8 พี่_น้อง_ครับ เรา_อยาก_ให้_พวก_คุณ_รู้_ถึง_ความ_ทุกข์_ทรมาน_อย่าง_แสน_สาหัส_ที่_เรา_เจอ_ใน_แคว้น_เอเชีย ซึ่ง_หนัก_เกิน_กว่า_ที่_เรา_จะ_ทน_ได้ เรา_หมด_หวัง_จน_คิด_ว่า_คง_ไม่_รอด_แล้ว

9 เรา_คิด_อยู่_ใน_ใจ_เหมือน_ว่า_เรา_ถูก_ตัดสิน_ให้_ตาย_เสีย_แล้ว แต่_ที่_มัน_เกิด_ขึ้น_อย่าง_นี้ ก็_เพื่อ_เรา_จะ_ได้_ไม่_พึ่ง_ตน_เอง แต่_พึ่ง_พระเจ้า_ผู้_ทำ_ให้_คน_ตาย_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา

10 พระเจ้า_ช่วย_ให้_เรา_พ้น_จาก_อันตราย_อัน_ใหญ่_หลวง_และ_พระองค์_ก็_จะ_ช่วย_ชีวิต_เรา_ต่อ_ไป เรา_มี_ความ_หวัง_ใน_พระองค์_ว่า พระองค์_จะ_ช่วย_ชีวิต_เรา_ต่อ_ไป_ใน_อนาคต

11 พวก_คุณ_ก็_ช่วย_เรา_ได้_ด้วย_การ_อธิษฐาน แล้ว_คน_จำนวน_มาก_ก็_จะ_ขอบคุณ_พระเจ้า_ที่_พระองค์_ได้_ช่วย_ชีวิต_เรา ตาม_ที่_พวก_คุณ_อธิษฐาน_นั้น

13 แน่_นอน ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_เขียน_มา_นี้ เรา_ไม่_ได้_ปิด_บัง_อะไร_เลย เป็น_สิ่ง_ที่_คุณ_อ่าน_เข้า_ใจ_ได้_ทั้ง_นั้น และ_ผม_หวัง_ว่า_คุณ_จะ_เข้า_ใจ_อย่าง_ทะลุ_ปรุโปร่ง

14 เหมือน_กับ_ที่_คุณ_เข้า_ใจ_เรา_อยู่_บ้าง_แล้ว แล้ว_ใน_วัน_ที่_พระ_เยซู_กลับ_มา_นั้น_พวก_คุณ_จะ_ได้_ภูมิใจ_ใน_ตัว_เรา เหมือน_กับ_ที่_เรา_ภูมิใจ_ใน_ตัว_คุณ_ด้วย

15 ผม_มั่นใจ_ว่า_คุณ_คิด_อย่าง_นี้ ผม_ก็_เลย_ตัดสิน_ใจ_มา_เยี่ยม_คุณ_ก่อน เพื่อ_คุณ_จะ_ได้_ประโยชน์_สอง_ต่อ

17 คุณ_คิด_ว่า_ตอน_ที่_ผม_วางแผน_นี้ ผม_รวนเร_เอา_แน่_เอา_นอน_ไม่_ได้_หรือ ผม_วางแผน_อย่าง_ที่_คน_ใน_โลก_นี้_เขา_ทำ_กัน_หรือ ที่_เดี๋ยว_ก็_บอก_ว่า “ได้” เดี๋ยว_ก็_บอก_ว่า “ไม่_ได้”

19 เพราะ_พระบุตร_ของ_พระเจ้า_คือ_พระ_เยซูคริสต์_ที่_สิลวานัส ทิโมธี และ_ผม_ได้_ประกาศ_ไป_ท่าม_กลาง_พวก_คุณ_นั้น_ไม่_ได้_เป็น_ทั้ง “ได้” และ “ไม่_ได้” ใน_เวลา_เดียว_กัน แต่_ตรง_กัน_ข้าม ใน_พระองค์_นั้น_มี_แต่_คำ_ว่า “ได้” เท่า_นั้น

20 เพราะ_ไม่ว่า_พระเจ้า_จะ_สัญญา_ไว้_มาก_มาย_ขนาด_ไหน_ก็_ตาม สัญญา_ก็_ได้_อย่าง_นั้น_ทุก_ข้อ_ใน_พระคริสต์ เพราะ_อย่าง_นี้_นี่_เอง_เรา_ถึง_ได้_พูด_คำ_ว่า “อาเมน” ผ่าน_ทาง_พระ_เยซูคริสต์ เพื่อ_พระเจ้า_จะ_ได้_รับ_เกียรติ_ยศ

21 พระเจ้า_นี่_แหละ_ทำ_ให้_ทั้ง_เรา_และ_พวก_คุณ_ตั้ง_มั่นคง_อยู่_ใน_พระคริสต์_และ_พระองค์_ก็_ได้_เจิม_เราt

22 พระองค์_ได้_ประทับ_ตรา_ว่า_พระองค์_เป็น_เจ้า_ของ_เรา_ด้วย และ_พระองค์_ก็_ให้_พระ_วิญญาณ_บริสุทธิ์ อยู่_ใน_ใจ_เรา_ไว้_เป็น_มัดจำ_งวด_แรก_ของ_ทุก_สิ่ง_ที่_พระองค์_สัญญา_ว่า_จะ_ให้_กับ_เรา

23 พระเจ้า_เป็น_พยาน_ได้ ที่_ผม_ไม่_แวะ_มา_ที่_เมือง_โครินธ์_ตอน_ขาก_ลับ_นั้น ก็_เพราะ_ไม่_อยาก_จะ_มา_ลงโทษ_พวก_คุณ

2 Corinthians 1

Introduction

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
To the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia:

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer;7 and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life;9 indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead;10 who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us,11 you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many.

Paul's Integrity

12 For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.13 For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end;14 just as you also partially did understand us, that we are your reason to be proud as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.

15 In this confidence I intended at first to come to you, so that you might twice receive a blessing;16 that is, to pass your way into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and by you to be helped on my journey to Judea.17 Therefore, I was not vacillating when I intended to do this, was I? Or what I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, so that with me there will be yes, yes and no, no at the same time? 18 But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yes and no.19 For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us-by me and Silvanus and Timothy-was not yes and no, but is yes in Him.20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God,22 who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

23 But I call God as witness to my soul, that to spare you I did not come again to Corinth.24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but are workers with you for your joy; for in your faith you are standing firm.
