1 Pọl, onye-ozi nke Kraist Jisus site n'ọchichọ Chineke, na Timọti nwa-nna-ayi, nēdegara nzukọ Chineke nke di na Kọrint akwukwọ, ha na ndi nsọ nile ndi nọ n'Akaia dum:

2 Amara diri unu na udo nke si n'aka Chineke, bú Nna-ayi, na Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist puta.
3 Onye agọziri agọzi ka Ọ bu, bú Chineke na Nna nke Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist, bú Nna nke obi-ebere nile na Chineke nke nkasi-obi nile; 4 Onye nākasi ayi obi na nkpab͕u-ayi nile, ka ayi we pu isite na nkasi-obi nke Chineke ji kasi ayi onwe-ayi obi kasie ndi ahu obi ndi nọ na nkpab͕u ọ bula. 5 N'ihi na dika ahuhu nile Kraist huru nābabiga ókè n'ebe ayi nọ, otú a ka nkasi-obi-ayi nābabiga kwa ókè site n'aka Kraist. 6 Ma ọ buru na anākpab͕u ayi, ọ bu n'ihi nkasi-obi-unu na nzọputa-unu; ọ buru kwa na anākasi ayi obi, ọ bu n'ihi nkasi-obi-unu, nke nālusi ọlu ike n'itachi obi n'otù ahuhu ahu nke ayi onwe-ayi nāhu kwa: 7 olile-anya-ayi bayere unu nēguzosi kwa ike; ebe ayi matara na, dika unu bu ndi nēnwekọ ahuhu nile, otú a ka unu nēnwekọ kwa nkasi-obi ahu. 8 N'ihi na, umu-nnam, ayi achọghi ka unu ghara imara ihe bayere nkpab͕u-ayi nke akpab͕uru ayi n'Esia, na esob͕uru ayi nke-uku ri nne, kari ike-ayi, ya mere ayi nwebigara obi abua ókè ma ayi gādi kwa ndu: 9 e, ayi onwe-ayi enwewo ọziza azara nime onwe-ayi na ọ bu ọnwu, ka ayi we ghara itukwasi obi n'onwe-ayi, kama ọ bu na Chineke Onye nēme ka ndi nwuru anwu si n'ọnwu bilie: 10 Onye dọputara ayi n'oké ọnwu di otú a, Ọ gādọputa kwa ayi: Onye ayi leworo anya Ya na Ọ ganādọputa kwa ayi ọzọ;

11 ebe unu nēyekọ kwa aka n'ihi ayi n'aririọ-unu; ka ọtutu madu we kele ekele n'ihi ayi bayere onyinye-amara enyeworo ayi site n'aka ọtutu madu.
12 N'ihi na inya-isi-ayi bu nka, àmà nke akọ-na-uche-ayi, na ọ bu n'idi-nsọ na idi-ọcha nke Chineke, ọ bughi n'amam-ihe nke anu-aru, kama ọ bu n'amara Chineke, ka ayi biri obi n'uwa, ma ọ bu n'ebe unu nọ ka ayi bikariri obi-ayi nke-uku. 13 N'ihi na ayi edegaraghi unu ihe ọzọ n'akwukwọ, ma-ọbughi ihe unu nāghọta ma-ọbu nke unu nāmazu kwa, anamele kwa anya na unu gāmazu ha rue ọgwugwu ihe nile:

14 dika unu mazu-kwa-ra ayi n'otù akuku, na ayi bu ihe-inya-isi-unu, ọbuná dika unu onwe-unu bu kwa ihe-inya-isi nke ayi, n'ubọchi Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus.
15 Nime ntukwasi-obi a ka m'zube-kwa-ra na mbu ibiakute unu, ka unu we nwe amara nke-abua; 16 ka m'we site kwa n'iye-aka-unu je rue Masedọnia, si kwa na Masedọnia biakute unu ọzọ, ka unu we dupukwam n'ijem iga Judia. 17 Ya mere mb͕e m'zubere nka, ọ̀ gābu na ejim uche nāgha agha zube? ma-ọbu ihe m'nēzuputa, ànamezuputa ha dika anu-aru nāgwam, ka e e na é-è é-è we di n'ọnum n'otù oge? 18 Ma dika Chineke kwesiri ntukwasi-obi, okwu-ayi nke ayi gwara unu abughi e na é-è. 19 N'ihi na Ọkpara Chineke, Jisus Kraist, Onye ekwusara n'etiti unu site n'ọnu-ayi, bú site n'ọnu nkem na nke Silvanọs na nke Timọti, emeghi Ya ka Ọ buru e na é-è, kama emewo ka e di nime Ya. 20 N'ihi na ka ha ra, bú nkwa nke Chineke, ọ bu nime Ya ka e di: n'ihi nka ka Amen site-kwa-ra n'aka-Ya, ka ewe site n'aka-ayi nye Chineke otuto. 21 Ma Onye ahu Nke nēme ka ayi na unu guzosie ike nime Kraist, Onye te-kwa-ra-ayi manu n'isi, bu Chineke;

22 Onye ka-kwa-ra ayi akàrà, nye kwa ayi Mọ Nsọ n'obi-ayi, bú ihe ayi ji mara na ayi gēnwezu nkwa ahu nile.
23 Ma mu onwem nākpọku Chineke ka Ọ buru onye-àmà megide nkpuru-obim, na ọ bu n'imere unu ebere ka m'nējighi bia Kọrint rue ub͕u a. 24 Ọ bughi na ayi bu ndi-nwe okwukwe-unu, kama ayi bu ndi soro unu nālu ọṅù-unu: n'ihi na unu ji okwukwe-unu guzo.

2 Corinthians 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints that are in the whole of Achaia:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;4 who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound unto us, even so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ.6 But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which worketh in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer:7 and our hope for you is stedfast; knowing that, as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also are ye of the comfort.8 For we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning our affliction which befell us in Asia, that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, insomuch that we despaired even of life:9 yea, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead:10 who delivered us out of so great a death, and will deliver: on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;11 ye also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed upon us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf.12 For our glorifying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.13 For we write no other things unto you, than what ye read or even acknowledge, and I hope ye will acknowledge unto the end:14 as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that we are your glorying, even as ye also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.15 And in this confidence I was minded to come first unto you, that ye might have a second benefit;16 and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come unto you, and of you to be set forward on my journey unto Judaea.17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I show fickleness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the yea yea and the nay nay?18 But as God is faithful, our word toward you is not yea and nay.19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea.20 For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.21 Now he that establisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;22 who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.23 But I call God for a witness upon my soul, that to spare you I forbare to come unto Corinth.24 Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for in faith ye stand fast.
