ชีวิต_ที่_พระเจ้า_พอใจ

1 พี่_น้อง_ทั้งหลาย พวก_เรา_ยัง_มี_เรื่อง_อื่น_ที่_จะ_บอก_กับ_คุณ_อีก ตาม_ที่_พวก_เรา_ได้_สอน_พวก_คุณ_แล้ว ว่า_ให้_ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_ไร_พระเจ้า_ถึง_จะ_ชอบ_ใจ_พวก_เรา คุณ_ก็_กำลัง_ทำ_อย่าง_นี้_อยู่_แล้ว_ใน_เวลา_นี้ พวก_เรา_ขอ_ร้อง_และ_ขอ_เร้าใจ_คุณ_ใน_นาม_ของ_พระ_เยซูเจ้า ให้_ทำ_แบบ_นี้_มาก_ยิ่ง_ขึ้น

2 พวก_คุณ_ก็_รู้_อยู่_แล้ว_ว่า พวก_เรา_ได้_สั่ง_อะไร_ไว้_กับ_พวก_คุณ_บ้าง_ด้วย_สิทธิ_อำนาจ_ของ_พระ_เยซูเจ้า

3 นี่_เป็น_สิ่ง_ที่_พระเจ้า_ต้อง_การ คือ_ให้_พวก_คุณ_บริสุทธิ์ และ_อยู่_ห่าง_จาก_ความ_ผิด_บาป_ทาง_เพศ

4 ให้_แต่_ละ_คน_หา_ภรรยา_ของ_ตัวเอง_มา_ใน_ทาง_ที่_บริสุทธิ์_และ_มี_เกียรติt

5 ไม่_ลุ่มหลง_มัวเมา_ใน_ราคะ_ตัณหา เหมือน_กับ_คน_นอก_ศาสนา_ที่_ไม่_รู้จัก_พระเจ้า_ทำ_กัน

6 อย่า_เอา_เปรียบ_หรือ_ทำ_บาป_ต่อ_พี่_น้อง_ด้วย_การ_เป็น_ชู้_กับ_ภรรยา_เขา เพราะ_พวก_เรา_ได้_บอก_และ_เตือน_พวก_คุณ_ไป_แล้ว_ว่า_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_จะ_ลงโทษ_คน_ที่_ทำ_เรื่อง_พวก_นี้

7 พระเจ้า_ไม่_ได้_เรียก_ให้_พวก_เรา_มา_เป็น_คน_สกปรก_ลามก แต่_เรียก_ให้_พวก_เรา_มา_เป็น_คน_บริสุทธิ์_สำหรับ_พระองค์

8 ดัง_นั้น คน_ที่_ปฏิเสธ_คำ_สอน_นี้_ก็_ไม่_ได้_ปฏิเสธ_มนุษย์ แต่_ได้_ปฏิเสธ_พระเจ้า_ผู้ที่_มอบ_พระ_วิญญาณ_บริสุทธิ์ ของ_พระองค์_ให้_กับ_พวก_คุณ

9 ส่วน_เรื่อง_ที่_จะ_รัก_พี่_น้อง_นั้น พวก_เรา_ไม่_จำ_เป็น_ต้อง_เขียน_ถึง_เลย เพราะ_เป็น_พระเจ้า_เอง_ที่_ได้_สอน_ให้_พวก_คุณ_รัก_ซึ่ง_กัน_และ_กัน_อยู่_แล้ว

10 แน่_นอน พวก_คุณ_รัก_พี่_น้อง_ทุก_คน_ทั่ว_ทั้ง_มาซิโดเนีย แต่_พี่_น้อง_ทั้งหลาย พวก_เรา_ขอ_หนุน_ใจ_ให้_พวก_คุณ_รัก_กัน_มาก_ขึ้น_เรื่อยๆ

11 ให้_พวก_คุณ_ตั้ง_เป้า_ไว้_เลย_ว่า จะ_พยายาม_อย่าง_ดี_ที่สุด_ที่_จะ_ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_สงบ_สุข ยุ่ง_แต่_เรื่อง_ของ_ตัวเอง ลงมือ_ทำ_งาน_ด้วย_ตัวเอง เหมือน_กับ_ที่_พวก_เรา_ได้_บอก_ไว้_แล้ว

12 ถ้า_คุณ_ทำ_อย่าง_นี้ คน_ภาย_นอก_ก็_จะ_เคารพ_นับถือ_ชีวิต_ของ_คุณ และ_พวก_คุณ_จะ_ได้_ไม่_ต้อง_ไป_พึ่งพา_ใคร_เลย

องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_กำลัง_จะ_มา

13 พวก_เรา_อยาก_ให้_พี่_น้อง_เข้า_ใจ_เรื่อง_เกี่ยว_กับ_คน_ที่_ล่วง_หลับ_ไป_แล้ว คุณ_จะ_ได้_ไม่_เศร้า_โศก_เสียใจ_เหมือน_กับ_คน_อื่นๆ_ที่_ไม่_มี_ความ_หวัง

14 ถ้า_พวก_เรา_เชื่อ_ว่า_พระ_เยซู_ตาย_ไป_แล้ว_และ_ได้_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา_อีก พวก_เรา_ก็_ต้อง_เชื่อ_ว่า พระเจ้า_จะ_นำ_ผู้เชื่อ_เหล่า_นั้น_ที่_ได้_ตาย_ไป_แล้ว_กลับ_มา_พร้อม_กับ_พระ_เยซู โดย_ทาง_พระ_เยซู

15 เรื่อง_ที่_พวก_เรา_จะ_บอก_คุณ_ต่อ_ไป_นี้ องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_เป็น_ผู้_พูด_เอง คือ_ว่า_ใน_วัน_นั้น_ตอน_ที่_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_มา พวก_เรา_ที่_ยัง_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่_จะ_ไม่_ได้_เปรียบ_คน_พวก_นั้น_ที่_ตาย_ไป_แล้ว_หรอก

16 เพราะ_เมื่อ_คน_ได้_ยิน_คำ_สั่ง_อัน_ดัง_กึก_ก้อง_ของ_หัวหน้า_ทูตสวรรค์ และ_เสียง_เป่า_แตร_ของ_พระเจ้า_ดัง_ขึ้น องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิตเอง_ก็_จะ_ลง_มา_จาก_สวรรค์ และ_บรรดา_คน_ที่_ได้_ตาย_ไป_แล้ว_ใน_พระคริสต์ จะ_ฟื้น_คืน_ชีวิต_ขึ้น_มา_ก่อน

17 หลัง_จาก_นั้น พวก_เรา_ที่_ยัง_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่_ใน_โลก_นี้ ก็_จะ_ถูก_นำ_ตัว_ขึ้น_ไป_ใน_เมฆ_พร้อม_ๆกับ_คน_เหล่า_นั้น เพื่อ_ไป_พบ_กับ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_บน_ท้องฟ้า และ_พวก_เรา_ก็_จะ_ได้_อยู่_กับ_พระองค์_ตลอด_ไป

18 ขอ_ให้_พูด_เรื่อง_นี้_เพื่อ_ให้_กำลัง_ใจ_ซึ่ง_กัน_และ_กัน

1 Thessalonians 4

Sanctification and Love

1 Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do twalk), that you excel still more.2 For you know what commandments we gave you tby the authority of the Lord Jesus.3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality;4 that each of you know how to possess his own tvessel in sanctification and honor,5 not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;6  and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you. 7 For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification.8 So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

9 Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;10 for indeed you do practice it toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, to excel still more,11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you,12 so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need.

Those Who Died in Christ

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
