Àwọn Wolii Èké ati Olùkọ́ni Èké

(Jud 4-13)

1 ṢUGBỌN awọn woli eke wà lãrin awọn enia na pẹlu, gẹgẹ bi awọn olukọ́ni eke yio ti wà larin nyin, awọn ẹniti yio yọ́ mu adámọ ègbé wọ̀ inu nyin wá, ani ti yio sẹ́ Oluwa ti o rà wọn, nwọn o si mu iparun ti o yara kánkán wá sori ara wọn. 2 Ọpọlọpọ ni yio si mã tẹle ìwa wọbia wọn; nipa awọn ẹniti a o fi mã sọ ọrọ-odi si ọ̀na otitọ. 3 Ati ninu ojukòkoro ni nwọn o mã fi nyin ṣe ere jẹ nipa ọrọ ẹtàn: idajọ ẹniti kò falẹ̀ lati ọjọ ìwa, ìparun wọn kò si tõgbé. 4 Nitoripe bi Ọlọrun kò ba dá awọn angẹli si ti nwọn ṣẹ, ṣugbọn ti o sọ wọn si isalẹ ọrun apadi, ti o si fi wọn sinu ọgbun òkunkun biribiri awọn ti a pamọ́ de idajọ; 5 Ti kò si dá aiye igbãni si, ṣugbọn o pa Noa pẹlu awọn meje miran mọ́, oniwasu ododo, nigbati o mu kikun omi wá sori aiye awọn alaiwà-bi-Ọlọrun; 6 Ti o sọ awọn ilu Sodomu on Gomorra di ẽru, nigbati o fi ifọ́ afọbajẹ dá wọn lẹbi, ti o fi wọn ṣe apẹrẹ fun awọn ti yio jẹ alaiwà-bi-Ọlọrun; 7 O si yọ Loti olõtọ, ẹniti ìwa wọbia awọn enia buburu bà ninu jẹ: 8 (Nitori ọkunrin olõtọ nì bi o ti ngbe ãrin wọn, ti o nri, ti o si ngbọ́, lojojumọ ni ìwa buburu wọn mba ọkàn otitọ rẹ̀ jẹ́): 9 Oluwa mọ̀ bi ã ti íyọ awọn ẹni ìwa-bi-Ọlọrun kuro ninu idanwo ati bi ã ti ípa awọn alaiṣõtọ ti a njẹ niya mọ dè ọjọ idajọ: 10 Ṣugbọn pãpã awọn ti ntọ̀ ara lẹhin ninu ifẹkufẹ ẽri, ti nwọn si ngàn awọn ijoye, awọn ọ̀yájú, aṣe-tinuẹni, nwọn kò bẹ̀ru ati mã sọ̀rọ ẹgan si awọn oloye. 11 Bẹni awọn angẹli bi nwọn ti pọ̀ ni agbara ati ipá tõ nì, nwọn kò dá wọn lẹjọ ẹ̀gan niwaju Oluwa. 12 Ṣugbọn awọn wọnyi, bi ẹranko igbẹ́ ti kò li ero, ẹranko ṣa ti a dá lati mã mu pa, nwọn nsọ̀rọ ẹgan ninu ọran ti kò yé wọn; a o pa wọn run patapata ninu ibajẹ ara wọn. 13 Nwọn o si jẹ ère aiṣododo, awọn ti nwọn kà a si aiye jijẹ lati mã jẹ adùn aiye li ọsán. Nwọn jẹ́ abawọn ati àbuku, nwọn njaiye ninu asè-ifẹ́ wọn nigbati nwọn ba njẹ ase pẹlu nyin; 14 Awọn oloju ti o kún fun panṣaga, ti kò si le dẹkun ẹ̀ṣẹ idá; ti ntàn awọn ọkàn ti kò fi ẹsẹ mulẹ jẹ: awọn ti nwọn ni ọkàn ti o ti fi ojukòkoro kọ́ra; awọn ọmọ ègún: 15 Nwọn kọ̀ ọ̀na ti o tọ́ silẹ, nwọn si ṣako lọ, nwọn tẹle ọ̀na Balaamu ọmọ Beori, ẹniti o fẹràn ère aiṣododo; 16 Ṣugbọn a ba a wi nitori irekọja rẹ̀: odi kẹtẹkẹtẹ fi ohùn enia sọ̀rọ, o si fi opin si were wolĩ na. 17 Awọn wọnyi ni kanga ti kò li omi, ikũku ti ẹfũfu ngbá kiri; awọn ẹniti a pa òkunkun biribiri mọ́ de tití lai. 18 Nitori igbati nwọn ba nsọ̀rọ ihalẹ asan, ninu ifẹkufẹ ara, nipa wọbia, nwọn a mã tan awọn ti nwọn fẹrẹ má ti ibọ tan kuro lọwọ ti nwọn wà ninu iṣina. 19 Nwọn a mã ṣe ileri omnira fun wọn, nigbati awọn pãpã jẹ ẹrú idibajẹ́: nitori ẹniti o ba ṣẹgun ẹni, on na ni isi sọ ni di ẹrú. 20 Nitori lẹhin ti nwọn ba ti yọ tan kuro ninu ẽri aiye, nipa mimọ̀ Oluwa ati Olugbala wa Jesu Kristi, bi nwọn ba si tun fi ara kó o, ti a si ṣẹgun wọn, igbẹhin wọn a buru jù ti iṣaju lọ. 21 Nitori ìba san fun wọn, ki nwọn ki o má mọ̀ ọ̀na ododo, jù lẹhin ti nwọn mọ̀ ọ tan, ki nwọn ki o yipada kuro ninu ofin mimọ́ ti a fifun wọn. 22 Owe otitọ nì ṣẹ si wọn lara, Ajá tún pada si ẽbì ara rẹ̀; ati ẹlẹdẹ ti a ti wẹ̀ mọ́ sinu àfọ ninu ẹrẹ̀.

The Rise of False Prophets

1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment;5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter;7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds),9  then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,

10 and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority.
Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,11 whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.12 But these, like unreasoning animals, born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, reviling where they have no knowledge, will in the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed,13 suffering wrong as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are stains and blemishes, reveling in their tdeceptions, as they carouse with you,14 having eyes full of adultery that never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children;15 forsaking the right way, they have gone astray, having followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;16 but he received a rebuke for his own transgression, for a mute donkey, speaking with a voice of a man, restrained the madness of the prophet.

17 These are springs without water and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved.18 For speaking out arrogant words of vanity they entice by fleshly desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error,19 promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved.20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.22 It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT," and, "A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire."
