ヨハネの第一の手紙 5

五

1 イエス様はキリスト、すなわち、神の子であり救い主であると信じるなら、その人は神様の子供です。　父なる神を愛する人はみな、神様の子供たちを愛するはずです。　2 そういうわけで、あなたがたが、どれだけ神様を愛し、従っているかで、神様の子供たちをどれだけ愛しているかがわかるのです。　3 神様を愛するとは、そのご命令を守ることです。　決して、むずかしいことではありません。　4 神様の子供たちはみな、神様に従います。　そして、キリスト様に信頼することによって助けを受け、罪と悪との楽しみに、打ち勝つことができるのです。
5 イエス様がほんとうに神の子であると信じる人以外に、この戦いに勝てる人はいません。　6-8 私たちは、イエス様が神の子であると知っています。　なぜなら、イエス様がバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けられた時、また、死を目前にされた時、天からの神様の声が、そのことを証言したからです。　さらに、永遠に真実であられる聖霊様も、そう証言しておられます。　ですから、私たちには三つの証言があるわけです。　すなわち、私たちの心の中で語られる聖霊様の声と、キリスト様がバプテスマを受けられた時の天からの声と、キリスト様の死の前に聞こえてきた声の、三つです。　この三つが一致して、イエス・キリストは神の子である、と証言しているのです。　9 私たちは、法廷での証人のことばを信じます。　では、なおさら、神様のことばを確信できるはずです。　神様自身がはっきりと、イエス様は神の子である、と宣言しておられるのですから。　10 このことを信じる人はみな、心でそう確信しています。　信じない人は、神様をうそつき呼ばわりしているのです。　神の子についての神様の証言を、信じようとしないからです。
11 神様の言われたこととは、何でしょう。　それは、神様が私たちに、永遠のいのちを与えてくださったこと、また、永遠のいのちが神の子のうちにあるということです。　12 そういうわけで、神の子を信じる人には、いのちがあり、信じない人にはないのです。
13 すでに神の子を信じているあなたがたに、このように書き送るのは、あなたがたには永遠のいのちがあることを自覚させたいからです。　14 私たちは、神様の心にかなうことを願い求めるなら、いつでもその願い事は聞き届けていただけると確信しています。　15 ですから、願い事をする時に、確かに神様が耳を傾けてくださっているとわかれば、神様は必ずその祈りに答えてくださる、と確信できるのです。
16 もし、罪を犯しているクリスチャンを見かけたら、その人が赦していただけるよう、祈ってやりなさい。　それが取り返しのつかない罪でなければ、神様は、彼のいのちを助けてくださいます。　しかし、死に至る罪があります。　そんな罪にはまり込んでいる人のためには、祈っても無意味です。　17 もちろん、すべての悪が罪であることに違いはありません。　しかし、私がここで取り上げているのは、いわゆる一般的な罪ではなく、死に至る罪のことです。
18 神様の家族の一員とされている人には、罪を犯す習慣はありません。　神の子キリスト様に、しっかりと支えられているので、悪者は手出しできないのです。　19 私たちは神様の子供ですが、周囲の世界は、悪魔の力の支配下にあることを、知っています。　20 また、神の子キリスト様が来られたことで、私たちに真の神様を知る力が与えられたことも、知っています。　ですから今、私たちは、ただ一人の真の神であり、永遠のいのちである神の子イエス・キリストのうちにいるのです。　21 愛する子供たちよ。　心の中に、神様に取って代わる何かがあるなら、すぐ取り除きなさい。

1 John 5

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.2 Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.5 And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.7 And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for the witness of God is this, that he hath borne witness concerning his Son.10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in him: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he hath not believed in the witness that God hath borne concerning his Son.11 And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.13 These things have I written unto you, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, even unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:15 and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.16 If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: not concerning this do I say that he should make request.17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.18 We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one.20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
