I. NDI TESALỌNAIKA 4

1 Ya mere nke fọduru, umu-nna-ayi, ayi nēkpere unu, nāriọ kwa unu nime Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus, ka, dika unu natara n'aka-ayi otú unu nāghaghi ijeghari na ime ihe gātọ Chineke utọ, ọbuná dika unu nējeghari, ka unu nābabiga ókè nke-uku kari. 2 N'ihi na unu matara iwu nile ayi nyere unu site n'aka Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus. 3 N'ihi na nka bu ihe Chineke nāchọ, bú ka edo unu nsọ, ka unu ghara ikwa iko; 4 ka onye ọ bula nime unu matara otú ọ gēnwe nwunye nke aka ya n'odido-nsọ na nsọpuru, 5 ọ bughi n'ọchichọ ọjọ nke agu ihe ọjọ, ọbuná dika ndi mba ọzọ ndi nāmataghi Chineke; 6 ka onye ọ bula ghara ighọb͕u na irib͕u nwa-nna-ya n'ihe a: n'ihi na Onye-nwe-ayi bu onye nābọ̀ ọ́bọ̀ bayere ihe ndia nile, dika ayi bu-kwa-ra uzọ gwa unu gwasi kwa unu ike. 7 N'ihi na Chineke akpọghi ayi ka ayi buru ndi nādighi ọcha, kama n'odido-nsọ.

8 Ya mere onye nāju, ọ bughi madu ka ọ nāju, kama ọ bu Chineke, Onye nēnye Mọ Nsọ Ya ka Ọ ba nime unu.
9 Ma ọ dighi unu nkpà ka madu degara unu akwukwọ bayere ihunanya n'ebe umu-nna-unu nọ: n'ihi na unu onwe-unu bu ndi Chineke zíworo ihurita ibe-unu n'anya; 10 n'ihi na unu nēme ya n'ezie n'ebe umu-nna-ayi nile ndi bi na Masedọnia dum nọ. Ma ayi nāriọ unu, umu-nna-ayi, ka unu nābabiga ókè nke-uku kari; 11 ka unu nējisi kwa ike inọdu nwayọ, na ime ihe nile nke aka unu, na iji aka-unu lu ọlu, dika ayi nyere unu iwu;

12 ka unu we nējeghari dika o kwesiri unu n'ebe ha nọ, bú ndi nọ n'èzí, ka ihe ọ bula ghara kwa ikpa unu.
13 Ma ayi achọghi ka unu ghara imara ihe bayere ndi nāda n'ura ọnwu, umu-nna-ayi; ka o we ghara iwuta unu, ọbuná dika ọ nēwuta ndi fọduru, ndi nēnweghi olile-anya. 14 N'ihi na asi na ayi kwere na Jisus nwuru si kwa n'ọnwu bilie, otú a ndi emere ka ha da n'ura ọnwu site n'aka Jisus, ọ bu ndia ka Chineke gēkuru ka ha so Ya bia. 15 N'ihi na nka ka ayi nāgwa unu n'okwu Onye-nwe-ayi, na ayi onwe-ayi, bú ndi nọ na ndu, ndi anārapu rue ọbibia nke Onye-nwe-ayi, na ayi agaghi-eburu ndi dara n'ura onwu uzọ ma-ọli. 16 N'ihi na Onye-nwe-ayi onwe-ya gēwere oké ikpọ-òkù, were olu isi-mọ-ozi, were kwa opì nke Chineke, si n'elu-igwe ridata: ndi nwuru nime Kraist gēbu kwa uzọ si n'ọnwu bilie: 17 mb͕e ahu ayi onwe-ayi, bú ndi nọ na ndu, ndi anārapu, ayi na ha ka agēwelikọ n'igwe-oji, izute Onye-nwe-ayi nime mbara-elu-igwe: otú a ka ayi na Onye-nwe-ayi gānọ kwa mb͕e nile. 18 Ya mere werenu okwu ndia nākasirita ibe-unu obi.

1 Thessalonians 4

1 Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk, --that ye abound more and more.2 For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;4 that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,5 not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;6 that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.7 For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.8 Therefore he that rejecteth, rejecteth not man, but God, who giveth his Holy Spirit unto you.9 But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;10 for indeed ye do it toward all the brethren that are in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brethren, that ye abound more and more;11 and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, even as we charged you;12 that ye may walk becomingly toward them that are without, and may have need of nothing.13 But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him.15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep.16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;17 then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
