1 Ya mere, ariọm ndi-okenye nọ n'etiti unu, onye mu onwem bu okenye-ibe-unu, ya na onye-àmà nke ahuhu nile nke Kraist, abukwam onye-nnwekọ nke ebube ahu nke agaje ikpughe: 2 Nāzùnu ìgwè aturu ntà Chineke nke di n'etiti unu, nēlekọta ha anya, ọ bughi n'ihi na nkpà nākpa unu, kama site n'ọchichọ obi, dika Chineke chọrọ; ọ bughi kwa n'ihi urù nēweta ihere, kama n'ihi na unu di ọku n'obi; 3 ọ bughi kwa dika agāsi na unu nēme ndi bu ihe-nketa dika unu bu ndi-nwe-ha, kama nēme onwe-unu ihe-atù ìgwè aturu ntà ahu gēṅomi. 4 Mb͕e agēme kwa ka Onye-isi-ọzùzù-aturu puta ìhè, unu gānata okpu-eze nke ebube ahu, nke nādighi-atalata. 5 Otú ahu, unu ndi bu nwata, donu onwe-unu n'okpuru ndi-okenye. Ma unu nile were obi di ume-ala ke onwe-unu dika ákwà, ijerita ibe-unu ozi: n'ihi na Chineke nēdo Onwe-ya imegide ndi-npako, ma Ọ nēnye ndi di ume-ala n'obi amara. 6 Ya mere wedanu onwe-unu n'okpuru aka di ike nke Chineke, ka O we welie unu elu n'oge nke Ya; 7 nātukwasinu Ya ncheb͕u nile unu nēcheb͕u onwe-unu, n'ihi na ihe nile bayere unu nēmetu Ya n'obi. 8 Nwenu anya-udo, nēchenu nche: onye ahu nke nēkuru unu ga ikpé, bú ekwensu, dika ọdum nāb͕ọ uja, ọ nējeghari, nāchọ onye o gēlomi: 9 ma nēguzogidenu ya, n'ihi na unu di ike n'okwukwe-unu, ebe unu matara na anēmezu otù ahuhu ahu n'aru ndi bu òtù umu-nna-unu ndi nọ n'uwa. 10 Ma Chineke nke amara nile, Onye kpọbatara unu n'ebube ebighi-ebi Ya nime Kraist, mb͕e unu huworo ahuhu nwa oge, Ya onwe-ya gēme ka unu zue okè, me kwa ka unu guzosie ike, me kwa ka unu di ike, tọ kwa unu ntọ-ala.

11 Ọ bu Ya nwe ike nile rue mb͕e nile ebighi-ebi. Amen.
12 Site n'aka Silvanọs, nwa-nna-ayi kwesiri ntukwasi-obi, dika m'nāgu ya, ka m'nēdegara unu akwukwọ n'okwu ole-na-ole, nāriọ unu, nāb͕a kwa àmà na nka bu amara Chineke n'ezie: nēguzosinu ike nime ya. 13 Nwanyi ahu nke nọ na Babilon, nke soro unu buru onye arọputaworo, nēkele unu; nwam, bú Mak, nēkele kwa unu.

14 Werenu isutu-ọnu nke ihu-n'anya nēkelerita onwe-unu.
Udo diri unu nile ndi nọ nime Kraist.

1 Peter 5

1 The elders among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:2 Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly, according to the will of God; nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;3 neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves ensamples to the flock.4 And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.5 Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.8 Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,9 whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.10 And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, establish, strengthen you.11 To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.12 By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account him, I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand ye fast therein.13 She that is in Babylon, elect together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Mark my son.14 Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be unto you all that are in Christ.
