2 เมื่อ_ผม_มา ผม_ขอ_ร้อง_ว่า_อย่า_บังคับ_ให้_ผม_ต้อง_ใช้_ความ_กล้า_หาญ_แบบ_ที่_ผม_กะ_จะ_ใช้_กับ_คน_พวก_นั้น_ที่_หา_ว่า_ผม_ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_คน_ใน_โลก_นี้

3 ถึง_แม้_เรา_จะ_ใช้_ชีวิต_อยู่_ใน_โลก_นี้_ก็_จริง แต่_เรา_ก็_ไม่_ได้_ต่อสู้_เหมือน_กับ_คน_ของ_โลก_นี้

4 เพราะ_อาวุธ_ที่_เรา_ใช้_นั้น_ไม่_เหมือน_กับ_อาวุธ_ของ_โลก_นี้ อาวุธ_ของ_เรา_เป็น_ฤทธิ์_เดช_ของ_พระเจ้า_ที่_จะ_ทำลาย_ที่_มั่น_ต่างๆ เรา_ก็_ใช้_อาวุธ_นี้_ทำลาย_ข้อ_โต้_แย้ง_ต่างๆ_ที่_ต่อ_ต้าน_พระเจ้า

5 ทำลาย_กำแพง_สูง_ทั้ง_หมด_ที่_ขัด_ขวาง_ไม่_ให้_คน_รู้_เกี่ยว_กับ_เรื่อง_พระเจ้า เรา_ยัง_จับ_ความ_คิด_ของ_คน_มา_เป็น_เชลย_เพื่อ_เขา_จะ_ได้_เชื่อ_ฟัง_พระคริสต์

6 แล้ว_ก็_พร้อม_ที่_จะ_ลงโทษ_การ_กระทำ_ที่_ไม่_เชื่อ_ฟัง_ทุก_อย่าง_หลัง_จาก_ที่_พวก_คุณ_เชื่อ_ฟัง_จน_ครบ_ถ้วน_แล้ว

7 ลอง_ดู_ความ_จริง_ที่_อยู่_ต่อ_หน้า_คุณ_สิ ถ้า_ใคร_แน่ใจ_ว่า_ตัวเอง_เป็น_ของ_พระคริสต์ ก็_ให้_คิด_ทบ_ทวน_และ_รู้_เสีย_ด้วย_ว่า เรา_ก็_เป็น_ของ_พระคริสต์_พอๆ_กับ_เขา

8 ถ้า_ดู_เหมือน_ว่า_ผม_โอ้_อวด_มาก_ไป_เกี่ยว_กับ_สิทธิ_อำนาจ_ที่_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ให้_กับ_เรา ผม_ก็_ไม่_อาย_หรอก เพราะ_มัน_มี_ไว้_เพื่อ_เสริม_สร้าง_พวก_คุณ ไม่_ใช่_ทำลาย

9 ผม_ไม่_อยาก_ให้_คุณ_คิด_ว่า_ผม_กำลัง_ใช้_จด_หมาย_พวก_นี้_ข่มขู่_ให้_คุณ_ตกใจ

10 บางคน_พูด_ว่า “จด_หมาย_ของ_เปาโล_นั้น_น่า_ประทับ_ใจ_มาก_และ_มี_พลัง_มาก แต่_พอตัว_เขา_มา_อยู่_ต่อหน้า_กลับ_อ่อนแอ_และ_พูด_ไม่_เอา_ไหน”

11 คน_ที่_พูด_อย่าง_นี้_ก็_ให้_จำ_เอา_ไว้_ว่า เมื่อ_ผม_มา_ถึง ใน_จด_หมาย_ผม_เป็น_ยัง_ไง ผม_ก็_จะ_เป็น_อย่าง_นั้น_ต่อหน้า_พวก_คุณ_ด้วย

12 เรา_ไม่_กล้า_ไป_เทียบ_ชั้น_หรือ_เอา_ตัว_ไป_เปรียบ_กับ_คน_พวก_นั้น_ที่_โอ้_อวด_เกี่ยว_กับ_คุณ_สมบัติ_ของ_เขา_หรอก พวก_นี้_ได้_แต่_อวด_โง่ คือ_เอา_ตัวเอง_เป็น_มาตรฐาน_วัด_กัน_และ_เปรียบ_เทียบ_กัน

13 แต่_เรา_จะ_ไม่_โอ้_อวด_จน_เกิน_ไป เรา_จะ_โอ้_อวด_เฉพาะ_ภาย_ใน_ขอบ_เขต_งาน_ที่_พระเจ้า_มอบ_หมาย_ให้_เรา_ทำ_เท่า_นั้น ซึ่ง_ขอบ_เขต_นี้_ก็_รวม_ถึง_งาน_ที่_เรา_ทำ_กับ_พวก_คุณ_ด้วย

14 เรา_ไม่_ได้_โอ้_อวด_จน_เกิน_ไป แต่_ถ้า_เรา_ไม่_ได้_มา_หา_พวก_คุณ_สิ นั่น_แหละ_แสดง_ว่า_เรา_โอ้_อวด_เกิน_ไป แต่_เรา_เป็น_พวก_แรก_ที่_นำ_ข่าว_ดี_เกี่ยว_กับ_พระคริสต์_มา_ให้_กับ_พวก_คุณ

15 เรา_จะ_โอ้_อวด_เฉพาะ_งาน_ที่_เรา_ทำ ไม่_ใช่_งาน_ที่_คน_อื่น_ทำ แต่_เรา_หวัง_ว่า_เมื่อ_พวก_คุณ_มี_ความ_เชื่อ_มาก_ขึ้น งาน_ของ_เรา_ก็_จะ_ขยาย_ใหญ่_โต_มาก_ขึ้น_ใน_หมู่_พวก_คุณ_ด้วย

16 แล้ว_เรา_ก็_จะ_ได้_ไป_ประกาศ_ข่าว_ดี_ใน_เมือง_อื่นๆ_บ้าง_ที่_ยัง_ไม่_เคย_มี_ใคร_ไป เพราะ_เรา_ไม่_อยาก_จะ_อวด_อ้าง_ใน_ผล_งาน_ที่_คน_อื่น_ทำ_ไว้_ใน_พื้นที่_ของ_เขา

17 เหมือน_กับ_ที่_พระ_คัมภีร์_พูด_ไว้_ว่า
“คน_ที่_อยาก_จะ_โอ้_อวด ก็_ให้_โอ้_อวด_แต่_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_เท่า_นั้น”t

18 ไม่_ใช่_ว่า_คน_ที่_ยกย่อง_ตัวเอง_จะ_ผ่าน_การ_สอบ_และ_เป็น_ที่_ยอมรับ แต่_เป็น_คน_ที่_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ยกย่อง_ต่าง_หาก

2 Corinthians 10

Paul Describes Himself

1 Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ-I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!2 I ask that when I am present I need not be bold with the confidence with which I propose to be courageous against some, who regard us as if we walked according to the flesh.3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.5  We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

7 You are looking at things as they are outwardly. If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ's, so also are we.8 For even if I boast somewhat further about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame,9 for I do not wish to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters.10 For they say, "His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible."11 Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when absent, such persons we are also in deed when present.

12 For we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.13 But we will not boast beyond our measure, but within the measure of the sphere which God apportioned to us as a measure, to reach even as far as you.14 For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we did not reach to you, for we were the first to come even as far as you in the gospel of Christ;15 not boasting beyond our measure, that is, in other men's labors, but with the hope that as your faith grows, we will be, within our sphere, enlarged even more by you,16 so as to preach the gospel even to the regions beyond you, and not to boast in what has been accomplished in the sphere of another.17 But HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD.18 For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.
