3 បងប្អូនអើយ យើងត្រូវតែអរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់ស្ដីអំពីបងប្អូនជានិច្ច យើងធ្វើដូច្នេះពិតជាត្រឹមត្រូវមែន ព្រោះជំនឿរបស់បងប្អូនកាន់តែចំរើនឡើង ហើយបងប្អូនក៏មានចិត្ដស្រឡាញ់គ្នាទៅវិញ ទៅមករឹតតែខ្លាំងឡើងៗដែរ។
4 ដូច្នេះ យើងបានខ្ពស់មុខ នៅចំពោះក្រុមជំនុំ*នានារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ព្រោះតែបងប្អូន ដ្បិតបងប្អូនចេះស៊ូទ្រំា និង មានជំនឿ ទោះបីត្រូវគេធ្វើទុក្ខបៀតបៀន និង ត្រូវរងទុក្ខវេទនាគ្រប់បែបយ៉ាងក៏ដោយ។
5 ហេតុការណ៍នេះ សអោយឃើញថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទ្រង់វិនិច្ឆ័យត្រឹមត្រូវណាស់ គឺទុក្ខលំបាករបស់បងប្អូនធ្វើអោយបងប្អូនសមនឹងចូលទៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យ*របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មែន ដ្បិតបងប្អូនរងទុក្ខលំបាក ព្រោះតែព្រះរាជ្យនេះឯង។ 6 ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងសំរេចការមួយដ៏ត្រឹមត្រូវ គឺព្រះអង្គនាំទុក្ខវេទនាយកមកសងពួកអ្នកដែលធ្វើ អោយបងប្អូនវេទនា 7 ហើយព្រះអង្គនឹងប្រទានអោយបងប្អូនដែលរងទុក្ខវេទនា បានសំរាកជាមួយយើង នៅពេលព្រះអម្ចាស់យេស៊ូលេចចេញពីស្ថានបរមសុខ*មក ជាមួយពួកទេវតា*ដ៏មានឫទ្ធានុភាព។ 8 ព្រះអង្គយាងមកក្នុងភ្លើងសន្ធោសន្ធៅ ដើម្បីធ្វើទោសអស់អ្នកដែលមិនស្គាល់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង អស់អ្នកដែលមិនស្ដាប់តាមដំណឹងល្អ*របស់ព្រះយេស៊ូជាអម្ចាស់នៃយើង។ 9 ពួកគេនឹងទទួលទោស គឺត្រូវវិនាសអន្ដរាយអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។ ពួកគេនៅឆ្ងាយពីព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះអម្ចាស់ និង ឆ្ងាយពីឥទ្ធិឫទ្ធិប្រកបដោយសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។

11 ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាយើងចេះតែអធិស្ឋានអោយបងប្អូនជានិច្ច សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ នៃយើងប្រទានអោយបងប្អូនរស់នៅបានសមនឹងការត្រាស់ហៅរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។ សូមព្រះអង្គប្រទានអោយបងប្អូនអាចបំពេញបំណងដ៏ល្អគ្រប់យ៉ាង និង អោយជំនឿរបស់បងប្អូនបង្កើតផលបានបរិបូណ៌t ដោយសារឫទ្ធានុភាពរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។ 12 ដូច្នេះព្រះនាមរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូជាអម្ចាស់នៃយើង មានសិរីរុងរឿងនៅក្នុងបងប្អូន ហើយបងប្អូនក៏មានសិរីរុងរឿងក្នុងព្រះអង្គដោយសារព្រះគុណរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នៃយើង និង ព្រះអម្ចាស់យេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដដែរ។
2 Thessalonians 1
1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ;2 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.3 We are bound to give thanks to God always to you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith growth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth;4 so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure;5 which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:6 if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,7 and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire,8 rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:9 who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,10 when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.11 To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and every work of faith, with power;12 that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
