1 Pọl na Silvanọs na Timọti nēdegara nzukọ nke ndi Tesalọnaika nime Chineke, bú Nna-ayi, na Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist, akwukwọ:
2 Amara diri unu na udo nke si n'aka Chineke, bú Nna-ayi, na Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist puta.
3 Ayi ji ugwọ ikele Chineke ekele mb͕e nile bayere unu, umu-nna-ayi, dika o kwesiri, n'ihi na okwukwe-unu nāba uba nke-uku, ihunanya ahu unu nile n'otù n'otù nāhurita ibe-unu nēri kwa nne; 4 ya mere ayi onwe-ayi nānya isi n'aru unu n'etiti nzukọ Chineke nile n'ihi ntachi-obi-unu na okwukwe-unu nime nsob͕u-unu nile na nime nkpab͕u nile unu nānagide; 5 nke bu ihe nēme ka ikpé ziri ezi nke Chineke puta ìhè; ka ewe gua unu na ndi kwesiri ala-eze Chineke, nke unu nāhu kwa ahuhu n'ihi ya: 6 asi na ọ bu ezie na o ziri ezi n'ebe Chineke nọ inyeghachi ndi nākpab͕u unu nkpab͕u, 7 na inyeghachi unu, bú ndi anākpab͕u, aru-efè, ayi na unu, nime nkpughe nke Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus site n'elu-igwe, Ya na ndi-mọ-ozi nke ike-Ya, 8 nime ọku nēre ere, nābọ̀ ọ́bọ̀ n'aru ndi nāmataghi Chineke, ha na ndi nāṅaghi nti ozi ọma nke Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus: 9 bú madu ndi gāhu ahuhu-nmehie nke ọmuma-ikpe ziri ezi, bú nbibi ebighi-ebi nke sitere n'iru Onye-nwe-ayi, site kwa n'ebube nke ike-Ya, 10 mb͕e ọ bula Ọ gabia ka ewe nye Ya otuto nime ndi nsọ Ya, ka ibobo-Ya we nwu kwa ihe nile n'aru nime ndi kwereri ekwe (n'ihi na ekwere àmà ayi b͕ara unu) n'ubọchi ahu. 11 Ọ bu kwa nka ka ayi ji nēkpe kwa ekpere bayere unu mb͕e nile, ka Chineke-ayi we gua unu na ndi kwesiri ọkpukpọ akpọrọ unu, ka O were kwa ike mezu ihe nile ọ bula nke diri idi-nma ezi nma na ọlu nile ọ bula nke okwukwe; 12 ka ewe nye aha Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus otuto nime unu, nye kwa unu onwe-unu otuto nime Ya, dika amara nke Chineke-ayi na Onye-nwe-ayi Jisus Kraist si di.
2 Thessalonians 1
1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ;2 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.3 We are bound to give thanks to God always to you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith growth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth;4 so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure;5 which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:6 if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,7 and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire,8 rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:9 who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,10 when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.11 To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and every work of faith, with power;12 that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
