu ihu-n'anya Chineke, ka ayi debe ihe nile O nyere n'iwu: ihe O nyere n'iwu adighi kwa arọ́. 4 N'ihi na ihe ọ bula nke amuworo site na Chineke nēmeri uwa: nka bu kwa nmeri nke meriworo uwa, bú okwukwe-ayi. 5 Ma ònye bu onye nēmeri uwa, ma-ọbughi onye ahu nke kwere na Jisus bu Ọkpara Chineke? 6 Nka bu Onye ahu Nke were miri na ọbara bia, bú Jisus Kraist; ọ bughi nání nime miri ahu, kama ọ bu nime miri ahu na nime ọbara ahu. 7 Ọ bu kwa Mọ Nsọ bu Onye nāb͕a àmà, n'ihi na Mọ ahu bu ezi-okwu. 8 N'ihi na ndi ahu ndi nāb͕a àmà di atọ, bú Mọ ahu, na miri ahu, na ọbara ahu: ha atọ diri ime otù ihe ahu. 9 Ọ buru na ayi anata àmà nke madu, àmà nke Chineke ka ya uku: n'ihi na àmà nke Chineke bu nka, na Ọ b͕awo àmà bayere Ọkpara-Ya. 10 Onye kwere n'Ọkpara Chineke nwere àmà ahu nime ya: onye nēkweghi okwu Chineke emewo Ya onye-ugha; n'ihi na o kweghi n'àmà ahu nke Chineke b͕aworo bayere Ọkpara-Ya. 11 Àmà ahu bu nka, na Chineke nyere ayi ndu ebighi-ebi, ndu ahu di nime Ọkpara-Ya.

12 Onye nwere Ọkpara ahu nwere ndu ahu; onye nēnweghi Ọkpara Chineke enweghi ndu ahu.
13 Ihe ndia ka m'degara unu n'akwukwọ, bú ndi kwere n'aha Ọkpara Chineke, ka unu we mata na unu nwere ndu ebighi-ebi. 14 Nkwuwa-okwu ahu nke ayi nwere n'ebe Ọ nọ bu nka, na ọ buru na ayi ariọ ihe ọ bula dika ọchichọ-Ya si di, Ọ nānu olu-ayi: 15 ọ buru kwa na ayi matara na Ọ nānu olu-ayi n'ihe ọ bula ayi nāriọ, ayi matara na ayi nwere ihe-aririọ ahu ayi riọ̀woro n'aka-Ya. 16 Ọ buru na onye ọ bula ahú nwa-nna-ya ka ọ nēmehie nmehie nke nādighi-eweta ọnwu, ọ gāriọ aririọ, Chineke gēnye kwa ya ndu inye ndi nēmehie nmehie ahu nke nādighi-eweta ọnwu. Nmehie di nke nēweta ọnwu: ọ bughi ekpere bayere nka ka m'nāgwa ya ka o kpe.

17 Ajọ omume nile bu nmehie: nmehie di kwa nke nādighi-eweta ọnwu.
18 Ayi matara na onye ọ bula nke amuworo site na Chineke adighi-emehie; kama Onye ahu Nke amuru Ya site na Chineke nēdebe ya, ajọ onye ahu adighi-emetu kwa ya aka. 19 Ayi matara na ayi bu ndi si na Chineke puta, uwa dum nātọb͕ọ kwa n'aka ajọ onye ahu. 20 Ma ayi matara na Ọkpara Chineke abiawo, nye kwa ayi uche, ka ayi we mara Onye-ezi-okwu ahu, ayi nọ kwa nime Onye-ezi-okwu ahu, nime Ọkpara-Ya, bú Jisus Kraist. Nka bu ezi Chineke, na ndu ebighi-ebi. 21 Umu-ntakirim, chenu onwe-unu nche ka unu ghara ikpere arusi.

1 John 5

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.2 Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.5 And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.7 And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for the witness of God is this, that he hath borne witness concerning his Son.10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in him: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he hath not believed in the witness that God hath borne concerning his Son.11 And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.13 These things have I written unto you, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, even unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:15 and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.16 If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: not concerning this do I say that he should make request.17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.18 We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one.20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
