1 Pita, onye-ozi nke Jisus Kraist, nēdegara unu akwukwọ, bú ndi arọputaworo ndi bi dika ọbìa n'etiti Nb͕asa ahu nime Pọntọs, Galetia, Kapadọsia, Esia, na Bitinia,

2 ndi arọputaworo dika ọmuma-ihe Chineke buru uzọ mara si di, nime ido-nsọ nke Mọ Nsọ, ka unu we ṅa Jisus Kraist nti, ka ewe fesa kwa unu ọbara-Ya: Ka eme ka amara bara unu uba, ya na udo.
3 Onye agọziri agọzi ka Ọ bu, bú Chineke na Nna nke Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist, Onye muru ayi ọzọ, dika oké ebere-Ya si di, ka ayi we nwe olile-anya di ndu, site na nbilite ahu nke Jisus Kraist si na ndi mwuru anwu bilite, 4 ka ayi we keta nketa nke anāpughi imebi, nke anādighi-emeru kwa emeru, nke nādighi-atalata kwa, nke edebeworo n'elu-igwe nye unu, 5 ndi ewere ike nke Chineke nēche nche site n'okwukwe rue nzọputa nke edoziworo ikpughe n'oge ikpe-azu. 6 Nke obi nātọ unu utọ nke-uku nime ya, ọ bu ezie na emere ka o wuta unu n'ọnwunwa di iche iche nwa oge ub͕u a, ma asi na ọ di nkpà, 7 ka nnwaputa nke okwukwe-unu, ebe ọ dikariri ọla-edo oké ọnu-ahia nke-uku, bú ọla-edo nke nāla n'iyì, ọ bu ezie na anēji ọku nwaputa ya, ka ewe hu nnwaputa ahu na ọ nēweta otuto na ebube na nsọpuru nime nkpughe nke Jisus Kraist: 8 Onye unu huru n'anya, ọ bu ezie na unu ahughi Ya anya; Onye unu kwere na Ya, ọ bu ezie na unu adighi-ahu Ya anya ub͕u a, obi we nātọ unu utọ nke-uku n'ọṅù nke anāpughi ikwu okwu nke enyewo-kwa-ra ya otuto: 9 ebe unu nānata ihe okwukwe-unu gēweta, bú nzọputa nke nkpuru-obi-unu. 10 Ọ bu kwa nzọputa nka ka ndi-amuma chọrọ, nyocha kwa ihe bayere ya, bú ndi buru amuma bayere amara ahu nke gēru unu: 11 nēnyocha oge ọ bu ma-ọbu aha oge ọ bu, bú nke Mọ nke Kraist Nke si nime ha nēgosi, mb͕e O buru uzọ nāb͕a àmà bayere ahuhu nke Kraist, na ebube nile nke gēso ha.

12 Ndi ekpughere nye, na ọ bughi onwe-ha, kama ọ bu unu, ka ha ji ihe ndia jere ozi, bú ihe nke akọrọ unu ub͕u a site n'ọnu ndi ahu ndi zìri unu ozi ọma nka nime Mọ Nsọ eziputara n'elu-igwe; ihe ọ nāgu ndi-mọ-ozi inyocha ha.
13 N'ihi nka kenu ihe-ọkiké a n'úkwù nke uche-unu, nwe-kwa-nu anya-udo, lezu-kwa-nu anya okè n'amara nke anēwetara unu nime nkpughe nke Jisus Kraist; 14 dika umu nke iṅa-nti, unu eme-kwa-la onwe-unu ka unu di ka agu ihe ọjọ ahu si di, bú nke guru unu na mbu n'amaghi-ihe-unu: 15 kama dika Onye kpọrọ unu di nsọ, unu onwe-unu, ghọ-kwa-nu ndi di nsọ n'ibi-obi nile di iche iche; 16 n'ihi na edewo ya n'akwukwọ nsọ, si, Unu gādi nsọ; n'ihi na nsọ ka Mu onwem di. 17 Ọ buru kwa na unu akpọku Ya dika Nna, bú Onye nēkpe ikpé dika ọlu madu nile n'otù n'otù si di nēleghi madu anya n'iru, nēbinu obi n'egwu n'oge unu bi dika ọbìa: 18 ebe unu matara na ejighi ihe apuru imebi, bú ọla-ọcha ma-ọbu ọla-edo, b͕aputa unu n'ibi-obi efu unu nke nna-unu-hà nyere unu n'aka ibi; 19 kama eji ọbara di oké ọnu-ahia, dika nke nwa-aturu nke ọlu ma-ọbu ntupọ nādighi ya n'aru, bú ọbara nke Kraist: 20 Onye eburu uzọ mara n'ezie mb͕e akātọghi ntọ-ala nke uwa, ma emere ka Ọ puta ìhè n'ọgwugwu oge ndia n'ihi unu, 21 ndi sitere n'aka-Ya buru ndi kwere na Chineke, Onye mere ka O si na ndi nwuru anwu bilie, we nye Ya ebube; ka okwukwe-unu na olile-anya-unu we di n'ebe Chineke nọ. 22 Ebe unu meworo nkpuru-obi-unu ka ha di ọcha n'iṅa-nti nke unu ṅara ezi-okwu, iwere ihu-n'anya nke iru-abua nādighi ya hu umu-nna-unu n'anya, sitenu n'obi-unu hurita onwe-unu n'anya si-ike: 23 ebe amuworo unu ọzọ, esiteghi na nkpuru apuru imebi, kama esitere na nke anāpughi imebi, site n'okwu Chineke, nke di ndu, nke nādigide kwa, mu unu ọzọ.

24 N'ihi na,
Anu-aru nile di ka ahihia,
Ebube-ya nile di kwa ka uzari ahihia.
Ahihia akpọnwuwo, uzari-ya adapuwo kwa:

25 Ma okwu Onye-nwe-ayi nādigide rue mb͕e ebighi-ebi.
Nka bu kwa okwu nke ozi ọma ahu ezisara unu.

1 Peter 1

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect who are sojourners of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,4 unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,7 that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:8 whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:9 receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.10 Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:11 searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.12 To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angel desire to look into.13 Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;14 as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance:15 but like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living;16 because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.17 And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:18 knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers;19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ:20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of times for your sake,21 who through him are believers in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:23 having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.24 For, All flesh is as grass, And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:25 But the word of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word of good tidings which was preached unto you.
