۱-تِیمُتھِیُس 4
جُھوٹے اُستاد
1 لیکن رُوح صاف فرماتا ہے کہ آیندہ زمانوں میں بعض لوگ گُمراہ کرنے والی رُوحوں اور شَیاطِین کی تعلِیم کی طرف مُتوجِّہ ہو کر اِیمان سے بَرگشتہ ہو جائیں گے۔ 2 یہ اُن جُھوٹے آدمِیوں کی رِیاکاری کے باعِث ہو گا جِن کا دِل گویا گرم لوہے سے داغا گیا ہے۔ 3 یہ لوگ بیاہ کرنے سے منع کریں گے اور اُن کھانوں سے پرہیز کرنے کا حُکم دیں گے جِنہیں خُدا نے اِس لِئے پَیدا کِیا ہے کہ اِیمان دار اور حق کے پہچاننے والے اُنہیں شُکرگُذاری کے ساتھ کھائیں۔ 4 کیونکہ خُدا کی پَیدا کی ہُوئی ہر چِیز اچھّی ہے اور کوئی چِیز اِنکار کے لائِق نہیں بشرطیکہ شُکرگُذاری کے ساتھ کھائی جائے۔
5 اِس لِئے کہ خُدا کے کلام اور دُعا سے پاک ہو جاتی ہے۔مسِیح یِسُوع کا اچھّاخادِم
6 اگر تُو بھائِیوں کو یہ باتیں یاد دِلائے گاتو مسِیح یِسُوع کا اچھّا خادِم ٹھہرے گااور اِیمان اور اُس اچھّی تعلِیم کی باتوں سے جِس کی تُو پَیروی کرتا آیا ہے پروَرِش پاتا رہے گا۔ 7 لیکن بیہُودہ اور بُوڑِھیوں کی سی کہانِیوں سے کنارہ کر اور دِین داری کے لِئے رِیاضت کر۔ 8 کیونکہ جِسمانی رِیاضت کا فائِدہ کم ہے لیکن دِین داری سب باتوں کے لِئے فائِدہ مند ہے اِس لِئے کہ اب کی اور آیندہ کی زِندگی کا وعدہ بھی اِسی کے لِئے ہے۔ 9 یہ بات سچ ہے اور ہر طرح سے قبُول کرنے کے لائِق۔
10 کیونکہ ہم مِحنت اور جان فشانی اِسی لِئے کرتے ہیں کہ ہماری اُمّید اُس زِندہ خُدا پر لگی ہُوئی ہے جو سب آدمِیوں کا خاص کر اِیمان داروں کا مُنجّی ہے۔
11 اِن باتوں کا حُکم کر اور تعلِیم دے۔ 12 کوئی تیری جوانی کی حقارت نہ کرنے پائے بلکہ تُو اِیمان داروں کے لِئے کلام کرنے اور چال چلن اور مُحبّت اور اِیمان اور پاکِیزگی میں نمُونہ بن۔ 13 جب تک مَیں نہ آؤُں پڑھنے اور نصِیحت کرنے اور تعلِیم دینے کی طرف مُتوجِّہ رہ۔ 14 اُس نِعمت سے غافِل نہ رہ جو تُجھے حاصِل ہے اور نبُوّت کے ذرِیعہ سے بزُرگوں کے ہاتھ رکھتے وقت تُجھے مِلی تھی۔ 15 اِن باتوں کی فِکر رکھ ۔ اِن ہی میں مشغُول رہ تاکہ تیری ترقّی سب پر ظاہِر ہو۔ 16 اپنی اور اپنی تعلِیم کی خبرداری کر ۔ اِن باتوں پر قائِم رہ کیونکہ اَیسا کرنے سے تُو اپنی اور اپنے سُننے والوں کی بھی نجات کا باعِث ہو گا۔ اِیمانداروں کی ذمہ داریاں

People Will Turn from //Their Faith
1 God's Spirit clearly says that in the last days many people will turn from their faith. They will be fooled by evil spirits and by teachings that come from demons. 2 They will also be fooled by the false claims of liars whose consciences have lost all feeling. These liars 3 will forbid people to marry or to eat certain foods. But God created these foods to be eaten with thankful hearts by his followers who know the truth. 4 Everything God created is good. And if you give thanks, you may eat anything.
5 What God has said and your prayer will make it fit to eat.Paul's Advice to Timothy
6 If you teach these things to other followers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus. You will show you have grown up on the teachings about our faith and on the good instructions you have obeyed. 7 Don't have anything to do with worthless, senseless stories. Work hard to be truly religious.
8-9 As the saying goes,
“Exercise is good
for your body,
but religion helps you
in every way.
It promises life
now and forever.”
These words are worthwhile and should not be forgotten.
10 We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of everyone, but especially of those who have faith. This is why we work and struggle so hard.t
11 Teach these things and tell everyone to do what you say.
12 Don't let anyone make fun of you, just because you are young. Set an example for other followers by what you say and do, as well as by your love, faith, and purity.
13 Until I arrive, be sure to keep on reading the Scriptures in worship, and don't stop preaching and teaching. 14 Use the gift you were given when the prophets spoke and the group of church leaderst blessed you by placing their hands on you. 15 Remember these things and think about them, so everyone can see how well you are doing. 16 Be careful about the way you live and about what you teach. Keep on doing this, and you will save not only yourself, but the people who hear you.
