2 Tesalonicenses 1
Saludos de Pablo
1 Nosotros, Pablo, Silast y Timoteo, escribimos esta carta a la iglesia en Tesalónica, a ustedes que pertenecen a Dios nuestro Padre y al Señor Jesucristo.
2 Que Dios nuestro Padret y el Señor Jesucristo les den gracia y paz.
Ánimo durante la persecución
3 Amados hermanos, no podemos más que agradecerle a Dios por ustedes, porque su fe está floreciendo, y el amor de unos por otros, creciendo. 4 Con orgullo les contamos a las demás iglesias de Dios acerca de la constancia y la fidelidad de ustedes en todas las persecuciones y privaciones que están sufriendo. 5 Y Dios usará esa persecución para mostrar su justicia y para hacerlos dignos de su reino, por el cual sufren. 6 En su justicia él les dará su merecido a quienes los persiguen.
7 Y Dios les brindará descanso a ustedes que están siendo perseguidos y también a nosotros cuando el Señor Jesús aparezca desde el cielo. Él vendrá con sus ángeles poderosos, 8 en llamas de fuego, y traerá juicio sobre los que no conocen a Dios y sobre los que se niegan a obedecer la Buena Noticia de nuestro Señor Jesús. 9 Serán castigados con destrucción eterna, separados para siempre del Señor y de su glorioso poder. 10 Aquel día cuando él venga, recibirá gloria de su pueblo santo y alabanza de todos los que creen. Esto también los incluye a ustedes, porque creyeron lo que les dijimos acerca de él.
11 Así que seguimos orando por ustedes, pidiéndole a nuestro Dios que los ayude para que vivan una vida digna de su llamado. Que él les dé el poder para llevar a cabo todas las cosas buenas que la fe los mueve a hacer. 12 Entonces el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesús será honrado por la vida que llevan ustedes, y serán honrados junto con él. Todo esto se hace posible por la gracia de nuestro Dios y Señor, Jesucristo.t
2 THESSALONIANS 1

To the church in Thessalonica, the people of God our Father and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 I pray that God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you and will bless you with peace!When Christ Returns
3 My dear friends, we always have good reason to thank God for you, because your faith in God and your love for each other keep growing all the time.
4 This is why we brag about you to all of God's churches. We tell them how patient you are and how you keep on having faith, even though you are going through a lot of trouble and suffering.
5 All this shows that God judges fairly and is making you fit to share in his kingdom for which you are suffering. 6 It is only right for God to punish everyone who is causing you trouble, 7 but he will give you relief from your troubles. God will do the same for us, when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven with his powerful angels
8 and with a flaming fire.
Our Lord Jesus will punish anyone who doesn't know God and won't obey his message. 9 t Their punishment will be eternal destruction, and they will be kept far from the presence of our Lord and his glorious strength.
10 This will happen on the day when the Lord returns to be praised and honored by all who have faith in him and belong to him. This includes you, because you believed what we said.
11 God chose you, and we keep praying that God will make you worthy of being his people. We pray for God's power to help you do all the good things you hope to do and your faith makes you want to do. 12 Then, because of the undeserved grace of God and our Lord Jesus Christ, you will bring honor to the name of our Lord Jesus, and he will bring honor to you.
