I. NDI TESALỌNAIKA 5

1 Ma ọ dighi unu nkpà, umu-nna-ayi, ka edegara unu akwukwọ bayere oge ahu nile na ubọchi ahu nile. 2 N'ihi na unu onwe-unu matara nke-ọma na dika onye-ori nābia n'abali, otú a ka ubọchi nke Onye-nwe-ayi nābia. 3 Mb͕e ha nāsi, Udo na ntukwasi-obi di, mb͕e ahu na mberede ka nbili nābiakwasi ha, dika ime nēme nwanyi nke di ime; ha agaghi-ab͕anari kwa ya ma-ọli. 4 Ma unu onwe-unu, umu-nna-ayi, anọghi n'ọchichiri, ka ubọchi ahu we jide unu na mberede dika onye-ori: 5 n'ihi na unu onwe-unu nile bu umu nke ìhè, na umu nke ehihie: ayi abughi ndi nke abali, ma-ọbu nke ọchichiri; 6 ya mere otú a, ka ayi ghara iraru ura, dika ndi fọduru, kama ka ayi nēche nche nwe kwa anya-udo. 7 N'ihi na ndi nāraru ura nāraru ura n'abali; ndi nāṅubiga kwa manya ókè nāṅubiga n'abali. 8 Ma ayi onwe-ayi, ebe ayi bu ndi nke ehihie, ka ayi nwe anya-udo, yikwasikwa ihe-agha ib͕ochi obi, bú okwukwe na ihunanya; ya na okpu-agha, bú ile-anya nzọputa. 9 N'ihi na Chineke edebeghi ayi inata iwe, kama inweta nzọputa site n'aka Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist, 10 Onye nwuru n'ihi ayi, ka ọ gābu, ma ayi nēche nche ma ayi nāraru ura, ka ayi we so Ya dikọ ndu.

11 N'ihi nka nākasiritanu ibe-unu obi, wulirita kwa ibe-unu elu dika ulo, dika unu nēme kwa.
12 Ma ayi nēkpere unu, umu-nna-ayi, ka unu mata ndi nādọb͕u onwe-ha n'ọlu n'etiti unu, ndi bu kwa ndi-isi-unu nime Onye-nwe-ayi, ndi nādu kwa unu ọdú; 13 ka unu were kwa ihunanya sọpuru ha gabiga ókè nke-uku ri nne n'ihi ọlu-ha. Birinu n'udo n'etiti onwe-unu. 14 Ma ayi nāriọ unu, umu-nna-ayi, nādunu ndi nādighi-agazi ije ọdú, nakasinu ndi dara #mbà n'obi, nēyerenu ndi nādighi ike aka, nwenu ogologo-ntachi-obi n'ebe madu nile nọ. 15 Lenu ka onye ọ bula ghara inyeghachi onye ọ bula ihe ọjọ n'ọnọdu ihe ọjọ; kama nāb͕asonu ezi ihe mb͕e nile, n'ebe ibe-unu nọ, na n'ebe madu nile nọ. 16 Nāṅurinu ọṅu mb͕e nile; 17 nēkpenu ekpere nēwepughi aka; 18 nēkelenu ekele n'ihe nile ọ bula: n'ihi na nka bu ihe Chineke nāchọ nime Kraist Jisus n'ebe unu nọ. 19 Unu emenyula Mọ Nsọ; 20 unu akpọla ibu-amuma ihe-efu; 21 nānwanu ihe nile; jidesienu ihe ọma ike;

22 unu etiyela aka n'aha ajọ ihe ọ bula.
23 Chineke nke udo, Ya Onwe-ya dozu kwa unu nsọ n'uzọ dum; ka edebezu kwa mọ-unu na nkpuru-obi-unu na aru-unu dum, nādighi ita uta n'ọbibia nke Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist.

24 O kwesiri ntukwasi-obi, bú Onye ahu nākpọ unu, Onye gēme kwa ya.

25 Umu-nna-ayi, nēkpenu ekpere bayere ayi.
26 Werenu isutu-ọnu di nsọ kele umu-nna-ayi nile.

27 Ewerem Onye-nwe-ayi b͕a unu iyi ka aguara umu-nna-ayi nile akwukwọ-ozi a.
28 Ka amara nke Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist dinyere unu.

1 Thessalonians 5

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that aught be written unto you.2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.3 When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief:5 for ye are all sons of light, and sons of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness;6 so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.7 For they that sleep sleep in the night: and they that are drunken are drunken in the night.8 But let us, since we are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.9 For God appointed us not into wrath, but unto the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.11 Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.12 But we beseech you, brethren, to know them that labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;13 and to esteem them exceeding highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.14 And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.15 See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.16 Rejoice always;17 pray without ceasing;18 in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.19 Quench not the Spirit;20 despise not prophesyings;21 prove all things; hold fast that which is good;22 abstain from every form of evil.23 And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it.25 Brethren, pray for us.26 Salute all the brethren with a holy kiss.27 I adjure you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the brethren.28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
