رِسَالَةُ بُطْرُسَ ٱلرَّسُولِ ٱلْأُولَى 4
الحياة لله
1 فَإِذْ قَدْ تَأَلَّمَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ لِأَجْلِنَا بِٱلْجَسَدِ، تَسَلَّحُوا أَنْتُمْ أَيْضًا بِهَذِهِ ٱلنِّيَّةِ. فَإِنَّ مَنْ تَأَلَّمَ فِي ٱلْجَسَدِ، كُفَّ عَنِ ٱلْخَطِيَّةِ، 2 لِكَيْ لَا يَعِيشَ أَيْضًا ٱلزَّمَانَ ٱلْبَاقِيَ فِي ٱلْجَسَدِ، لِشَهَوَاتِ ٱلنَّاسِ، بَلْ لِإِرَادَةِ ٱللهِ. 3 لِأَنَّ زَمَانَ ٱلْحَيَاةِ ٱلَّذِي مَضَى يَكْفِينَا لِنَكُونَ قَدْ عَمِلْنَا إِرَادَةَ ٱلْأُمَمِ، سَالِكِينَ فِي ٱلدَّعَارَةِ وَٱلشَّهَوَاتِ، وَإِدْمَانِ ٱلْخَمْرِ، وَٱلْبَطَرِ، وَٱلْمُنَادَمَاتِ، وَعِبَادَةِ ٱلْأَوْثَانِ ٱلْمُحَرَّمَةِ، 4 ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يَسْتَغْرِبُونَ أَنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ تَرْكُضُونَ مَعَهُمْ إِلَى فَيْضِ هَذِهِ ٱلْخَلَاعَةِ عَيْنِهَا، مُجَدِّفِينَ. 5 ٱلَّذِينَ سَوْفَ يُعْطُونَ حِسَابًا لِلَّذِي هُوَ عَلَى ٱسْتِعْدَادٍ أَنْ يَدِينَ ٱلْأَحْيَاءَ وَٱلْأَمْوَاتَ.
6 فَإِنَّهُ لِأَجْلِ هَذَا بُشِّرَ ٱلْمَوْتَى أَيْضًا، لِكَيْ يُدَانُوا حَسَبَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْجَسَدِ، وَلَكِنْ لِيَحْيَوْا حَسَبَ ٱللهِ بِٱلرُّوحِ.
7 وَإِنَّمَا نِهَايَةُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِ ٱقْتَرَبَتْ، فَتَعَقَّلُوا وَٱصْحُوا لِلصَّلَوَاتِ. 8 وَلَكِنْ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، لِتَكُنْ مَحَبَّتُكُمْ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ شَدِيدَةً، لِأَنَّ ٱلْمَحَبَّةَ تَسْتُرُ كَثْرَةً مِنَ ٱلْخَطَايَا. 9 كُونُوا مُضِيفِينَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا بِلَا دَمْدَمَةٍ. 10 لِيَكُنْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ بِحَسَبِ مَا أَخَذَ مَوْهِبَةً، يَخْدِمُ بِهَا بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا، كَوُكَلَاءَ صَالِحِينَ عَلَى نِعْمَةِ ٱللهِ ٱلْمُتَنَوِّعَةِ.
11 إِنْ كَانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ أَحَدٌ فَكَأَقْوَالِ ٱللهِ. وَإِنْ كَانَ يَخْدِمُ أَحَدٌ فَكَأَنَّهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ يَمْنَحُهَا ٱللهُ، لِكَيْ يَتَمَجَّدَ ٱللهُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ بِيَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، ٱلَّذِي لَهُ ٱلْمَجْدُ وَٱلسُّلْطَانُ إِلَى أَبَدِ ٱلْآبِدِينَ. آمِينَ.الاشتراك في آلام المسيح
12 أَيُّهَا ٱلْأَحِبَّاءُ، لَا تَسْتَغْرِبُوا ٱلْبَلْوَى ٱلْمُحْرِقَةَ ٱلَّتِي بَيْنَكُمْ حَادِثَةٌ، لِأَجْلِ ٱمْتِحَانِكُمْ، كَأَنَّهُ أَصَابَكُمْ أَمْرٌ غَرِيبٌ، 13 بَلْ كَمَا ٱشْتَرَكْتُمْ فِي آلَامِ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، ٱفْرَحُوا لِكَيْ تَفْرَحُوا فِي ٱسْتِعْلَانِ مَجْدِهِ أَيْضًا مُبْتَهِجِينَ. 14 إِنْ عُيِّرْتُمْ بِٱسْمِ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، فَطُوبَى لَكُمْ، لِأَنَّ رُوحَ ٱلْمَجْدِ وَٱللهِ يَحِلُّ عَلَيْكُمْ. أَمَّا مِنْ جِهَتِهِمْ فَيُجَدَّفُ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَمَّا مِنْ جِهَتِكُمْ فَيُمَجَّدُ. 15 فَلَا يَتَأَلَّمْ أَحَدُكُمْ كَقَاتِلٍ، أَوْ سَارِقٍ، أَوْ فَاعِلِ شَرٍّ، أَوْ مُتَدَاخِلٍ فِي أُمُورِ غَيْرِهِ. 16 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ كَانَ كَمَسِيحِيٍّ، فَلَا يَخْجَلْ، بَلْ يُمَجِّدُ ٱللهَ مِنْ هَذَا ٱلْقَبِيلِ. 17 لِأَنَّهُ ٱلْوَقْتُ لِٱبْتِدَاءِ ٱلْقَضَاءِ مِنْ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ. فَإِنْ كَانَ أَوَّلًا مِنَّا، فَمَا هِيَ نِهَايَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُطِيعُونَ إِنْجِيلَ ٱللهِ؟ 18 وَ«إِنْ كَانَ ٱلْبَارُّ بِٱلْجَهْدِ يَخْلُصُ، فَٱلْفَاجِرُ وَٱلْخَاطِئُ أَيْنَ يَظْهَرَانِ؟» 19 فَإِذًا، ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَأَلَّمُونَ بِحَسَبِ مَشِيئَةِ ٱللهِ، فَلْيَسْتَوْدِعُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ، كَمَا لِخَالِقٍ أَمِينٍ، فِي عَمَلِ ٱلْخَيْرِ.
1 Peter 4
1 So, since Christ suffereds in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin,s2 in that he spends the rest of his timet on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.3 For the time that has passed was sufficient for you to do what the non-Christianst desire.t You lived thent in debauchery, evil desires, drunkenness, carousing, drinking bouts,t and wanton idolatries.t4 Sot they are astonishedt when you do not rush with them into the same flood of wickedness, and they vilify you.t5 They will face a reckoning beforet Jesus Christt who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 Now it was for this very purposet that the gospel was preached to those who are now dead,s so that thought they were judged in the flesht by human standardst they may live spirituallyt by God’s standards.t
Service, Suffering, and Judgment
7 For the culmination of all things is near. So be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of prayer.t8 Above all keept your love for one another fervent,t because love covers a multitude of sins.s9 Show hospitalityt to one another without complaining.10 Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one anothert as good stewards of the varied grace of God.
11 Whoever speaks, let it be witht God’s words.t Whoever serves, do so with the strengtht that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belongt the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
12 Dear friends, do not be astonishedt that a trial by fire is occurring among you,t as though something strange were happening to you.13 But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealedt you may also rejoice and be glad.t14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory,s who is the Spirit of God,trestss on you.15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or thief or criminal or as a troublemaker.t16 But if you suffer as a Christian,t do not be ashamed, but glorifyt God that you bear such a name.t17 For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the houset of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fatet of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?18 And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become oftthe ungodly and sinners?ts
19 So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.t
