4 พระเจ้า_ไม่_ได้_ละเว้น_โทษ_แก่_ทูตสวรรค์_เมื่อ_พวก_เขา_ทำ_บาป แต่_ส่ง_ไป_ขัง_ไว้_ใน_หลุม_ที่_ลึก_มาก ล่าม_โซ่_ไว้_ใน_ความ_มืด_เพื่อ_รอ_วัน_พิพากษา

5 ใน_สมัย_โบราณ พระเจ้า_ก็_ไม่_ได้_ละเว้น_โทษ_ให้_กับ_โลก_นี้_ที่_เต็ม_ไป_ด้วย_คน_ที่_ต่อ_ต้าน_พระองค์ แต่_ส่ง_น้ำ_มา_ท่วม_โลก อย่าง_ไร_ก็_ตาม_พระองค์_ได้_คุ้ม_ครอง_โนอาห์_ซึ่ง_เป็น_คน_ที่_ไป_ประกาศ_ให้_คน_ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_ถูกต้อง_กับ_พระองค์ และ_พระเจ้า_ก็_ได้_คุ้ม_ครอง_อีก_เจ็ด_คน_ด้วย

6 พระเจ้า_ได้_ตัดสิน_โทษ_เผา_เมือง_โสโดม_และ_เมือง_โกโมราห์_ไป_ทั้ง_เมือง เพื่อ_ให้_คน_ที่_ต่อ_ต้าน_พระเจ้า_เห็น_เป็น_ตัวอย่าง_ว่า_จะ_เกิด_อะไร_ขึ้น_กับ_พวก_เขา

7 แต่_พระองค์_ได้_ช่วยกู้_โลท_คน_ที่_ทำ_ตามใจ_พระองค์ ความ_ลามก_ของ_คน_ชั่ว_ช้า_นั้น_ทำ_ให้_โลท_เจ็บ_ปวด_รวด_ร้าว_ใจ

8 (โลท_เป็น_คนดี แต่_เพราะ_อยู่_กับ_คน_ชั่ว ได้_เห็น_การ_กระทำ_ชั่วๆ_และ_ได้_ยิน_คำ_พูด_เลวๆ_ของ_พวก_เขา_ทุกๆ_วัน ทำ_ให้_จิต_ใจ_ที่_ดี_ของ_เขา_เจ็บ_ปวด_รวด_ร้าว)

9 ถ้า_เป็น_อย่าง_นี้ องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ย่อม_รู้_ว่า_จะ_ช่วยกู้_คน_ที่_อุทิศ_ตัว_ให้_กับ_พระองค์_ได้_อย่าง_ไร_เมื่อ_เขา_ตก_ทุกข์_ได้_ยาก แล้ว_จะ_เก็บ_คน_ชั่ว_ไว้_ลงโทษ_ใน_วัน_พิพากษา

10 โดย_เฉพาะ_คน_พวก_นั้น_ที่_หลง_ระเริง_ไป_กับ_ความ_สกปรก_โสมม_ของ_สันดาน และ_ดูถูก_สิทธิ_อำนาจ_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต คน_พวก_นี้_ยโส_โอหัง_และ_หัวรั้น กล้า_ดู_หมิ่น_แม้แต่_ทูตสวรรค์_ที่_เต็ม_ไป_ด้วย_สง่าราศี

11 ขนาด_ทูตสวรรค์_ที่_มี_ฤทธิ์_และ_อำนาจ_มาก_กว่า ยัง_ไม่_ฟ้อง_ดู_หมิ่น_พวก_นี้_ต่อหน้า_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต

12 พวก_ครู_ที่_สอน_ผิดๆ_นี้ พูด_ใส่ร้าย_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_ตัวเอง_ก็_ยัง_ไม่_เข้า_ใจ พวก_นี้_เป็น_เหมือน_กับ_สัตว์_ที่_ทำ_ทุก_อย่าง_ตาม_สัญชาตญาณ เพราะ_คิด_ไม่_เป็น เกิด_มา_เพื่อ_ถูก_จับ_และ_ถูก_ฆ่า_เท่า_นั้น แล้ว_ครู_พวก_นี้_ก็_จะ_ถูก_ทำลาย_ไป_เหมือน_กับ_สัตว์_ด้วย

13 เขา_จะ_ได้_รับ_ความ_ทุกข์_เป็น_การ_ตอบ_แทน_ให้_สม_กับ_ความ_ทุกข์_และ_ความ_ผิด_ที่_เขา_ทำ_ไว้_กับ_คน_อื่น ความ_สนุกสนาน_ของ_เขา_คือ_การ_จัด_งาน_มั่วสุม_เมา_กัน_กลาง_วัน_แสกๆ เขา_เป็น_จุด_สกปรก_และ_มี_ตำหนิ_ท่าม_กลาง_พวก_คุณ และ_ชอบ_สำมะเล_เทเมา_กัน_เมื่อ_กิน_เลี้ยง_กับ_พวก_คุณ

17 พวก_ครู_สอน_ผิด_นี้ เป็น_ตาน้ำ_ที่_แห้ง_ขอด และ_เป็น_เมฆ_ที่_ถูก_พายุ_พัด_พา_ไป ขุม_นรก_มืด_ถูก_เตรียม_ไว้_แล้ว_สำหรับ_คน_พวก_นี้

18 พวก_นี้_ดี_แต่_โม้_เรื่อง_ไร้_สาระ_ของ_ตน และ_ใช้_ราคะ_ตัณหา_ของ_ร่าง_กาย_มา_ยั่ว_คน_ที่_เพิ่ง_จะ_หลุดพ้น_มา_จาก_การ_ใช้_ชีวิต_ผิดๆ

19 ครู_พวก_นี้_ได้_สัญญา_ว่า_จะ_ให้_เสรีภาพ_กับ_คน_พวก_นั้น ทั้งๆที่_ตัวเอง_ยัง_ตก_เป็น_ทาส_ของ_นิสัย_ชั่วๆ_อยู่_เลย คน_ที่_พ่าย_แพ้_กับ_อะไร เขา_ก็_เป็น_ทาส_ของ_สิ่ง_นั้น

20 ดัง_นั้น คน_ไหน_ที่_หลุดพ้น_ออก_มา_จาก_ความ_สกปรก_โสมม_ของ_โลก_นี้_ได้_แล้ว เพราะ_ได้_รู้จัก_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต และ_พระ_เยซูคริสต์_เจ้า_พระผู้ช่วย_ให้_รอด_ของ_เรา แต่_กลับ_พ่าย_แพ้ และ_กลับ_ไป_พัวพัน_กับ_สิ่ง_เหล่า_นั้น_อีก สภาพ_ของ_เขา_ตอน_หลัง_นี้_จะ_เลว_ร้าย_ยิ่งกว่า_ตอน_แรก_เสีย_อีก

21 เพราะ_ถ้า_คน_นี้_ไม่_ได้_รู้จัก_ทาง_ที่_ถูกต้อง_นี้_ตั้ง_แต่_แรก ก็_ยัง_ดี_กว่า_ได้_รู้จัก แล้ว_หัน_หน้า_หนี_ไป_จาก_คำ_สั่งสอน_อัน_ศักดิ์สิทธิ์_ที่_ให้_เขา_ไว้

22 สิ่ง_ที่_เกิด_ขึ้น_กับ_คน_พวก_นี้_ก็_เป็น_ไป_ตาม_คำ_สุภาษิต_ที่_ว่า “หมา_ก็_หัน_กลับ_ไป_กิน_อ้วก_ของ_มัน”t หรือ_ที่_ว่า “หมู_ที่_ล้าง_สะอาด_แล้ว ก็_กลับ_ไป_เกลือก_กลิ้ง_อยู่_ใน_โคลน_ตม_อีก”

The Rise of False Prophets

1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment;5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter;7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds),9  then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,

10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority.
Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,11 whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.12 But these, like unreasoning animals, born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, reviling where they have no knowledge, will in the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed,13 suffering wrong as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are stains and blemishes, reveling in their tdeceptions, as they carouse with you,14 having eyes full of adultery that never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children;15 forsaking the right way, they have gone astray, having followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;16 but he received a rebuke for his own transgression, for a mute donkey, speaking with a voice of a man, restrained the madness of the prophet.

17 These are springs without water and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved.18 For speaking out arrogant words of vanity they entice by fleshly desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error,19 promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved.20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.22 It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT," and, "A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire."
